Vacation rentals with a patio in Cumberland County

I loved sitting on that big porch and just watching the river flow. Bring your running shoes because there is a wonderful trail along the river. The house was great- full of the charm we were looking for. Looks like the kitchen is about to get a big renovation. We had our 25th wedding anniversary dinner at Note- one block away- so delicious and cute. We spent a day at Gettysburg and def think we didn’t give ourselves enough time there. So much to come back and see. Or just sit on that big beautiful porch.

We had visited “the creek” previously and have returned because the setting is so calm and peaceful and the apt is so cozy and comfortable. Kristy is quick to respond and very accommodating with any requests. The deck is wonderful although the winter weather made it a bit chilly to sit out. We did walk along the creek both mornings as it was sunny but brisk. This tranquil spot is very close to our son so we hope to return.

We’re an older couple and we need a couple things to be just right. The accommodations were as described , the bed was comfortable, building was quiet. We felt safe in the neighborhood & could easily walk around to various restaurants.

We had a great stay here. The location is great, especially since it is a short walk from the Midtown Cinema and has good dinner options nearby. It was easy to find and park, and the home was surprisingly quiet at night for being right in a downtown neighborhood.

Beautiful and super clean apartment with amazing view of the river. We were there for July 4th and enjoyed the fireworks from the big windows in the living room overlooking the river. Fun place for a metropolitan trip - right in the heart of Harrisburg and next to the capital. Walking distance to many restaurants.

My parents loved their stay in this gorgeous apartment! The house is absolutely incredible - a true historic gem. The apartment itself is implacably maintained and has any amenity you could want. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very thoughtful - they even left a dog bed and treats for our dogs! Thanks for a great stay!

Becky’s rental was inviting, clean, and well maintained. It’s close to downtown Harrisburg and many other cute coffee shops and breakfast spots.

We really enjoyed staying at Jeannie and Craig’s! It was very comfortable with everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful country setting. We had coffee on the patio, watching the squirrels play and the leaves fall. It was absolutely beautiful!!! I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a great stay at the historic home in Mechanicsburg. Great location- awesome home.

Great for a weekend getaway. Within walking distance of downtown Carlisle for plenty of restaurants and drinks. House was clean, peaceful, quiet and private. Definitely recommend if wanting to visit Carlisle and exploring everything it has to offer.

Perfect location for visiting friends and family! Loved the kitchen and modern rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

House is located in a quiet neighborhood. There was a driveway, so no need to park on the street. House was easy to access and the linens were top notch. Also, a lot of nice amenities in the house...complimentary snacks and drinks. Kitchen was fully stocked if you need to cook anything. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. We stayed during a chilly time and the temperature inside was nice and cozy.

Our stay was fantastic! Steve’s home is a quaint historical home not far from the capital building. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for us to relax in. It’s well decorated to give a great vibe that blends the history of the home with modern touches. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and it was decorated for the holidays!

This was our second year staying at the Carriage House, and once again, it was a perfect choice for our family of five while visiting relatives in Harrisburg. The house is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. The layout is ideal for families, with plenty of space for everyone to relax after busy days. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the cozy living area was great for family downtime. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which gave us peace of mind, and the location is super convenient for exploring the area. We appreciate how much care the hosts put into making the Carriage House feel welcoming. From the comfortable beds to the little details that make traveling with kids easier, it’s clear they’ve thought of everything. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!
