Lovely, comfortable, cosy, house in a great location, across the road from the beach and accessible to shops & excellent restaurants. Kay is quick to respond to queries. Blackrock is a lovely seaside village with a wonderful community feel. Read your book on the beach, join the outdoors yoga class there or chase the tide for a swim -it goes out quite far- timing is everything! I would do this trip again, at any time of year. Thanks Kay

This house exceeded expectations, we really wanted to spend time here and felt totally relaxed and peaceful there. The beautiful veranda looking out over the harbour was amazing and the views and changing light were just spellbinding. It’s a very special place.

Stunning location right on the beach with amazing views. The beach house was great with everything we needed as a family of 5. Great location for visiting surrounding local towns and Dublin is easy to get to on public transport. Niamh was an excellent host and responded quickly to messages. We absolutely loved our trip to Rush and we would love to visit again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation. It was the perfect retreat to spend time walking on the beach and enjoying the views. I was able to complete a day trip from the train station only a 10 minute drive away. The house was warm with central heating and plenty of space. I would recommend and happily return to stay again.

lovely spot for walks and sea air. Great whatever the season.. lovely location and this time we availed of the log burner. Underfloor heating made it cosy too.

Had a fantastic weekend in a truly unique property. The views are unrivaled within a very cosy environment. Nicola was super responsive and helpful with a couple of queries and went above and beyond for her guests. Also, having one of the best pubs in Ireland (Lily Finnegans) within 15 mins walk is a huge bonus! We'll definitely be back and can't recommend enough! 😀

We loved our stay at Katy's place in Rush. It was amazingly peaceful and private, and a very nice, quiet beach was within a minute walk. The town of Rush was also very nice, and the nearby pub had fantastic food. We would certainly stay here again.

Mary and Jason are terrific hosts and they have a really unique and beautiful air bnb. Perched on the Irish sea, it's perfect for views, long walks on the beach, close to town, restaurants, pubs, etc. Both Jason and Mary went out of their way to be helpful and I'd wholeheartedly recommend their place anytime!

Beautiful cosy home on the beach in the lovely town of Blackrock. It can’t be beaten for comfort and location and Alison was a pleasure to deal with. Blackrock is a surprisingly happening little town with many little gems to check out. I’d highly recommend staying at Alison’s place.

A very comfortable unit with a beautiful view of the water from the living room. If you want to get away from everything, this is your place. One tiny, but adorable grocery store & a restaurant with a waiting time of 2 months for a reservation (so plan ahead or forget it as a dining option). Aside from a small harbor, that seemed to be the extent of the town. It was perfect for me but may not be for everyone. Another thing to note is they do not have WiFi and I had to run around the unit to find cell service (the bathroom was best lol).Not to take away from the rental, I loved it, & the listing did not mention WiFi so this error was on me. I just wanted to make sure anyone renting the unit would know in advance that they will not be able to use a portable WiFi generator or hotspot. At least not with Verizon. Another carrier may have better coverage. I loved the home and gave it 5stars so this information should not take away from it. Just important info for planning your trip.

Mary and Jason were great communicators. Everything was clear,y explained and check in/out was very smooth. their place literally right on Rush's north Beach. there's a cute harbour and a local pub at the end of the beach (about a 10 minute stroll). You walk into the town centre in about 15 -20 minutes.

Absolutely incredible stay, the pictures don’t do the place enough justice it is stunning and so much bigger than we were expecting! The host was very responsive and very helpful, the lock boxes made life so easy for check in and out and meant we didn’t need to worry about keys when we left. The space had all the amenities we needed, a stunning location so close to restaurants and local bars if you wanted a more chill holiday but also very easy to get the train or a taxi into the centre of Dublin. Cannot recommend enough

This was not a typical rental for us as we selected the place to be close to family that we visit each summer, without having to burden them as hosts in their own homes. We know the area well enough to know that there are not many rentals at the quality of this and very few in Howth at all! It truly was “home away from home” and could not have been nicer! The modern renovation done on the main floor is spectacular all the while keeping the charm of what is a very charming traditional Dublin house. The open plan in the kitchen and back garden was heavenly and the easy walk to a private beach is a huge bonus. We caught the bus and DART into town easily (a 5 and 12 minute walk respectively) and the grocery store —5 min away by car- has everything you could possibly need. Another fun bonus was the vegetable garden! I just wish I was coming back when the tomatoes were in season. Rest assured this place is as perfect as it shows online and we hope to come back someday.
