Great house and great hosts!

We have visited Skaneatles Lake for many years. Some family accommodations, some friends and some rentals. We have always enjoyed ourselves because we meet with old friends and family. As usual the lake was very clean and chilly. Weather was great. Lots of steps and steep grade to the beach area. But we had a friend who was able to borrow a golf cart. We used that to help access the beach and the neighborhood. The cottage was very nice, 3 stories with a wrap around deck. We spent a lot of time out on the deck. We are senior citizens so we had trouble figuring out the TV, but we did. Would recommend this place but plan on dealing with the steep grade.

Lauren and Mikes place was the perfect spot for my mom’s 95th birthday celebration. Nice open floor plan and lots of space for my family to get together and visit. Hosts were quick to respond to any communications needed. Will definitely book with them again, hopefully when it’s warmer

Very charming house with everything we needed. However the most amazing part of our stay was the lakefront. Such a special place!! Large grass area with many chairs, beautiful view, easy access to the lake and all the kayaks and SUPs we needed!

The host was amazing amd the place was beautiful and amazing to stay at.

Neil's house was perfect for our visit. It was quiet and cozy. We enjoyed canoeing around the lake and sitting by the fire pit at night. The beds are comfortable and kitchen has all you need. Neil communicated well and is very friendly. we can't wait to return.

Brendan was very, very responsive, and promptly took care of what we needed while we were staying there. the living room couch was very comfortable also. we had a very relaxing and cool time together in Brendan's place. Thank you !

Diane’s home was lovely. My family really enjoyed the space and appreciated the outside chairs and deck. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had 0 issues and really appreciated how responsive Diane was to questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nothing but good things to say. The space was clean, well lit and comfortable. Really appreciated the coffee bar, snacks & drinks in the fridge. The bed was super comfortable, got a much better night of sleep than I’ve ever gotten staying in a hotel. Would definitely recommend to a friend & would stay here again for sure. Great value for sure!

We loved this place!! There was so many amenities that we weren’t able to use because we weren’t in the house a ton as we were in a wedding, but boy did we miss out on them! We had a perfect stay and would absolutely stay again if we were ever in the area again. No complaints at all!

One of our favorite AirBnb experiences! This place was perfect for our family to get together under one roof. Joan and Leo were very pleasant and easy to communicate with and were extremely flexible with our requests. The home was beautifully decorated and we were able to have great family dinners in the huge dining room! The amenities were many which made for a fun, relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back to stay again!

With both our kids meeting up with us, the kitchen worked like a charm as they were very excited for a home cooked meal. Also, the description on the website matched very well, and it was clear how much the nightly rate would be beyond the two of us. We would certainly stay again.

What a beautiful and cozy historic space! I loved the fireplace in the bedroom and the very comfy bed. Very quiet house and neighborhood. Extremely clean! The bathroom is tiny but functional. My only complaint would be that I was provided only a single bath towel for a 2-night stay. Other than that it was perfect and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Tim!

We’ve stayed here three times now and love it every time. It’s peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loves being able to roam around without a leash and we love being able to unplug. Sherry is a great host and very accommodating and responsive!

Very private and cozy setting. Very comfortable layout. We will always choose this place first, if available, when traveling to the area.

I have stayed with Karen twice now and will definitely be returning. It's a great deal. Karen is incredibly responsive and flexible. As a traveling nurse, my hours don't always align with the typical check-in and check-out times, but Karen has been extremely accommodating and since I work long hours, I'm not at the place much, so I really appreciate how affordable it is. Thanks Karen!

Meghan and Josh’s townhouse is perfect for a few days of skiing—close to the hill via the shuttle and plenty of room/hooks for all the stuff that comes with a ski trip (I really appreciate hooks in an Airbnb, especially one when we have snow covered coats and pants and helmets!!). They are very responsive owners, helpful when we reached out, with great (and easy) instructions for everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Beyond the peaceful countryside setting, one of this Airbnb's unique highlights was the sound of horses' hooves on the Jennings Creek Road asphalt as neighboring Amish families passed by in their buggies. Having never been around the Amish, I found this sound surprisingly emotive and comforting—especially while drifting off to sleep, reminiscent of the soothing experience of listening to rain on a metal roof. Though Sage #3 is an unpretentious retro camper, I can say without equivocation that Karen’s accommodation is one of the cleanest and most generously equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I also had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Steve, and son, Ben. As new owners of this property, they are in the process of restoring it and have exciting plans to enhance and expand their Airbnb offerings. This kind and caring family certainly deserves encouragement and support as they pursue their vision.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Cortland. It’s a walkable distance to Main Street & local places. Private entrance with parking in the back of the house. ( remember it has to fit 4 cars) Place is nice & as pictured. Outside is a different story & needs improvement. Quiet location. Would stay again when in Cortland Thank you Larry, you are a great host
