The Bunker was perfect for our weekend away. A bedroom each for the 4 of us - that can sometimes, be hard to find. It was comfy and warm. Well equipped kitchen - everything you could think of. Near Drogheda, if you want a town, but also very close to the beautiful coast line.

We had a really lovely stay. Stunning setting. Arrived quite late on the first night and was slightly chilly (had been particularly cold that week) but very quickly warmed up. Perfect set up for us! Highly recommend!

We came here for a visit, we found Emer property very nice, every thing is available in her property and it is a very beautiful property. We came for two days but next time definitely we for seven days We enjoy alot Emer's nature is very nice she always stood up for us if we needed anything, and welcomed us nicely. house had all the things that we would need in a house, she has built such a beautiful house that you will not miss any thing and she has done all this keeping in mind each and every thing, so we really enjoyed staying in the property. The place was exactly what it looked like in the pictures, if not even better. Was really clean and perfect for a gathering. Patrick was really helpful and a great host - was easy to get into the place and was well set up. Would come back again!

A very comfortable unit with a beautiful view of the water from the living room. If you want to get away from everything, this is your place. One tiny, but adorable grocery store & a restaurant with a waiting time of 2 months for a reservation (so plan ahead or forget it as a dining option). Aside from a small harbor, that seemed to be the extent of the town. It was perfect for me but may not be for everyone. Another thing to note is they do not have WiFi and I had to run around the unit to find cell service (the bathroom was best lol).Not to take away from the rental, I loved it, & the listing did not mention WiFi so this error was on me. I just wanted to make sure anyone renting the unit would know in advance that they will not be able to use a portable WiFi generator or hotspot. At least not with Verizon. Another carrier may have better coverage. I loved the home and gave it 5stars so this information should not take away from it. Just important info for planning your trip.

Alison is such a great host, proactively messaging to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The cabin is stunning very clean and located right in the woodlands with stunning loch views. Alison gave exact instructions for check in and it was very easy to get into the cabin. Plenty of games DVD’s to occupy the evenings as well as a host of TV channels to chose from. The cabin was spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels available. Definitely a 10/10 will be returning again!

We had a lovely stay here.Saoirse was very helpful with everything.The heating was on for our arrival which was lovely too.There are shops,takeaways,resturants and friendly pub very close by.You have everything you could possibly need in the cottage.We will definetly be returning.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lock Cottage. The house is so quaint and traditional with a fire stove to enjoy a lovely winter weekend. Can only imagine how much more beautiful it would be in summer and be able to sit outside. The views of the river and fields are stunning. You can even watch herds of deer graze the fields across the water from the living room. Will be back.
