Allison is an amazing host! Her place was perfect for our family. It is about a 10 minute drive to Hammons field and it's close to the MSU campus. I would highly recommend this home to our family and friends. Thank you for the great stay!

I would give 6 stars, if I could! Super cute home, vintage with modern and luxurious touches. Heaven on earth if you're a bookworm, you'll know when you get there. :) I was SO excited to see more than one skillet and pot in the kitchen, and they were large enough to cook for a family. And a crock pot! Wonderfully stocked and equipped kitchen. Bed and bedding super comfortable, lots of extra nice blankets and quilts. Nice plush bath towels. Designated dog-friendly sheets and blankets to cover furniture if you have a dog. Super cute and quiet neighborhood, absolutely zero noise from neighbors or busy streets. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

If you're visiting Springfield and the surrounding areas with your pet, this is the go to place. It's a great size and has a sizable yard for your furry friend to run around in. An Aldi's is down the road for close groceries and the house is near enough major roads to get anywhere with relative ease.

Got the best sleep ever at Joe's place. The king bed and pillows are so comfortable we had a hard time getting up in the morning we were so cozy. unfortunately, it was too cold to properly enjoy the lake but there are a lot of local restaurants and bars nearby we tried. The house is also near Starks Caverns which was a cool adventure. We will definitely come back in the summer time to do some fishing and boating.

it was wonderful stay especially for the price. I would highly recommend to anyone. also very responsive and attentive to our questions as well as making accommodations for us to check in early as we were from out of town

The house was exactly as listed and the slip worked perfectly for our boat. Beds were very comfortable and the house had all the amenities and then some. Grocery store is only 7min away and we were able to grill out on the deck. Watching the sunrise every morning was amazing! The dogs really enjoyed their walks in the quiet neighborhood. The dead end road on cedar point had little to no traffic. Everyone had a wonderful time! We would definitely stay again!! What a lovely spot on the lake!

A beautiful home that met all my requirements. Instructions to get in had a helpful video. My dog loved the yard which was entirely fenced with no holes for him to use to escape.

We loved the accommodations. Very cozy and comfortable. We chose to stay in at night to cook and then relax and read in the warm ambiance the fireplace provided Bed was so comfortable we slept incredibly well and the shower was incredibly amazing. Great water pressure.

The house was beautiful and very up to date. Great location with water access, we all felt right at home. Little drive/walk to amenities and food but was not bad at all. Overall a very good experience and would 100% rent again

This is such a beautiful home! It is very spacious, and the owner has provided so many nice touches. All basic kitchen needs are met, and the chef's kitchen is wonderful. There are lots of extra toiletries provided in the bathrooms in case you need them. The bedrooms are nice. We are comfortable here with our family of eight. The owner gets back to you quickly if you have any questions, and truly wants you to view this as your home while you are here. Great Stay!!

We had a great stay. Very large living space. Like huge!! Everything was super clean and a thoughtful host. Lots of a little things to make you stay more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again.

She was an amazing host, meet us late at night to show us where to go and we had an amazing peaceful time at the camping spot we choose.

Great location and plenty of room for 5 adults. In town for a funeral, and needed room for adult kids so they could attend all the family events.

We stayed for MO nationals wresting tournament with another family. It was a little outside of town but for the rate, it was very comfortable, neat, spacious, quiet and all we needed!

It was a nice property and fit our needs perfectly.

After staying here at Velvet's cabin twice now, we've decided this Is one of favorite get aways. It's just far enough fir us to get away from out busy business life, yet close enough if we had to step back into it we could. it's so cozy, with everything you can imagine. I highly recommend this little hideaway. it's peaceful, a good place for the perfect reset. we always have felt revived after just chilling here. A must check out for anyone looking In this area!
