Apartment vacation rentals in Cortland County

Jerry's place was very easy to find, and in a great location for my business trip. The studio apartment was immaculate (excellent job by his cleaner!) and well supplied with all the conveniences and appliances needed- the photo I saw didn't show a microwave, but I was happy to find one there. The shower? Bliss. Great pressure and ultra-modern style. Other reviewers have mentioned the street noise, but I've lived in a city before and had no problem falling asleep. Two fans and an air conditioner kept the place at a comfortable temperature. For me, as a mobility-challenged person, the apartment wasn't as good a fit as hoped. The stairs to the second floor are moderately steep with a turn at the top, and the mattress is lower than usual making it difficult for me to get up from the bed. If you have physical issues that way, just be aware of this and make your own determination. Also, one tenant has a cat, and if you have an allergy to them, you'll want to know that.

Perfect place for us to stay while visiting family. We had been looking for something closer than the hotels to their house and this was perfect! It was clean and cozy and was exactly what was advertised

Wonderful hosts plus a beautiful, tranquil home made for the perfect stay. Bob and Mary go out of their way to make their guest feel comfortable. The property has loads of space and they had lots of special touches to make guests feel special. Bob even went out of his way to return something I left at the apartment prior to me leaving town. I highly recommend these hosts and this property!

Location was great for our son’s baseball tournament at the Gutchess Lumberyard. The apartment was close to restaurants and SUNY Cortland. The property was as described in the listing. The board games were nice to have and the beds were comfortable.

What a wonderful place! Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. We celebrated a graduation but I only wish I knew about this the last four years. Fabulous. If I’m ever back to the area I will certainly look this up again. Thank you!!

Great location, close to fresh coffee, food. Had all the basic amenities with a few touches that made one feel at home. The couch bed was a little concave but still comfortable. Thanks for the nice stay.

This was a great find!! The space was exactly as described, had comfortable beds, a good layout, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had trouble getting in one night (totally our fault) and Callie was so responsive and came right over to help us out! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area in the future.

Options were very limited in the area, Cortland is not a luxury destination and the total price for two nights was just under $500. The space is clean, nice and as described but the area, lack of modernity and overall space is not worth $250 per night. I have stayed in much nicer places for much less. I suppose the limited options (traveling with dog) drive up the price. Space is very clean, furniture is comfortable, host is very responsive and accommodating, neighborhood is ok.

The apartment was perfect for our family while at a sporting event at SUNY Cortland. The space made it comfortable for our 3 day stay. The only wish we had was table for our group to all eat at but the pictures very accurately represented everything in the apartment. Thank you!

I love that they offered decaf coffee. as someone who likes to drink a cup of decaf at night. Personally I would like curtains in the bedroom to block out the morning sun. The kitchen sink is amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very sufficient for our needs and was clean. The location and people were the real magic of this place! Alex, Angie, and the staff, especially Jen, Bob and Amanda are some of the friendliest and coolest people you will ever meet. We made some forever friends here. It was our first time to the area so having the restaurant and bar, where you get 25% off, and meeting all sorts of interesting people as well as the fabulous staff allowed us to have a unique and amazingly fun experience! Thanks to the highly social atmosphere we found out the best places to go for hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and vineyards as well as other hidden gems that most tourists wouldn’t know about. The lake is amazing for boating, fishing and swimming and they have free Kayaks too. The food and drinks here are also delicious thanks to the smoki’n skills(ribs, brisket) of Chef Bob, & the mixology mastery of Anika! Alex and his staff went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be back! 5*

We came to visit a college student. This space was a lovely spot for a place to visit and get away from school for a day. Kitchen well supplied and rooms comfortable.

This apartment was a perfect location! The streets are walkable and there are many restaurants, coffee shops, etc nearby. Parking was right in front of the apartment. It was easy to access and check in. Full kitchen, large refrigerator, snacks and water in the fridge for us to enjoy. Towels and mattresses were nice quality. Roku TV was great so we could sign into our own Hulu/Netflix accounts. Rhonda, our contact, was extremely responsive and sweet. There were a few minor issues during our stay but she immediately offered to rectify. Nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Note: As of July 2024 there is construction around the main streets in Cortland. Did not impact our stay other than Main Street is now one-way so it took a few extra minutes to wind around to get back to the apartment, but Waze helped us find our way each time. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in adorable Cortland. If we come back to the town, we would definitely stay here again!

This is a perfect place to stay for a weekend of skiing at local mountains. Very easy to find, setup is great for a family or a group. Kitchen is more than adequate and laundry service is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Lovely apartment and had a very cozy stay. It was a relaxing experience and Emmanuel was a great host! Communication was easy and did the best to make sure we had what we needed. Thanks for everything!

We originally booked Arnaud's because we were planning on traveling with our dogs. Last minute plan changes meant it would just be my son and I, but the dogs would have loved it here. The back gardens and space were lovely. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh eggs! And it was convenient for our baseball tournament in Cortland.

I had a wonderful stay…great apartment..spacious, clean, great view and nice furniture. The building is awesome with great amenities. The hosts are responsive and friendly. 10/10

Clean and comfortable! Building itself seemed clean and well maintained as well. Stefan was super responsive and helpful! Very grateful to be able to find a place to accommodate my pets. Parking in the lot across the street was also convenient and affordable. Close to a bunch of great restaurants within walking distance and easy highway access to get everywhere else. Overall had a great stay!

This place is amazing! Everything you need right here. Super close to all the local hospitals. Nice, quiet, and clean. I also feel safe traveling as a female alone. And the hosts are incredibly nice and are very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

By far one of the nicest, cleanest, and well equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. It also smelled amazing ! We stayed for the weekend with one of the days being a night in where we cooked dinner. The kitchen has everything you might possibly need to cook a meal. The coffee book was an adorable touch and the bathroom was squeaky clean. In fact, I don’t typically like showering at Airbnbs but this bathroom was cleaner than mine at home ! My fiancé was a big fan of the bidet lol would absolutely stay again and plan on it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Semkin’s place. The apartment was comfortable, had everything we needed and was in a lovely location. Bonus points for proximity to the indoor water park! Semkin is a great host and the apartment was very clean. We would definitely stay again.
