We loved, Loved, LOVED the cottage! So peaceful and serene, with beautiful views... and lots to look at inside too! Such fascinating knickknacks everywhere. Would love to hear some of the stories behind them. Enjoyed ourselves so much, we are definitely considering coming back!

We really enjoyed staying here! We loved the open space and the comfortable couch and chairs which was great for hanging out and watching movies. There were towels provided for the hot tub and that was very convenient. The hot tub was super clean and in a very private area. We loved having the whole outdoor area to ourselves! The host provided muffins, which was such a nice treat. The kitchen was set up nicely and made it easy to cook several meals there. We loved the log cabin feel! Everything was just lovely for our cousin's weekend, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

Our stay here was amazing! Jill was very responsive and friendly, even reached out afterwards to check in to make sure everything went well. The bar/restaurant down the road was amazing too. We visited willow river state park and loved how close it was to the cabin. The bed was also super comfy! We appreciated the snacks/pantry goods that were included as well. Can’t recommend this cabin highly enough. The location is totally calm, quiet, and peaceful while being only five minutes away from great shopping and the interstate highway. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed, and in great shape — even better than the photos. And our hosts were very friendly and welcoming — very responsive to our questions and even left a loaf of homemade banana bread on the kitchen counter for us when we arrived. Our family had a wonderful time and will be back!

We had a great week! The main level was listed as "shared," but no one else was ever there when we were. There were 2 wonderful patios, 1 right off the master bedroom. It was less then a block to Bald Eagle Lake with a small beach. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back!

Beautiful setting, peaceful, comfortable place - only a little tough to find food if you arrive later when restaurant options might be closed (especially if vegetarian) because it is a rural area. Friendly, responsive hosts.

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

It is clean and so well decorated, comfortable and perfect for a getaway. The view off the porch every morning was so relaxing.

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!
