Cottage vacation rentals in Cromarty Firth

Lovely, relaxing home with great swim spa and hot tub which our grown up sons loved! There is some road noise but not overly distracting. Kitchen was extremely well equipped - best I’ve had in a rental home! Lovely personal touches around the home made it feel very welcoming. It was the perfect retreat and we especially loved the sitting room - a great space to read, watch tv or chat - with plenty of comfortable seating. Would happily return.

This is a fantastic property. The wood fired hot tub and log burner were ace, and great ways to beat the winter cold. The kitchen/bathroom was clean and contemporary. The bedrooms were cosy. Communication with the host was top notch, Matthew even helped me find a missing Amazon parcel. The place was easy to find, and had detailed literature on the local amenities as well as how to use the facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place! We had a lovely 4 night stay in the cottage and enjoyed some beautiful weather and starry nights. Highly recommend the cottage - beautiful location and fitted out perfectly with everything you could need. The view from the hot tub is truly outstanding!

What an enchanting few days we spent at this lovely cottage. Immaculate, idyllic, quiet and beautiful surroundings. You could stay locally and walk to dinner or to Cawdor Castle. You’re also a short drive to Inverness and Nairn. And as for the hot tub? It’s hot and pristine and you will use it more than you’ll ever believe. At the end of a long day touring, you’ll move through the chilly night into the hot tub and stare at the stars. It’s ideal….

We had 6 adults and 4 kids for our stay and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating a family members 60th birthday. The cottage was as described, cozy but extremely spacious for such a big group. Hosts were very responsive and detailed. Great experience overall. :)

What a lovely cottage for our wee winter break. Immediately felt right at home and space was perfect for us (4 adults and 2 dogs) to relax for a few days. Cottage well laid out and equipped, beautifully furnished and decked out for christmas too. Location suited us really well - able to enjoy daily beach walks, buy tasty local food eating in and out, while reacquainting ourselves with all our favourite places on the Black Isle. Enjoyed the cosy stove and tho we didn't fire up the hottub during our December stay, everything was prep'd ready for use. Maybe next time, as we'll definitely be back. Thanks very much Eva. 💜 xxx

We all really enjoyed our stay. Alistair made us very welcome and the house is great for a group or extended family visit, with lots of space and everything you need to be comfortable.

we stayed at Maureen's lovely home for a Xmas break and she even had xxmas trees up. The house was very clean, modern with everything you would need. The house was warm with a cosy log burner included. This is a wonderful home and Maureen was a very attentive host. The house is located in lovely part of town, great place to stay.

Brett's cottage in Shandwick was cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return!

What a wonderful peaceful cosy stay, right in the heart of Morayshire. Exactly what was wanted, needed. Very helpful hosts. Beautiful setting, so quiet in the mornings.

Great place. Toasty cosy fire and awesome location for the best dog walks! Also super comfy bed with firm mattress and nice pillows. Really hope to be able to return!

Gorgeous house, very peaceful and has everything you need. The area has lots to do, if you have young kids I'd strongly recommend the Nairn museum and the Tarbot museum, both of which are extremely welcoming of kids and brilliant places to visit. Nairn beach is also great. Overall we had a fabulous time.

A fantastic stay, cosy and peaceful. This was a perfect location to get out and about to see all we wanted from Culloden down to Braemar. The cottage was warm, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Our welcome basket kept us in treats throughout our stay alongside other thoughtful touches. Thankyou - we will visit again and can highly recommend to others.

We loved our stay here. After a week in hotels the space for everyone to spread out was great. The shops were close and walking along the river and Loch Ness was peaceful. We were happy to have the full kitchen and laundry right in our space. We wish we could have spent more time there and would love to return someday.

We had such a lovely stay @Nana’s cottage the cottage has everything you would need & spotlessly clean . David was great at communicating and gave lots of information. Findhorn is a Beautiful area to visit lots of good eating places and very friendly people. We will be back & Highly recommend to Family & friends

we had a lovely stay at Abby's cottage. the cottage was super clean, cosy and comfortable and everything we needed was there. The cottage is very private and its surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Abby was very friendly and available if we needed anything. There's plenty of beautiful walking routes nearby and when you travel by car there's even more gorgeous nature to explore. Would definitely recommend!

Well appointed cottage in a lovely village setting. Easy access to Cairngorm national park. Claire was easy to deal with and communication was good. House was clean and described accurately . Pub just down the road. I totally recommend this property.

Pristine and well thought through cottage. Felt right at home. Very generous host, enough toilet paper, dishwasher tablets etc…

Simon and Sharon were friendly, communicative and helpful. The property was beautiful with nice modern features and a testament to their hard work. Great location, it was only 15 min walk into town, and close to walks and other nearby attractions. Will definitely look to stay here again.
