Rural Retreat in beautiful Ruthin

SazRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a wonderful 2 nights staying in the cottage on a working farm. It felt really peaceful but was also only a 5-10 min drive to Ruthin. We stayed here so we could go walking in the Clwydian Range, this was around a 15-20 min drive depending on which car park we wanted to start the walk from, but it was all perfect for us. We even found a short local walk from the cottage itself along a public footpath. The cottage was very well equipped, we used the kitchen each evening, and it was a lovely cozy space. The cottage was immaculate and we really enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the horses nearby. Richard and Ceri were lovely and welcoming hosts and we'd highly recommend the rural retreat.

Deluxe Wood Fired Hot Tub in our Cheshire Getaway

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Pilgrim Cottage. Cosy, easy to find, and squeaky clean! We didn’t use the hot tub as we were out for most of the day, but it is a beautiful set up and it was a shame not to have had time to give it a go. The beds were really comfy and we so slept well with it being so quiet. Overall, we would recommend and thank you Sam for being so communicative ☺️

The Coach House Amazing views , hot tub, log fire

ElliotRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just stayed at The Coach House and it was the absolute perfect getaway. The surroundings are stunning, such a picturesque area and beautiful and quiet. The garden area was amazing for our son to run around in and Steph and Marcus even allowed our son to play on a toy tractor I believe was one of their children’s, which he absolutely loved. The property was great, beautiful and rustic throughout but with beautiful modern touches, the bathroom was especially nice. Sun beaming through the window whilst getting ready in a morning was particularly nice. The hot tub was immaculate and clean and instructions were simple to follow, hosts had all of the wood prepared and ready for use aswell. Overall this has been one of my favourite stays. My family loved it and felt right at home. We went to Snowdon one day and Chester Zoo another, both within a short enough distance and the drive to Snowdon is particularly stunning. 10/10

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

A fantastic property with a high quality and luxurious finish. Peaceful, with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, despite being extremely close to shops and bars. Stayed with my three kids. Enjoyed the hot-tub and garden. The place was spotlessly clean and all of the appliances worked perfectly. A great sleep in very comfy beds, next to the sound of nature. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

This cottage was a joy to stay in and offered a relaxing, private and peaceful space during a hectic few days. Daniel was incredibly pleasant to communicate with and offered local knowledge and recommendations as well as some much appreciated special touches. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little gem in a pretty pocket of the Wirral. Thank you Daniel!

Brand New Luxurious Cottage

johnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A great few days, we would highly reccomend staying there. It needs to be noted if you are visiting Liverpool, then the nearest metro line station to the house is at Port Isaac and it is only a 4 minute taxi ride away from the house and the travel into Liverpool around 10 minutes away. Both cost either side. of £5 . No need for a car, next time we will come by train. Just ask Emma for the taxi company telephone numbers in advance. Also there is the bonus of a lovely garden in the sun. The welcome food pack was much appreciated too.

Unique and charming coastal cottage

SuzanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Very clean, cosy and quirky, with loads of thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome hamper, even a tin of biscuits for the dog. We wanted a coastal location with walks from the door, with places to eat and drink nearby, and we got just that. It was also beautifully quiet at night so we slept like logs. Loads to explore nearby by car, train and ferry. Totally recommend a New Brighton break! Thanks Kate. We had a fabulous time. :-)

Beautiful lodge - perfect for a couple of nights away with our 1 year old. Deborah was a great host - she provided a high chair for us for the stay which was much appreciated, along with lots of lovely touches (like milk, wine and beer). She provided local recommendations before we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. would definitely recommend for a getaway.

Converted Stable "Another Place" Formby Cottages

NoraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lesley and Pete are great hosts…friendly, welcoming and responsive. The cottage was comfortable and spotlessly clean and has all the basics you need on arrival…tea, coffee, milk, sugar and breakfast items. Formby village has a good variety of shops and places to eat and is just a short drive from the farm. The location itself is just idyllic, so quiet and peaceful, with horses, ponies, and dogs providing constant entertainment. Who needs tv when you can play fetch with Sadie the dog? Although a tv is provided too. Thank you Lesley and Pete! We hope to see you again next year when we visit our family in Formby.

The accommodation is lovely. As the “Nags Head” is literally just round the corner if you choose not to cook, evening or breakfast they are very accommodating. We used this place for the grand national. Getting an Uber there was easy. Trying to get one back proved more difficult. But the stay there was extremely comfortable 💖
