We had a wonderful stay at Aisling's home in Clogherhead. The location is spectacular-- just a quick walk from the beach and the Headlands walk. The village itself has everything visitors could need: a local market for groceries, good restaurants and takeaway nearby, a good coffee shop on the beach, and an excellent pub just across the street. It's also a short drive from Termonfeckin and Drogheda, with easy access to Dublin or Belfast by car or train. The house itself is a lovely, authentic thatched roof cottage. Our family of five found it to be a great home base for our holiday visiting family in the area. Aisling was great in responding to any questions that arose. She even arranged an early check-in when our plans changed at the last minute. All in all, it was a great stay!

Absolutely loved this cottage! Very cosy and walking distance from everything you need. The host is very helpful and responsive. I can’t wait to come back here.

very enjoyable stay for a girls night in. hosts had a lovely bottle of prosecco and hot chocolate tray ready for our arrival. They even dropped up matches for us for the firepit when we couldn't find them in the house - above and beyond what we expected. Very remote location which was perfect for a girlie catch up after Christmas.

We spent 3 nights in Sallyann's house. It is located in a very nice environment. We enjoyed the walks on the beach and on the cliffs around Port Oriel. The house was very clean and it had everything we needed. We also liked the goats, cats and donkey in the farm nearby. We strongly recommend Sallyann's place.

We loved everything about the house, it is obvious that a lot of thought was put into the design and layout of the property, beautifully furnished and decorated, the view from the decking is amazing, a great eye for detail, within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants, Carlingford and the surrounding area is beautiful, our first time there, without doubt we will return, one of the best places we stayed, do yourself a favour and book yourself a stay here, thank you Orla ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed over the Christmas period and couldn’t recommend it enough! Caroline had put lots of effort into making our stay as comfortable as possible and the lots of thoughtful details were very much appreciated. We had the best Christmas stay and would definitely come back again

John was excellent to deal with, very quick to respond to any queries we had. It was a lovely cottage, very cozy, peaceful and beautiful scenery. If you need a peaceful getaway to just check out of the normal pace of life this is a little gem 💎
