We had a lovely stay, the cottage was exactly as described, it was well appointed and very clean. The location was awesome for exploring the north coast and Marguerite was a very accommodating and welcoming host. We had a lovely time, we’d recommend the cottage and if we’re back this way, we’ll stop again. Thanks for having us, we had a lovely time - this was our favourite stop on our road trip so far!

This was the second time our family stayed at the cottage and it was again excellent. It is a spacious and well kept property and ideally situated for Ballycastle and the wider Glens and North Coast area. Noelene is a great host who responds immediately to all queries. We stayed over the Halloween period and Noelene had even hidden a trick or treat style treasure hunt replete with sweets around the house - which was a lovely gesture that our young kids thoroughly enjoyed! Highly recommended.

This is the loveliest place to stay, even nicer than the pictures. Jenny and her family couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and the gardens are outstanding and peaceful. lovely having the wood burner and the place was always warm and cozy. Kitchen fitted out with everything you need and a really great place to stay for a weekend and Jenny kindly supplied homemade marmalade butter bread and OJ. Many great restaurants and cafés within five minutes.

Ideally situated with main road networks very close by. However, the property was located in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. It well suited our needs providing us with the relaxation we sought for a short break away from the mundane. The barn has been beautifully and lovingly restored making it a quirky holiday home. It felt home from home with all needs catered for. Judith was very communicative online without being intrusive. It was a pleasure to meet Barry, having a chat with him and meeting Cooper the dog and being introduced to Bill and Ben the lawnmower men 🤣 (robot mowers). The names tickled us!🤣 Thanks both for a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

We had a lovely stay at The Bothy. April was a fabulous host and all the little extras she put on made it an extra special family holiday. There were scones with cream and jam, homemade soda bread and the best marmalade I have ever tasted (and I don’t usually like marmalade) waiting for us on arrival, as well as age appropriate toys for the kids (she messaged before arrival to check their ages). It is also a great location to explore the north coast of Northern Ireland.

Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful blend of cosy charm and great amenities. This house is equipped for all occasions and all weathers! Nestled above Dundalk Bay it offers mountain walks, great views and comfortable accommodation. The cottage is more rustic than the barn - a combination of both is a winner for family groups. We loved the sauna after a long walk. And we were delighted with the welcome and the communication during our stay. Nothing was too much bother and we were made to feel like locals. Thanks a million.

We had a wonderful stay at Tessa’s cottage. It is well equipped (washing machine was a bonus!) and has everything you could possibly need to stay for a longer trip. It is a beautiful location to relax, cook, read and enjoy some tranquil time with friends or family. The cottage is extremely clean and very quirky. We loved the layout of the bedrooms and made use of the additional trundle. All the beds were super comfortable and the black out blinds were helpful for keeping little sleepers in bed a bit longer! Tessa has gorgeous style and the cottage is just above place to stay. The outside space would be absolutely beautiful to make use of in the warmer months. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, lots of walks, parks and the aquarium. There is only one bathroom which is downstairs (no bath) but it is extremely spacious with a beautiful finish. Tessa is a very friendly, considerate and proactive host who really couldn’t do enough for us during our stay.

She was always contactable and helpful and was so thoughtful with the welcome box of snacks. We had a stunning time at the loft and would be delighted to visit again.

Tracey and Ian were wonderful hosts. You felt so welcome and at home in their perfect annexe. It had everything you ever needed and more. Tracey left the most welcoming basket of all you needed. We were so appreciative of the goodies we received. Such generous and thoughtful hosts. Ian even dropped us off in the town on our first night and gave us some pointers as where to go and places to visit. The home was beautiful with the most comfiest bed. Cabra Cottage is absolutely stunning! We arrived on a cold, rainy day to find the cottage already warm, cosy, and so welcoming. There were cute Easter decorations, a bottle of bubbles, and some snacks waiting for us which was such a thoughtful touch. It felt like a home away from home, the kind of place where you can just switch off, light the fire, and fully relax. The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. Having breakfast the next morning while listening to the sheep and lambs in the nearby field was really special. A little hidden sanctuary in the countryside. Thank you so much John & Grace!

Chris was very lovely and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and pubs and also very flexible with check out times . The jacuzzi was lovely and had a great time there. There was fresh bread, butter and milk! Also the place was decorated for our anniversary which I was not expecting so me and my girlfriend were very happy and will decently be staying again. Magical, creative, beautiful space and hosts! Sinead had Irish bread, homemade jam, and Irish butter waiting for us. But it was the first view of the inside of the cottage that captured our hearts. The cottage has a private entrance near the garden that Andy attends to with care. When we put down our bags we felt transported! The magnificent fireplace is festooned with colorful flags that add a touch of whimsy and delight to the well appointed space. Sinead’s art decorates the walls and sets the mood full of greens, blues and whites. Every single item in the home was lovingly selected and placed with an artist’s eye. Plenty of space with two charming bedrooms and a new bathroom. We had fires in the stove. Lots of blankets and books for rainy days. The kitchen is open and a perfect design. The walls are white - hand limed by the hosts! Sinead gave us art lessons in her bright large studio. Yes, the cottage is a dream!

Darin was a great host - very responsive and arranged early check-in and late check-out for us, for a small extra charge. The property is well located for lots of nearby bars and restaurants and was clean, with a nice balcony and view. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Darin’s. We spent the week end with our 2 toddlers and our little dog. Botanic avenue is less than 5min walks with lots for cafes and restaurants and botanic gardens. Darin was very friendly and smooth communication throughout our stay. The place is big, and very good living area for the kids. Appartment is very quiet as well. City center is just 20mn walks. We’d recommend Darin’s place 100% for a city break in Belfast!

This converted barn is in a great location, just a few minutes drive from the local village (Omeath - with a great pub which is child and dog friendly!). Also well located if visiting Carlingford. The house itself has everything you need and is set in expansive gardens (perfect for our dog). Samantha & Terry are great hosts - very welcoming and we had great communication from the moment we booked. They were very accommodating for our 1.5yr old son, with highchair, travel cot and toys provided. Highly recommend their place - hope to stay again soon.

We stayed in The Green for my wife's 50th birthday celebrations - ahead of our visit we received really good communication from the host with clear instructions for arrival and the amenities in the house and surrounding areas. The house itself was fantastic, super clean and lived up to our expectations. The golf theme is great! Our host was agreeable to some flexibility about check-in and check-out, which was very helpful as we had family travelling from England to join us. Highly recommend a stay here - we cant wait to get back and enjoy another super weekend in the house!

Had a wonderful week staying at Geoff and Paula’s comfortable cottage. We immediately felt at home and the welcome basket to get us started - bread, butter, etc. - was much appreciated after a long drive over. The location - right next to Strangford Loch - was quiet and convenient for visiting attractions in Down and Antrim especially, although nothing’s too far away in NI. Geoff was really helpful and responsive throughout our stay, and checking in and out was easy and flexible. Everything in the cottage was done to a high standard, with thoughtful touches throughout - spare toiletries, towels, throws, pillows, etc. All in all, we had a great time, and would happily stay here again or recommend it to others - especially if you’ll be staying more than a few days and would like somewhere with a little extra space.
