We had a lovely stay. the air bnb was lovely and spotlessly clean. hot tub was fab!

We loved our stay. The place has the beauty and peace of the country and only ten minutes drive from the amenities of Dundalk town. Bonus points for the kids with toys and games in the house, cows in the farm across the road and a bunny called Oreo. There is also a swing set and ample space to run around the yard. The house itself had everything we needed and was very cosy and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen essentials were also very welcome. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay at the cottage was amazing! It was the most peaceful and relaxing getaway we’ve ever had. The setting on the river is so tranquil and the home itself is unbelievably cosy. There has been thought put into every detail, the space is instantly homely and luxurious. We loved every moment we had at Fane River Retreat. The hosts Edmund and Ann Marie, were the friendliest and most welcoming people. They couldn’t do enough for us! They treat their guests like family and have such warmth. They recommended a beautiful bar about 10 mins away called Hearty’s Cottage Pub. It was brilliant and the people equally as friendly. Such a beautiful community and Airbnb, we will definitely be booking to return. Thank you for such a lovely stay ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Aisling's home in Clogherhead. The location is spectacular-- just a quick walk from the beach and the Headlands walk. The village itself has everything visitors could need: a local market for groceries, good restaurants and takeaway nearby, a good coffee shop on the beach, and an excellent pub just across the street. It's also a short drive from Termonfeckin and Drogheda, with easy access to Dublin or Belfast by car or train. The house itself is a lovely, authentic thatched roof cottage. Our family of five found it to be a great home base for our holiday visiting family in the area. Aisling was great in responding to any questions that arose. She even arranged an early check-in when our plans changed at the last minute. All in all, it was a great stay!

Lovely cottage for 2 people. It was a very cold weekend but the heat is set at a lovely comfortable level. Also the wood fired burner is lovely. The shower isn’t great and there isn’t full supply of shampoos etc as mentioned in the listing. That’s fine but better not to include it in the info and then people will know to bring some.

This stay truly exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing detailed instructions, easy check in and even a few local recommendations that made my stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to prepare meals with ease, and the living area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down. What really set this Airbnb apart, though, was the attention to detail. The host had thoughtfully provided little touches like a welcome basket with snacks, and even a selection of games and plenty of apps to choose from on the tv. The location was also ideal with breath taking views . Will definitely be back . Thank you for having us .

Jackie was absolutely amazing, every little detail at the Mountain House made it perfect, I cannot reccommend highly enough! So beyond glad we found this place and will 100% return!

Fabulous property, and ideal for our family New Year celebrations. Great living space, bedroom layout was good (easily accommodated 12 of us) and the ‘treats’ on arrival were an unexpected bonus. The hot tub & BBQ were also excellent.
