Very nice place right on Blue Lake. Perfect location for what we were looking for…bet it is even nicer in the summer as we really couldn’t enjoy the lake this time of year. Sara was very responsive and flexible. House was very clean and included a lot of little touches that were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Our 3-week stay in this cozy cottage was not only what we expected and hoped for, but it offered the ambiance of a real cottage. My husband and I grew up in the area and found this gem to be a wonderful spot for our time with friends and family. Bailey and Michael were especially responsive with any questions or concerns we had which made us feel totally comfortable. We absolutely loved the time spent here and realized that 4 weeks would have been even better than 3. Whereas a summer visit at this home would have been a wonderful experience with access to the channel and the lake, we chose to come here in the Fall season and all that the season has to offer. We were not disappointed. Most of our time "at home" was spent on the sunny porch with each meal, reading or writing in my journal. Equally enjoyable was the time spent on the deck. Our time at this special place is already full of happy and peaceful memories, of which we would like to repeat another time.

Had a relaxing long weekend with my wife and 3 kids. The kids loved fishing off the dock, playing in the sand, being out on the water on the kayaks, and wading in the water looking for clam's. fishing was good off the dock but didn't have any luck out on the water, but we saw them jumping so theyvare in there. Boat launch was easy to get innand out of. The location was super peaceful with a beautiful sunset over the water while enjoying the fire pit and making smores. House had everything we needed and was super clean and organized. Neighbor's were friendly and even tried to help me fix my boat while it was having issues. Host was responsive but also didn't need to chat much as everything was perfect. would love to stay here again for a long weekend!

Nice, quiet lake home with lake frontage. The inside has been beautifully remodeled- very cozy and clean, with gas fireplace. The kitchen area and bathrooms are complete and easy to use. Would recommend.

We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Beautiful home. The square footage may seem small, but it makes great use of the space. Only 5 minutes from the town and right on the lake. Clare was extremely helpful and responsive even over a holiday weekend.

this was a repeat stay for us. we have stayed several places on the barbee chain and this is a nice one. you wont be disappointed. we had 2 kids and 3 adults and theres plenty of elbow room. lots of nice ameneties like an awesome arcade and foos ball table. 90s kids rejoice for nba jam, and other childhood classics.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge. And the house is beautifully decorated and has all you would need for a weekend away.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

Beautiful cozy home. They went above and beyond decorating a little for our Christmas get away and even had a little tree put up. Would definitely stay again! The hotub was great to relax in while star gazing. Everything was fantastic!

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

Beautiful sunsets in the evenings! The house was perfect! No issues at all! Phillip was great at communicating! The neighbors were so friendly!!

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

Terri’s home is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfy and the extra throw blankets are a plus. Kitchen is well stocked.

We had such a phenomenal time at the cottage. The family that owns the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly made us feel at home and it’s an incredible location for a small get away. We’re very appreciative of the hospitality and opening their home

This was a great find. We will be back when come to visit our kids.
