Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Custer

This was our home base for 9 days while we explored all around the Black Hills and into Wyoming. The house was very comfortable for us , our friends who joined for the first few days, and our two pups. It was easy to find, easy to get into, and easy to feel right at home. Ryan’s recommendations for food did not disappoint. We were all craving a good steak dinner our first night there, so we decided to try Delmonico Grille. The food was amazing!!! We also ventured out and tried a couple places on our own. Ryan, if you haven’t been, you should go to these two places. Murphy’s Pub & Grille has a great atmosphere, and their bacon wrapped buffalo meatloaf is worth the trip! Next up is Neighbors Grub & Pub. Seriously, the best burger I’ve ever had!! All of Ryan’s suggestions for things to see were already on our list and were absolutely amazing!! This was definitely one of our most memorable vacations

The apt is in the bottom. When you walk in there is the twin trundle bed. Everything is liked pictured. The apt was clean and Chris gave us a walk through. The laundry is a shared space, but there is a door with a lock to separate the upstairs from downstairs. Chris was super nice and was even willing and provide us with seasonings if we chose to cook. We felt safe and everything was clean.

Loved my stay at Jamin & Jessica's place! Great location in Rapid City that is a quick drive to anything downtown, even a few hikes. Also loved proximity to nearly everything on my bucket list for the Black Hills. House was the perfect size and had everything I needed for a month-long stay: wifi worked great too for working from the house. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice, quiet place. A short drive to town but very doable. Short drive to most of the touristy spots. For us the trout fishing was close with several lakes to select from. Fantastic fishing, 19 trout the first day in less than 3 hours. It’s not real fancy but real comfortable, and lots of wildlife in the yard. Bob and Candy were great, helpful host’s and just two doors down the road.

Beautiful yard and how quiet the neighborhood was

We enjoyed our stay here. While it was mainly a home base while we explored the area, it definitely served its purpose and was comfortable to stay in. It was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was peaceful, but still close to the town. Raquel was quick with responses to our questions and proactive in reaching out about check in and check out. Also, check out was a breeze. The checklist was short and sweet, and I didn’t feel like I had to do half the cleaner’s jobs for them.

This was an amazing and cozy stay! Our dogs loved the large fenced in yard. Julie was quick to respond to any questions we had! Would recommend to anyone traveling to the Rapid City area!

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve stayed. It is 100% off the beaten path and we absolutely loved it!!! The surroundings were breathtaking and watching the sunrise/sunset over the hills was perfection. We had a small hiccup during our stay and Peyton and her dad were amazing throughout it! Great communication and kindness. She’s a fantastic host!

We loved this place. Came after a week in our camper & needed a few nights of some extra comforts. Rock crest did not disappoint! We stayed in the French creek cabin. It was tucked away in the corner of the resort backed up to a large rockface hill. The cabin was beautiful with wood interior, stone fireplace & a private hot tub on the deck. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring the nearby parks. We walked into town every night for dinner & to browse the little shops. The walk was less than a half mile. Always stopped for ice cream on our walk back after dinner. Best coffee shop was a hundred yards from our cabin. The kids loved the pool, it was clean & nice temp. We got there earlier than we were supposed to & they accommodated us (thank you!!) Also we had whitetail deer in our yard every morning & night. At least 6 different ones. One very big buck. Was serene. We loved it & will be recommending it to friends & family!! Thanks Rock Crest Lodge!!

Great stay with spacious living areas! Quiet neighborhood.

We booked the cabin for our annual family ski trip! We loved the space and loved that we could bring our furry friend! The home was just as described. We enjoyed the hot tub! The kids enjoyed the ping pong table in garage! What a wonderful location, will definitely book again.

This place was amazing! It felt nice and private without being too remote and the clubhouse was an awesome way to kill a day instead of going into town!

Staying with Black Hills Station was a wonderful choice for my time in Rapid City. The cabin was very comfortable. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen in a long time. Despite being located near the freeway I was not kept awake from any noise. Staff members at Black Hills Station were very helpful and kind. Would absolutely recommend this place to others.

We really enjoyed or stay at Sarah's Airbnb. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was quite enjoyable. Although, it is on the edge of downtown, we had no issue with road noise, which was nice relative to the location. There is a grocery store across the street, so it was easy to walk over and buy food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. The Pizza Mill restaurant was also across the street and there pizzas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this impendent and locally owned business. We also walked a block to breakfast one morning and ate at the Our Place restaurant. This locally owned breakfast diner was also a gem and had a wonderful hometown atmosphere. Further down the main street were several other shops and places to eat. The only negative issue with Sarah's pace was the narrow, steep, and winding stairwell to the second floor. None of our group over 50 felt comfortable staying upstairs. All and all a good stay.

As advertised a beautiful home in a great location with many amenities. Very nice furnishings, hot tub was great and very roomy for groups. You cannot go wrong with this house.

Wayne’s place is charming and cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor and old west Deadwood photos and feel. We enjoyed the at home feeling. We had a great experience! Can’t wait to go back

Great cabin, easy to find, so close to LOTS of things to see and do, peaceful, great amenities-especially the huge loft area!! Very easy check-in and out!! Friendly host!! We will be back!! :)

Same-day booking & even had an EV charger (w/ garage parking)… this is my 1st cross country trip in an EV, so that was a cool thing to see. This “Holy Ranch” is really a beautiful, peaceful spot. Woke up to see the sun coming up from the back window, along w/ all sorts of different birds, squirrels, chicken fam, running around & playing. Got the chance to chit chat w/ Virgil on my way out & he’s such a cool guy… genuinely cares about people =)

Athena was very responsive and her place was very clean! It was the perfect spot for us and super cozy! The house looked exactly like the photos. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

Absolutely Magical Stay in Rapid City!!! I stayed at this beautiful cabin for a few days and honestly didn’t want to leave. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by stunning natural beauty with tall pines and incredible views. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. I especially loved starting my mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise over the hills. Perfect spot for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying nature. I’d come back in a heartbeat!! Thank you guys! 😀

Lenora was helpful. Listing description accurate. Hints for use of amenities greatly appreciated. Listing well kept and good for a family adventure. Breakable decorations few, which was appreciated given little hands we had running amuck. 10/10 would stay again.

Our trip was around 1300 miles. Nicki was very accessible and met us to check in and show us around. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Nicki provided us with lots of information on things to do and great places to eat. Would love to go back some day. We had a wonderful stay.
