Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cowlitz River

this is our second year having Thanksgiving at this air bnb. Both years has been great and they are extremely responsive. The beds are comfortable, we cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner there without issues. The house is clean, quiet and comfortable, with the 2 living rooms it is plenty of space. we set up the video games upstairs for the kids and they could stream movies from our lap to onto the projector screen. We did crafts at the dining room table and had fun in the backyard. highly recommend

Tim is super friendly and helpful in the extreme. There was nothing missing and they went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible for enjoying our family for which we were grateful. It is a basement apartment space with the owners living above so perhaps be aware of that. There are large windows with a great view so it doesn’t feel much like a basement. We only point it out so future tenants aren’t surprised like we were. The hosts are wonderful and if you prefer a hosted place you should seriously consider this one.

This is a nice, out of the way (but still easy to navigate) stay with good, responsive hosts. The amenities at Sammy's place (hot tub, fire pit, pool table) are all really nice and easy to use. Check-in and check-out we're a breeze with clear instructions. Recommend this spot for good-sized family or friend get-together.

We had a great get together with friends for the New Year and Jennifer's place was everything we were looking for. Lots of space for a large group, great location, beautiful surroundings. Instructions on how to find the home and check-in were super helpful. Love this place and need to return in the summer to get more lake time! A+ host and experience.

We loved Archna's place. It was warm, clean & welcoming. It was a home away from home. I look forward to using her spot again.

I've stayed here twice now and each time it has been lovely. It's a perfect place to relax, cook, sit on the deck and enjoy the river go by, or read a book by the fire.

Overall, My friends and I enjoyed this quiet getaway weekend and this house matched our needs! I would recommend this place for anyone looking to do the same! 10/10 experience

Had a great early-fall weekend at Shelley's place on Mayfield Lake. We chose this location for the kayaking options nearby, and they did not disappoint! The house itself has a cozy cabin-like feel, and the deck was a fantastic place to hang out on a warm afternoon. Definitely the kind of place where the weekend goes by too fast--we didn't want to leave!

This was our 2nd stay at Christine & Martin’s place. They have a very comfortable, clean, & restful space in the lower level of their home. We felt that nothing was lacking, had everything we need & more! We especially enjoyed the deer coming through their yard - most everyday walking right by us sitting on the patio! The views of the gorge were great & we love hearing the train whistles in the distance! Their rental will not disappoint!

I stayed a month+ with Mindee and I have ZERO regrets! The space was perfect for me and the cats, the kitchen was well-sized for the space and had the things I needed. The axe throwing was a ton of fun and Mindee and her family are incredibly welcoming and friendly. If I'm ever in need of a place to stay in Vancouver again I know where I'm going. Perfect location, within walking distance of food, coffee, drinks, groceries, and a dispensary.

Melissa and Dan were very helpful, they gave us recommendations for hiking places and accomodated all our needs. They turned on the air conditioning a couple of hours before we arrived which was very much appreciated after a long drive. The chalet is close to their house but we did not hear any noise for the two days we were there. We really enjoyed buying fresh produce from nearby farms and cooking in the well-equiped kitchen. In the mornings we went walking in the beautiful shaded woods along the river, and spent the evenings chilling on the patio breathing the peace and quiet. We recommend this place to rest and enjoy nature.

Hidden gem of a place. Attached to the main house but private. Interior was better than most hotels I've stayed at. Enjoyed the quiet, private atmosphere. It is off the main highway so you get the green landscape and escape the busy downtown vibe. Come and enjoy the Peace!

Great place. Nicely decorated with good amenities. The spa on the property is amazing. Close to shopping and restaurants, as well as other outdoor activities in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Great little spot to stay. Less than 10 minutes from downtown and the waterfront. Close to a park. And close to a few bars. In the first 5 minutes we were there we knew we'd be returning to stay. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The street it was on was quiet and they had room for our dog to join too. Highly recommend.

Mighty little cabin with everything you would need. It was so cute, and I loved the little rustic decorations. It was full of surprises. The best part was the pretty creek in the back.

Erika and Tye were very helpful and responsive and kind! The place was absolutely beautiful. Nice touches and cozy. Only suggestion would be curtains on the bedroom door and bathroom! Other than that, excellent. Thanks! Definitely will be back.

Paula’s place was just what we needed. To get away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful river front Private oasis. Clean comfortable home with everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely perfect basecamp for Mt Rainier.

My girlfriend and I loved this cabin! It was small and cozy which is exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was amazing. Extremely private and peaceful. If you’re looking for a nice, clean place with a very nice and hospitable host, you found the right spot. :) Can’t wait to come again sometime when it’s warmer to take advantage of the river and all the hikes and scenery around Morton!

My week at Camp Alder was just what I needed — a very relaxing getaway in the woods! The cabin was what I expected and more. It was clean, warm and welcoming. I really hope I will be able to find time for another stay in the future.

I loved this Aframe so much! The location is perfect, it’s In the forest near Mt Ranier so you get peace and beauty! The cabin had all the amenities you may need and more! Movies, games, and outdoor fun! We loved the hot tub and fire pit and grill, made for a perfect winter getaway! The host was very friendly and helpful! The cabin was clean and cozy! 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely charming cabin with excellent amenities. Fantastic communication, perfect location and a great value. I cannot recommend highly enough!
