Beachfront vacation rentals in Council of the City of Sydney

A wonderful stay! Super homey and spotlessly clean, plus just a few minutes walk to a really nice beach!! A great location away from the city bustle of Sydney, but close enough to visit to see the attractions and shop. Linda was very accommodating and communicative. We had a small issue with the fridge (not to the fault of the host) and her and her husband were very attentive, responsive and willing to remedy the situation. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice, peaceful beach getaway with some tourist visits to Sydney sprinkled in!

Plenty of room in this place for 8 of us and very close to the beach!

We had a great time in this apartment on new year with many unforgettable and spectacular views over the Ocean. We felt like locals for a few days and enjoyed to stay away from the tourist crowds. A perfect choice on such busy days in the city. The location of the apartment is also great for any sport activities. In particular the living area of the apartment is a highlight and our kids loved the big sofa.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay, Belle was a truly fantastic host, extremely flexible, friendly and quick to respond. The location and views from the apartment are second to none. The apartment itself is extremely well equipped, we really appreciated the little touches (lovely shower gel , shampoo etc) and well equipped with cleaning products etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book, the views were to die for!

Our family of four had such a great stay at Kims place. Tamara and it surrounds are one of my favourite parts of Sydney. The apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and very well considered for guests. Inclusions of tea/coffee and other pantry basics along with shampoo/body wash/body lotion in the bathrooms was appreciated. Kitchen was well equipped.Kim was easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. The apartment has views of the ocean and is a very short walk to the sand of Tamarama beach. Bondi road is only a short walk and has loads of restaurants/cafes/grocery stores etc. We loved our morning walks to Bronte for a swim and coffee and doing walks to Bondi and Coogee. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I had an amazing stay at Coogee Beach house. A fantastic location, everything within a very short walk. A nice quiet location, with a shady garden and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Definitely will come back again!

We had such a fantastic stay at this gorgeous apartment. Clean, spacious, close to everything (walkable to beach, restaurants, cafes, etc) Bus routes right nearby to get you everywhere. Host was very responsive for all our needs. Would highly recommend! This next part of the review is for couples travelling with YOUNG BABIES ONLY: There were some pros & cons to staying here with our 9 month old baby (as with anywhere!) PROS - the host provided us with everything we needed - baby bath, highchair and travel cot. All helpful and needed for our travels. Washing machine was handy of course! The apartment was actually great for our baby crawling / skirting around and we could make it fairly baby proof. CONS - The apartment is on a big hill so buggy was out especially if you went out walking alone. There were a lot of steps to access the apartment from Coogee beach. - Couldn’t blackout light for naps / nighttime sleep. Apartment was very bright even with all blinds down.

What a great place to stay! Close enough to the beach that you can walk there easily but far enough away that it’s quiet. There was also a couple of grocery stores near by where we could get all the things we needed. We had 5 adults staying at the location and it was great. I would stay here again if we are ever blessed enough to get to Bondi Beach again.

The Studio apartment was in a good location with water views and a great little pool. I appreciated the flexible check in and check out time and the proximity to the city (30 minute walk through the botanical gardens)

Excellent apartment. A real treasure, it made our last 4 days in Australia so special. Well decorated, very clean. Milk and bread provided was a real surprise (very welcome). Highly recommended.

Amazing Stay at Bondi Beach Over New Year’s! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on Bondi Beach over New Year’s with my partner and our 6-month-old baby. The location was absolutely perfect—waking up to the sound of the waves and being steps away from the beach made it an unforgettable experience. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their hospitality was unmatched, welcoming us with a bottle of champagne and thoughtful snacks to celebrate New Year’s Eve. It truly set the tone for a memorable getaway. The property was immaculate, well-equipped, and perfect for both relaxation and family time. We can’t wait to come back for another stay. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming experience in Bondi!

A family of 6 stayed at this location and I am so happy we did! This house is located in the center of Bondi, 10 mins from Tamarama Beach and in the middle of Bondi street (2 mins away walking) with very quick and easy access to shops and restaurants. Nick, our host was amazing! He gave us super detailed information and instructions about the property and we had no issues during our stay. The property is SPECTACULAR and beautiful. The house had everything we needed, and the host was always responsive and in touch. The view to the beach is amazing! I highly recommend you to stay here, and if we go back, I’d definitely stay there again!…we had such a great time and experience in this place! I cannot stress enough how easy and smooth everything went! It just felt like HOME. ❤️ amazing host, amazing property, and beautiful views!

We are a family of 5 and spent a magical week in the apartment. There are no roads to cross between you and the beach so children could walk to the beach /playground and muck around on the sand unsupervised. House is a perfect Airbnb. Delightful and styled beautifully but not so precious you can’t relax. Nice big dining table, basic but functional kitchen. Two tiny but perfectly formed bathrooms and a view to die for. We felt right at home. We would love to stay here again

I can’t say enough good things about Dom and his fabulous hosting! 10 stars for the way he made my aging parents and sister feel 100% welcome and comfortable at his place in Sydney. He was super responsive - getting back to any question I sent in a matter of minutes, he left food/milk/drinks/fresh pastry in the kitchen so they didn’t have to go shopping for anything the whole first couple of days and THEN he even personally drove my parents/sister around to show them some sights and took my dad grocery shopping when I was busy with other plans. What! Absolutely unbelievable. Loved the little “Harry Potter” room under the stairs when you enter the place too - how creative! I can’t recommend Dom and this rental enough!

This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in recently! It has had such a tasteful renovation, has been styled nicely and is really clean and comfortable. We really felt so at home here and could have happily stayed longer. One of the biggest draw cards is the value for money, especially compared to other apartments in the Maroubra/Coogee area. It is a 5 min walk to the cafes, pubs and beach. And it has parking! Couldn't recommend this one more.

We had the most amazing stay. The outdoor area has fabulous views and is perfect for a bbq. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a stay. I would happily come again and again!

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation is incredibly well located in a park with magnificent trees (and singing birds) and the beach just a 2-minutes walk away and you can walk to Bondi beach or Coogee with a great sight. The apartment is very pleasant, well equiped, with its two bedrooms, a very welcoming living room and a terrace opening onto the park and the ocean a little further away.Marina was very helpful with all our questions and requests. thanks ! jean-Luc

Loved our extended stay at Harrison's place. Right next to the beach and in the middle of busy Coogee, but tucked away privately in the back of an apartment block with a leafy outlook. The apartment is old but clean and it's huge, set over two levels with a large, homely living room. Will miss staying here!

It was an amazing experience staying at Guy’s place. My family and I enjoyed the house and its surroundings. Just few minutes walking distance from the beach. I would recommend to stay here!
