The property was clean, quirky and homely which was just what we expected. We already knew the location well and there were plenty of shops, eateries and supermarkets. It was just what our family needed to be together in the evenings after a family bereavement. Jane was lovely, friendly and very responsive despite being abroad at the time. There was everything you could wish for provided and a great dining room with drinks fridge for eating together. Thanks Jane for letting us stay in your unique home.❤️

Perfect for what we needed. Very close to city centre, beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen was clean with all the amenities needed to make us feel right at home.

Great place to spend a few days! Amazing location to The Ashes Barn wedding venue as well as lovely local parks. The accommodation was small but adequate, loved the porch area for all bags and dog stuff! Bedroom definitely big enough for a travel cot and a plus having a bath to clean the little one! Have recommended it to others already :)

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

We had a lovely time staying at Frog Manor. Richard was very helpful and flexible and the home and grounds were vast and beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there on a hot weekend so we spent a lot of time at the outside patio area, where there is a hot tub, outside bathroom and a great outdoor cooking space with a gas bbq, outdoor sinks and counter space. All the bedrooms were lovely and spacious, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Overall I couldn’t recommend Frog Manor more!

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Bye – it was the perfect spot for us, especially with family nearby. We also made the most of the area, visiting charming tea rooms (thanks to Gillon’s great recommendation), Chester Zoo, and other local attractions. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and ideal for our family. Our children especially loved the garden and playing with Margot, the lovely family dog. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with all we needed. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and helpful, yet gave us plenty of space to enjoy our stay. We’d highly recommend Hampton Bye and will definitely be returning!

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful stay at the burrow, the barn is gorgeous inside and has everything you need, had a real homely feel and was spotless,we didnt want to leave, the kids loved the hottub, great stay all round ♥️

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away.
