We’ve been staying here for the last 3 years and it’s been wonderful. It feels like our own place. The host response quickly with any questions we have had. If you’re looking for nice clean place, peace, and quiet this is the place to stay! Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely home and location. Exactly the way it is described. Amanda and Joy went above and beyond to make our stay feel cozy and welcoming. Great communicators! A bonus is they provided everything we needed to make our pets stay comfy too!

The Turkey Farmhouse was more spacious than I expected. Everything was well stocked--dishes and utensils, towels, board games. There were also spaces to sit quietly separate from the main areas in the house. As a Gen Xer, I really enjoyed the arcade games as well.

Lovely place, quiet, peaceful cove. House has everything. The screened decks are stellar for enjoying the natural beauty. Bird watchers try the 3rd level, no screen and in the treetops. Very dog friendly property. Kind and attentive host. We had a great time and hope to come back.

Amazing place! The house had a lot of history but plenty of sleep space for our family. The Land was breathtaking! We will be back!

The home was so cute & very clean & homey!!!! We were very comfortable & enjoyed the space. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Loved that there was a tub!!!! Highly recommend.

We loved staying here. Our hosts are beyond kind and very responsive. There are small things that make the place feel like home, such as kids toys and crayons for families, great kitchen appliances, super comfy towels, and seasonal decor. The bed was comfortable. We had a small issue on arrival, but Kristofer fixed it right away and with graciousness. Super responsive and willing to go above and beyond. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the region. My family would stay again.

This home exactly what we were hoping for! Great kitchen and plenty of space to gather with family. Comfy beds!!! Brenda was so nice and super helpful, and really went out of her way to make sure our family felt at home. We’ll stay here again on our next visit, for sure!

The perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway! I really enjoyed walking through the woods, playing fetch with their sweet pup, and soaking in the hot tub after hiking in the nearby Shawnee National Forest. Kevin was super helpful and responsive. I would love to come back sometime!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Beautiful and extra clean! My favorite airbnb so far. It would be a wonderful summer vacation place for families to enjoy all the amenities such as fishing pond and pool. And close enough to Shawnee National Forest and Marion for different adventures.

What wonderful, peaceful retreat! We were looking for somewhere to unplug and we found it! I honestly can't wait to go back.

Kevin's property was perfect. He and his family were very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance with the RV. We came in late our first night but with Kevin's instructions had no problem finding the spot. the location is very peaceful. We wanted to do some hikes and see fall foliage and Kevin's place was a perfect base camp. We will definitely be back. I'm already shopping the idea with a few other families to find a weekend when we can rent all 3 RVs!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, family and dog friendly, design focused place to stay, this is your spot. The garden was incredible with spring ephemerals and flowering cherry blossoms blowing in the wind. This was the perfect home base for exploring wineries and the Shawnee National Forest. The loft was the perfect spot to set up our young toddler’s pack-n-play, though fair warning that there is little sound insulation from the kitchen and main living to the upstairs while your little one is sleeping. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this glorious pool house again with our babe in tow! 10/10

Kristine’s house was just as described. The space was great for gathering together to visit and relax. The pool was a great bonus! We would definitely choose this property again when staying in the area.

The cottage was lovely, the land was peaceful, and we found everything perfectly clean and exactly as described!

This is a truly magical location that offers a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It's easy to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature right on the property through forest bathing, and it's also conveniently located near state parks, as well as various food and drink options. Bonnie and Paul have created a stunning, private space where I felt completely safe as a solo traveler, knowing they lived nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in the future.

The hosts were flexible, friendly, and responsive. I have never experienced better. They were flexible with an emergency last minute booking. They made my entire trip to Illinois worth it. Thank you!

Quaint little cabin in a very quiet area, but close to Carbondale IL. Place was very clean, easy to find and exactly as described. Great place for price! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

We had a fantastic stay at the treehouse. It was a great homebase as we explored the hikes and wineries that Southern Illinois has to offer. We loved the location being right near the Panthers Den hike, Blue Sky, and Feather Hills. Many other things were with 15-20 minutes. We were especially grateful to be able to bring our dog. He loves hiking and wineries too. Such a peaceful location surrounded by the trees and creek. This was our third trip to Southern Illinois and would definitely book this place again.

In town for a hunting trip with a group of friends, house was perfect for the occasion. Will be back!
