Family-friendly vacation rentals in Damascus Township

We had a multi generation family gathering (13 adults and 6 kids) and everyone loved the stay. There was enough bedrooms and bedding for everyone. The place is extremely well stocked with all the appliances and cutlery and place settings for such a large group. The on property entertainment options were fantastic and well curated. The oldest generation went for long strolls on the expansive property and played corn hole. Middle generation played volleyball badminton softball TT and the kids loved running about the house, playing foozball and sprinkler and water games. House WiFi was good (necessary since no or low cell signal). Host was responsive during the stay and had their property manager assist promptly when we needed some help. Grocery stores within 10-20mins. Everyone had a wonderful peaceful time.

The house was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. It has a wood cabin aesthetic amd you feel warm as soon as you walk into the gorgeous play room. We had such a relaxing, wonderful time as a family and would love to make this an annual tradition.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at Roman's beautiful home! Getting into the home was easy and we were in love as soon as we opened the door! Before I could even get out of the car the teenagers were changed and jumping off the end of the dock. The house was exactly as pictured, open and beautiful! I spent most of my time on the deck reading a book and overlooking the water. The teenagers loved the hot tub and the accessibility to the lake. We brought paddle boards and had a blast using them up and down the lake. The fire pit was a nice touch where we enjoyed smores every night. The kitchen was well appointed and open to the massive dining room table. The lower patio was absolutely stunning with the lighting and super awesome whiskey barrel and live edge table and chairs. The kids also enjoyed the basketball court! I highly recommend Roman's house and we will definitely be returning again next year!

Perfect place for my family getaway celebrate my mom’s birthday. We all enjoyed the spacious accommodations and stunning lake views. Highly recommended!

Had such a relaxing weekend at this little cabin. The hot tub view was absolutely the best and it snowed the whole time we were there so it was extra cozy and special. The piano upstairs is amazing, I brought some music along and we had fun singalongs. Also, Jeffersonville is a cute little town to visit! Highly recommend.

Great place to relax and be surrounded by nature. Well maintained backyard with lots of space to play football, soccer or volleyball. The creek near the house was an amazing place where my kids had a blast.

Eugene was very helpful and communicative. We 1000% enjoyed our girls trip stay at this location! 10/10 recommend!

We stayed here with 12 adults and a few of our kids. the house was a perfect fit for us. the view is beautiful and the house was really clean. some of the pictures on the listing are not updated and the house is even better in person. Jennifer is extremely responsive and was really flexible with anything that we needed. I would 100% stay here again and recommend fully for a nice family getaway

Spectacular setting! Incredibly comfortable home. Host/caretaker was very responsive and attentive to our questions and needs! It felt like home and we would definitely return. The porch is unbeatable!

This was our 4th time staying at the Shack and it never disappoints. It is such a special place and Bridie is such an accommodating and kind host. Our toddler had a blast running around the property in the snow and waking up to deer in the yard. Hope we can stay again in the future!

We had a great time staying in Jane's place! The house was very cozy and comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and fun to cook in, and the wood stove did a great job of keeping the place warm through some very low temperatures. The property was convenient to town and some nice hikes, but felt very private, tucked-away, and woodsy. Jane and her husband were also incredibly responsive and helpful, and even provided us a lot of wood to keep the stove going. Really lovely, we hope to be back!

we had a great time here! the bungalow was adorable and the whole property was very cute. we visited in the winter and had a great time exploring, saying hi to the animals, and relaxing but we hope to come back in the summer to enjoy all the other amazing amenities! definitely would recommend

First and foremost, Joe and Amy are one of the most gracious, accommodating and thoughtful hosts we've ever met. They were very helpful and responsive to our all our inquiries and truly made us feel at home. We loved everything about their property and we felt their sincerity in wanting to share it with their guests. We had a great amount of snow during our stay and it was gorgeous. We felt safe exploring their private trails and they made sure we find our way. The cabin was clean, well kept and had everything we needed. There were also tons of information provided about the area.and its vicinity. We visited the nearby falls as suggested and trails there were not to be missed as well. Do we hope to come back? Of course we do and we will! Oh, and thanks to the chickens for our morning eggs.

This was our second stay here. Patrick's cabin is peaceful and cozy. We were greeted with a welcome note a bottle of lovely wine and popcorn. We were there during a cold snap yet were very comfortable. The wood burning stove kept us nice and warm (with plenty of wood in the wood shed). The setting is idyllic we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Patrick is easy to communicate with and very accomdating including for our need to change our reservation. We'd love to return in the warm weather. It's a very special place!

John's place is a tranquil home away from home. John always makes usfeel welcomed like family.

George and Gail are great hosts. They are quick to respond and make everything easy.

Yan is a great host and his property is a well maintained family operation. The staff on site were very accommodating and kind - they were hard at work keeping the pool clean all weekend during a 100 degree heatwave! This listing has a rustic cabin feel which is great for getting away with a big group of friends for the weekend. Yan allowed us to checkout anytime we wanted which was extremely generous. Recommended!

This was our 3rd annual trip to the Poconos, the 3rd house we’ve rented and by far, our favorite! It was perfect for our family of 11 and our 3 dogs. We’ll definitely be back! The house is a little further away from Camelback, ice skating, and the outlets, but it’s absolutely worth the extra drive for the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The only thing to note is that you need to bring your own linens. I didn’t realize this until the day of our trip. It’s not a big deal, but I wish I had noticed sooner. Just make sure to read the listing carefully. Hosts were great, thank you!

Thomas was a great host. He was very friendly and responsive. There was a storm the night before we arrived and one of the boat oars went missing. Tom immediately arranged for a replacement set should we want them. His property is beautiful! Lovely swimmable lake with kayaks that we used daily and it’s a quick drive to the public beach which was great for the kids. Nice yard games and activities too so you don’t really need any plans. We had a great time!

This is a beautiful and comfortable home, with a delightful pool! As described, or better than, I’d say. We had a wonderful three days there.

Omg house is amazing. Really clean rooms and bathrooms. We have 12 ppl 6 kids and 6 adults and more than enough space. Host make basement for kids with a lot pf toys and games. Kids were in big playground. We spent great time with friends for New Year. Thank you so much.

Had such a good time at Andrea’s place. Pictures were exactly as described. Was helpful reading the reviews as well - this is truly someone’s home that you’re staying in. Absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub as well as the fire pit. Was a great family weekend spent up there. Had plenty of privacy as well and loved loved the farmers market on Sunday morning (we got to feed and pet alpacas!!) the one thing I would say is be prepared to not have service in the area. If you download the area map online ahead of time it is really helpful. We had no issues connecting online when we were in the house but if you do need a map, it helps to have it downloaded just in case. Overall, a great experience!
