Kiddville Vacation Home

JedidiahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was a great location for our family, and the history posted around the house and property was wonderful. The house is older, but that didn't bother us. We loved our walks in the woods, peaceful views of wildlife, and privacy. The location was not far from downtown Custer and not far from many other vacation hot spots. The house has ample WiFi for all your electronic needs. Overall a great place to stay!

Perfect Custer Base Camp

KatherineRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This place was close drive to all the places to see without all the crowding. Was clean, and easy to access. Host was super great, responsive, and friendly. Never felt unsafe here. Was well stocked with kitchen cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable and clean. The coffee area was super thoughtful. The only thing that we could even consider a weakness is the water pressure/color. But to remedy this they put a filtered water machine for drinking etc in the kitchen, which worked good for us. We brought a family with little kiddos and dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home to stay at! Beautiful views of the Black Hills. Close to everything! We went hiking everyday at Custer & the Black Hills. Home is very spacious, could have 6 adults easily. Jeff is super accommodating. He has everything you need there. Check in and check out extremely simple. Would definitely stay here again!

Walt's Retreat

MaryannRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Shana’s place is comfy, cozy, impeccably clean and perfect for activities, especially attending the Custer State Park Buffalo RoundUp! Shana gave us great tips for enjoying the RoundUp with over 20,000 people in attendance. The whole experience was made better knowing we were ‘coming home’ to a wonderful property. I highly recommend staying here and meeting Shana.

Rustic Sanctuary: Firepit + Sauna + Enjoy Wildlife

NoahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great stay at this place. Guest services were readily available and eager to help with a question I had when first arriving. The description of the property and amenities were spot on. The location itself also offers a great glimpse of the Black Hills wilderness as it rests next to rural properties and is only a five minute drive to state park wilderness grounds. Really enjoyed this spot!

Large Retreat*Mountain Views*Close to Custer

AshlynneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Great stay! Secluded feel while being just a couple minutes from Custer. Huge place with lots of space to spread out. Great central location for hitting different spots in the Black Hills. We brought our two large dogs and they had plenty of yard space in the front and back. Amazing views from the front porch and we had a great time hanging around the propane fire pit on the back porch. Saw tons of deer and turkey in the yard. Would definitely recommend.

Storm Mountain | Modern Wedge Cabin Black Hills

KatieRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Buffalo Ridge was our final stop on our Yellowstone adventure heading back home. Every place we stayed was unique, but Custer's Buffalo Ridge was our favorite. We will be coming back for sure! This place exceeded all others that we have tried in The Hills over the years.

Stone Wall Wedge Cabin | Black Hills Mt. Rushmore

DebbieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This was our first time visiting the Black Hills, and Buffalo Ridge was a perfect location for our family and all the area’s wonderful attractions! We thought the Stonewall Cabin was wonderful! We loved the layout and decor. My only issue was the floors were dirty especially by the kitchen and behind the sofa. I understand the dust etc from the parking area, but they really need a good cleaning. We wished the deck had a table & chairs so we could eat outside. I know there is a picnic table, but a table on the deck would have been great for family time too! Overall we loved it, and we enjoyed the pool too. Having adult pool hours is wonderful. Our kids are in their 20’s and we loved the pool at night. We highly recommend this cabin and campground. They were also great with the booking and reservation process ! Thank you for the great stay !

The Coop Treehouse with Forest + Mountain Views

KatherineRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The coop tree house was such a neat experience. Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved waking up and seeing deer and turkey roaming around outside. Loved the decor and cozy feel for the beds. The campground was pretty empty being mid Nov which made it quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay!

Dog-friendly 3BR house with swimming pool access!

KristineRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed our stay. The host are very responsive if you have any issues. It is very quiet and private. Beautiful deck and lots of space. There were a few little things like the grill was very dirty, the dishwasher was broken and hard to make work, one pull out couch is broken and there was damage to some of the other furniture etc. However, none of it really affected our stay. The driveway is steep and there isn't a lot of yard space, but the home is very large and well stocked with what you need. The Wi-Fi was amazingly fast. There was soap/shampoo etc. in each bathroom, laundry soap, dishsoap, cleaning supplies, spices, coffee etc. The location is on a gravel road and is very close to Custer and pretty centrally located for the area. It was nice to have access to the KOA pools etc. There were two large TV's, a Fooseball table, a full wet bar/kitchen downstairs and an amazing spa tub room. Also, stero through the home and deck. We would definitely recommend the property!

Inviting Cabin 13 near Mt. Rushmore & Custer, SD.

CodyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Ugh, we didn’t want to leave and neither did, Princess lol… What an absolute amazing spot, was exactly as described.. However, I’m 6’4 so anyone on the taller side, be prepared for the showers in the cabin lol… Now, the showers were great to have, I just needed to duck a little but honestly wasn’t that big of a deal at all… Location, was fantastic. Very quiet and off the main path. Absolutely loved this cabin and we will be making a return trip.

2 Benches Cottage in Custer *Pet Friendly*

Donna DRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Came through Custer on a whim while vanlifing and we wound up staying for 5 days. What a great town and this place was conveniently located within walking distance of the restaurants and trails. Candace responded promptly to all my messages and her home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and stocked with plenty of clean linens. If you’re looking to visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, or the the magnificent Custer State Park, this AirBnB is within a short drive.

Elk Haven Vacation Cabins #3

CourtneyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had such a great stay! Our group was only here for 2 nights but agreed we wished we could stay so much longer! We will definitely be back. There was plenty of room to sleep, the bathrooms were big, the outside space was amazing, as well as the location. Beth communicated well, and there was a packet of information for anything else we had questions about. Thanks for the great stay!

Little Joy: Needle Spire Views + Sauna + Wildlife

ZackaryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Our stay was amazing, amazing views and in a great spot in relation to cathedral spires highway, mt Rushmore, and many hiking trails. The home was clean and very easy to find and access. There are limited kitchen supplies and it would have been nice if tin foil (for grilling) or food containers were provided but other than that the stay was great!
