Vacation rentals in Curran

The Lake House was absolutely perfect for our busy family of five (kids ages 14, 11, and 8) plus our golden doodle! We even extended our trip one more day because we didn’t want to leave! The house had plenty of space and everything we needed and more. The property was beautiful and secluded. We spent our time drinking our coffee on the wooden swing watching the sun rise, swimming in the lake, catching frogs and crayfish, and cooking over the campfire at night. The lake is pretty shallow off the dock, so we weren’t able to fish there but we rented a boat from Dodge Marine (highly recommend) and spent a lot of time exploring the rest of Long Lake and fishing. We caught perch, the biggest blue gill I have ever seen, small mouth bass, and pike. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your home and being a part of creating wonderful memories. It was seriously the best way to close out our summer!

We had a wonderful time at our host's cabin. It is very clean and pristine. The location is beautiful, surrounded by woods and water. The drive to get there is also lovely, and I can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Recommend this place. Very nice. Only thing I’d have to say was response time wasn’t great. I tried to get an early check in which I understand isn’t always promised but he told me an hour or two before check in we could check in an hour early. Just wish there was better communication!

It was the perfect spot and exactly the respite we needed.

I rate this place 20+ 1.VERY STOCKED KITCHEN..well stocked condiments in fridge, lots of spices, stocked pantry, 2 different sizes crock pots 2.BEDS ARE SOOO COMFY,BEDROOMS ARE LG 3.LIVING ROOM HAS LG TV, NEW 2 COMFY LOVE SEATS & SOFA THAT ROCK AND RECLINE, wonderful for a bad back 4. LG FLUFFY TOWELS 5.HUGE DECK 6.NICE BACK YARD...we saw several deer every am 8:30- 10 in back yard or in trees at edge of yard 7.ANYTHING YOU MIGHT POSSIBLY NEED IF YOU FORGOT SOMETHING IN BATHROOMS..toothbrushes, hair spray, lotion, shampoo & cond., hairdryer ect. 8. VERY FAST AND EASY RENTAL PROCESS AND EASY CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT WE WERE SO COMFY AND THIS WAS A GREAT LOCATION TO DO SOME UPNORTH SITE SEEING AND THEN COME BACK AND RELAX. I would DEFINITELY recommend renting this location. I would love to come back to this location in the future.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin. Mardi was very responsive and attentive to our needs, she overall just seems so kind! We loved the view and area around the cabin. As well as all of the things this home had to offer. Definitely would come back :)

Absolutely a beautiful cabin, there is access to a lot of golf courses and restaurants that are a short drive away. As others have mentioned there is everything that you need at the cabin.

We stayed here for a women’s retreat and it was fantastic! The hot tub and movie room were a hit! I would absolutely recommend this home if you’re looking for a place to stay in Port Austin in the summer or in the winter.
