Vacation rentals with a hot tub in County Cavan

We had a wonderful stay at Sheelin Huts (Blue Hut). The morning views were stunning, with no houses nearby, letting us enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. Gary was a fantastic host—always available and quick to help. He also recommended visiting some fascinating historical tombs and churches. The hut was perfect, equipped with everything we needed, including milk, cereals, wine glasses, and cheese knives. The bed was cozy with plenty of pillows, and the TV above it was great for watching Netflix. The bathroom was spotless, and the hut’s design and furnishings were beautiful, clean, and fresh. The hut was warm, and the weather was ideal. Nearby pubs, especially Farrellys, were great for food and drinks. Gary’s farm and cows added to the charm, though we didn’t have time to visit them. As residents of Dundalk, this was the perfect peaceful getaway, and we didn’t want to leave. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Sabina and David were very welcoming hosts throughout our stay. On arrival they talked us through and showed us where everything was located. They were always quickly responsive with messages during our stay. The cottage was amazing, and they included many little touches such as a homemade bread loaf and bottle of Prosecco, which really added to our stay. The amenities in the spa were perfect for our stay. The hot tub, sauna and yoga room were the perfect escape from reality, which allowed us to relax fully on our weekend away. We throughly enjoyed our opportunity to take the kayaks out on Lough Sillan and explore a beautiful part of the country. Overall our stay over exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends, and we look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you Sabina and Dave!!

it was great experience, fran is really friendly, there is no other houses around and its really quiet area , hot tub was great and house was absolutely perfect. we will definitely be back .

Great cosy house in a very peaceful area. The hot tub over looking the river is a great plus. Mark was very responsive and made the whole experience very easy.

cant thank fran enough, the place was cozy and very warm. beds are very comfortable. if anyone is considering staying here you will regret missing this hidden gem. can't wait to return in the summer to take advantage of the lake opposite the property!

The pod is amazing. Such a tranquil location. The jacuzzi washes the worries away. Due to a storm the electricity went during our stay but Maria went above and beyond to ensure we were still comfortable( giving us wood for a fire and providing hot water for tea & coffee). Would definitely recommend for a peaceful get away and shall be returning in the near future!!

We absolutely LOVED Alberta Lodge. We were a group of 9 women looking for a relaxing weekend of quality time together and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We didn't leave the house all weekend - we spent half of it in the amazing covered hot tub and the rest lounging around in the huge comfy sofas. There was loads of space to enjoy ourselves inside, and the outdoors was simply stunning - like something from a movie. Those views!! The beds were super comfy and everybody felt well rested leaving. We will be back!!

We had a lovely time at Claire and Karl's place. such a peaceful location with beautiful views over the lake. The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Tasteful decorated with impeccable attention to detail. The hot tub was an added treat 🤍 Would highly recommend as somewhere to relax or as a base when visiting Leitim.
