Mamore Cottage (Mickey's)

GeorginaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A beautiful cottage with incredible scenery. The hosts were excellent and very communicative. The space was tidy and cosy, lovely for the few days we were there. A massive plus for being pet friendly. The shower has weak pressure but hard to expect more in a traditional cottage. It's a real back to basics experience with turf fire and flagstone floor. Would highly recommend for adventuring to Donegal.

TOWER VIEW Large family Beachside holiday home

Anne MarieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
loved this place. Eibhlin had left a dog bed, bowls and a bag of treats for our dog. most dog-friendly stay ever! House had everything - great kitchen- I even baked bread! We had some lovely walks and swam in the sea. We were 3 couples getting away from it all and this was perfect. One of us was on crutches and the access in the house was perfect. we want to go back and take it family :-) Thanks ++

Beautiful place. Stayed at the start of February, thought the cottage would be quite cold but heated up rightly. Really loved having no signal, and the dogs enjoyed the freedom. John was a lovely host, and his wife and child were lovely as well.

Saltwater House: Fahan. Views. Luxury. Sleeps 10.

KatieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved this home! We’ve hosted for years ourselves, so fully appreciated this home & how well kept it is. The house was immaculately clean, great towels & bedding, super comfy beds, etc etc. We had a group of 8 adults & 2 kids and found the home had plenty of space, cutlery, crockery & everything else we needed. Hosts were gracious enough to give us a slightly earlier checkin because of our travel & arrival time & we really appreciated that. The views from the home are incredible & we found ourselves cancelling our dinner reservations so that we could just spend more time together in the house. Would highly recommend this home to anyone considering booking - we will absolutely be back!

This place is a gem. The view and area are breathtaking. The house feels like a family home and we were instantly comfortable. We were traveling with our family, which were a group of 10, and we were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window will have you wanting to do dishes all morning. Instructions for everything and and easy check out process. Rathmullen has a great restaurant 10 minutes down the road. There is also some great sights like the lighthouse 30 minutes away and The Way of the Cross. Letterkenny is 30 minutes away for shopping, eating out and any other need you have. We will never forget our special time here, and neither will you.

Silver Strand Lodge

TaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely beautiful place in an amazing setting! The scenery was stunning. Silver strand beach is across the street and you can see the Ocean from the large front window. Slieve league is just a short drive away and is a must see! It was one of the most breathtaking hikes I’ve taken. The place is very clean and had everything we needed. It was really nice to come back to the electric fireplace every night. Declan and Clare were so friendly and were always quick to respond if we needed anything. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Our stay at the cabin was great! We really enjoyed the front row view of the ocean. And the sound the waves make on the rocks is beautiful. The cabin provides anything you could need. It's quiet and cozy. Easkay made the checkin and checkout very easy. She provided lots of infos about the neighborhood and good food tips :) If you're into surfing, this is a great place to either surf yourself or watch all the other surfers have fun!

It’s a beautiful house in an amazing location, just a short walk down to Dooey Beach. The house was very stylish and comfortable and very well equipped. The views of the beach and surrounding area are absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed our meal and live music at McCafferty’s pub and especially the beach sauna pod and swimming in the sea. A wonderful place to experience the Wild Atlantic Way!

Incredible stay!! Place looks exactly as the pictures show and was very clean and tidy. We had three couples staying here and there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for privacy. The shared spaces have stunning views - rainbows every day! - and provided room for games and meals at home. Feargal was incredibly responsive and attentive to the few questions we asked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place is amazing! The house has so much room and the bedrooms are all very big with en-suites. The living areas were perfect for our mums 60th birthday and we were able to fit everyone around the table! The location is the best bit, over looking the bay and the sun rise was unbelievable. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone. Natalie was also super helpful and was in communication throughout planning the stay
