We had an incredible stay in this beautifully remodeled train car! It was such a unique and cozy space, with every detail thoughtfully planned out to make it both functional and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My teenagers absolutely loved it and are already talking about coming back for spring break next year. The location is perfect, a beautiful but close ride to Bennett Springs for trout fishing, though we ended up spending more time in the train than at the park! The hosts were also amazing—friendly, helpful, and really made us feel at home. I’ve already recommended this place to many people, and I highly suggest it to anyone looking for a truly one-of-a-kind experience! You will not be disappointed!

Another great stay with Dmitriy, one of my favore places to stay when going to Bennett Springs! Quick 3 minute drive to the state park, very clean and comfortable beds! Love the seclusion, Best part is you are always greeted with a big wave and a happy smile when you arrive if Dmitriy is outside! They work hard to keep there place beautiful, I’ll always recommend there place! Looking forward to the next stay!

Woodland Haven smells like fresh paint and new drywall when you walk in! It’s so clean and inviting. There were lots of special touches that made us feel welcome. Such as choices in coffee (coffee is important!). The location exceeded our expectations - no traffic sounds, no neighbor sounds (you can’t even see neighbors). Just morning birdsong. It is totally private. Our granddaughter loved the little reading nook under the stairs and asked us to build her one. We went to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder House. It was about an hour away. Without reservation, Hollie was a fabulous host! We would stay again, if she would have us.

Jim & Amy's place was very large and perfect for accommodating a large family. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. They have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The porch is large with plenty of seating and ceiling fans that are very helpful if your stay is during the warmer months. They were responsive and helpful when an unexpected problem occurred during our stay, and went the extra mile to make things right. Highly recommend this house and the hosts!

Perfect stay for a group. Just up the hill from Larry’s and walking distance to the park and fishing. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of parking for multiple cars. A great stay. Well decorated and comfortable furniture. Would absolutely stay here again.

After my first visit here, we loved it so much I left a great review and lightheartedly said that the only thing that could make it better was cast iron cookware and a rocking chair. So this visit, I walk in and find 2 cast iron skillets on the stove and a rocking camping chair in the living room! Now THAT is service! Needless to say, I was, once again, thoroughly impressed. We also enjoyed awesome but severe thunderstorms this time, including tornado warnings and hail, which just enhanced the coziness of this being a walkout basement and the safest place to be in a tornado. It also brought to mind another suggestion, tho, as I didn’t have any cover under which to park my rental car. That might be a good idea! I also discovered one more suggestion… in light of the boasted “country experience”, I think a fire pit or some sort of place outside where a campfire can be enjoyed would add so much too that experience! Thank you, again, for a most enjoyable, comfortable, homey stay!

absolutely beautiful property, we hosted a wellness retreat here and Michelle was so helpful!! the tents are super comfortable, and the kitchen is SO COOL. the bathrooms are way better than I expected for outdoor bathrooms, super clean and well stocked. felt like a normal home bathroom!! the trails are gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the frog pond and the firepits. will definitely be booking again!!

Great location, close to the park. It was on the main road but traffic noise was unnoticeable. Comfortable main room for relaxing. Had most items in kitchen, could use some more for meals when cooking. Only five forks for example, so bring more if needed. Bathrooms very clean and spacious. Don't expect more than hand soap. If showering, bring shampoo and soap.

We had a great time & would definitely stay again. My only complaint is proximity to Bennett Springs park. The listing says 10 miles but it was actually over 20. Not a big enough deal to not come back but would have been nicer to be a little closer for back & forth trout fishing.

The home was clean and spacious and was definitely worth paying a little more for instead of tent camping like we usually do. Full kitchen with a big fridge and washer and dryer. We had more than enough space for the 8 people who stayed. Lot's of space outside. They also provided the ride to and from the river, along with raft rentals from Sand Springs. We will definitely be staying again.

Great little place close to the spring if you’re going to fish. That’s what my purpose was. Unfortunately I only stayed 1 night due to Bennett Spring flooding due to all the heavy rain. The flood didn’t affect the cabin at all or getting to the cabin but since I was only there for a fishing trip I decided to leave as fishing was done due to the high water.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! The brand new cabin was clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We loved having a comfortable place to stay right outside of Bennett Spring State Park. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again! This would be a fantastic location for a family reunion with a total of four cabins surrounding a nice pond stocked with fish. We were impressed that it had a gate to enter and exit so that we felt very safe and secure while we were there.

This is a new property, secluded and tucked up against wooded hills. River is near by (on the huge property) along with all the amenities listed. This is a great retreat space and fits so well for large families or multiple couples and it’s pet friendly.! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

After staying here at Velvet's cabin twice now, we've decided this Is one of favorite get aways. It's just far enough fir us to get away from out busy business life, yet close enough if we had to step back into it we could. it's so cozy, with everything you can imagine. I highly recommend this little hideaway. it's peaceful, a good place for the perfect reset. we always have felt revived after just chilling here. A must check out for anyone looking In this area!
