House vacation rentals in Croyde Beach

The cottage and its surroundings provided everything we needed. The animals were definitely a favourite, ranging from free roaming chickens to sheep, a pig, some goats and ducks. The sheep are very friendly and we got to pet them. The premises had a climbing frame, slide and swings which was so handy. Do bring wellies as it does get muddy as you go down to the river! The outside space is huge, so didnt need to go out of the property for a walk! The nearest shops are a 10 minute drive and nearest beach around 25 minutes, great scenery, lots to do for adults and children. Overall a very friendly family with amazing land and an organised family business, will definitely recommend and hope to come back next year and use the pool! Thank you :-) Anastasia and Family x

We all really enjoyed our long weekend stay in this accommodation. The accommodation was in very good condition with comfortable beds and good communal space. The hot tub was great and it was lovely to watch the sun rise over the valley. We would recommend to others and come back to stay again. Thank you

A large group of us stayed here for a Christmas getaway and it was the perfect venue! There was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of each other. The woodlands manor cottage is beautiful, cozy and homely. The kitchen is very well kitted out with everything we needed to make a roast for a large group. The venue was a huge hit with everyone, and the indoor heated pool and games room were definitely an added highlight. The venue is as described in the photos and if anything, is bigger than the photos show! Lots of passages and rooms and space for people to have some time to their self. The large living room and log burner provide a great atmosphere for a large group. The aga and electric oven were perfect for making large meals. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Large dining area was perfect for our group meals. Hosts were very responsive and made our stay fantastic. Can not recommend this lovely venue enough!

Words fail me to say how amazing this place is. A haven of peace and tranquillity with all rooms having their own en-suite bathroom, TVs in each room, a swimming pool and a hot tub right next door. Anne-Louise welcomed us and showed us everything. After a break like this, it's really hard to return to normality!!! I can't recommend it highly enough

What an amazing find! So clean , tidy and comfortable. It was perfect. Beautiful surroundings and view down the valley. The heating had been switched on for us before we arrived and Kayleigh kindly let us stay a little longer to wait out the storm. Very kind and responsive in messages. I can not recommend this little cute lodge enough.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. Our hosts ensured all the basics, towels, bedding were in place and very fresh. We had milk, tea, coffee, cooking oil...basically everything needed to be comfortable from the moment we arrived. The little cherry on top was the addition of scones, jam and clotted cream...unexpected but very gratefully recieved. Tino & Katherine are exceptional hosts reflected in a great holiday experience

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

We had a pre Christmas family meet up. Beautiful,clean,cosy house. Nic was really welcoming and helpful. Delicious cream tea on arrival, and bread, milk, eggs, tea and coffee. Perfect house for walking and the pack of cards Inn was in walking distance providing a friendly drink in the bar.

Great location, stroll down to the high street for some lovely food after a day at the beach. Home has everything you need and lovely and clean.

We were delighted with our stay in Tricia’s house. She sent us a great deal of information beforehand and always replied to our questions. She kindly allowed us flexibility with check in and check out. This beautiful house was just as described - clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated - plenty of space and facilities for 8 of us and a dog. Lovely bed linen. We appreciated the home baked scones, jam and cream that Tricia had left for us. Parking directly outside the house was limited but there was plenty of roadside parking nearby - follow Tricia’s directions, not Google Maps! This was possibly the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in and we would highly recommend it.

Excellent place - really well thought out design that utilised every last inch of space and very good quality fittings. Nice modern touches with oil fired heating controls, electric velux windows, popup tv in the bed and more. Its also very peaceful, and with two good pubs within walking distance you're well served. The only thing missing is the local grocery store. This had closed permanently a week before we arrived - there are others fairly close by but you'll need to drive on the very narrow roads. All in all a lovely place and Rich was a very good host with fast, friendly comms. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Just spent 5 nights here with my wife, in laws and two young sons. The place is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in walking distance of the beach!! Three large double bedrooms downstairs and plenty of kitchen facilities to eat in if required. Jilly was very accommodating as a host and bent over backwards to help when we needed a high chair. I would recommend the place to anybody and the place fully deserves its excellent rating! We love North Devon!!

we absolutely loved our stay at Steve's place. we were a group of 4 adults with 4 kids (2x 1 year olds and 2x 4 year olds). Steve was very responsive and helpful in advance and checkin was very easy. we were also able to check in from 2 hours earlier than listed. the house is well located just by the main row of shops and restaurants in Croyd and has parking for 2 cars. we'd definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time visiting with a group of friends and their kids. The cottage offers a great view and has many facilities for fun activities. I would definitely recommend it for a group stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful. There were a few of us staying as a family and it was just perfect. My daughter and her friend liked the annex. It’s walking distance to the town and beach which was great. My son painted a stone and left it by the tree hoping that maybe other children can do the same.

The house was clean and bright with clear instructions on using the facilities. Its within walking distance of the village and the beaches are an easy drive away. Zoe was available, friendly and responsive to my messages. The local shop around the corner from the house is also a plus!

I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to come back! The house was gorgeous and had everything you needed. Will definitely come back in the summer!

An excellent base for our needs (4 adults and 2 children) being close to the Tarka Trail. Very clean and comfortable. Our only criticism would be that the number of glasses and bowls was limited.

Lovely, peaceful and secluded house, perfect living space for family get together. Hot tub is a huge bonus.

We were a three generation family of 6 adults and 4 boys ranging from 18 months to 5 years. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The room with games and toys was lovely and the boys referred to it as their office😀 lovely holiday
