We arrived on a chilly evening, it was lovely to walk inside and feel the warmth. The place was spotless top to bottom. Beds super comfy and a lovely shower. Paul gave very clear instructions on how to get in and how everything worked etc. A beautiful cottage and very homely.

Marjorieâs farmhouse was the last stay in a weeklong journey across Ireland with my parents and it was the perfect way to end. The farmhouse is beautiful and you can feel the love sheâs poured into it. And, they restored it just 2 years ago!! The house is surrounded by lush green farmland and two very sweet donkeys on the property - Tommy & Frankie. Who became even more friendly when I bright them carrots from the market :) Marjorie is a fabulous host and stopped by to say hello and had so many great recommendations for the area. If you plan to visit the Cork area Iâd highly suggest staying here. Youâre a stones throw from the city as well as the costal town Kinsale, but can soak in the serene and quiet here. I hope to make it back again and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great house - kitchen, small bathroom and lounge on ground floor with small outside area; upper floor with two bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom; third floor with another bedroom and separate bathroom. More than enough space for four adults and a baby. Great location - walking distance to Tesco and then lots of restaurants (recommend Tradehouse Central). Good distance to Cork City, Cobh, Blarney Castle. Joe was very responsive and helpful.

We had a fantastic time in cork staying at Cois Abhainn. It is a very well equipped house in a lovely historic village. Ann was very responsive and helpful. Itâs a great base for touring around Cork and I absolutely recommend it!

This is a lovely family home, which is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Cork City. (Steep hill to climb on the way back) Local pubs and shops are excellent. I would highly recommend this property đ

We wanted to stay a bit outside of the downtown area as we have a car. There was ample on street parking. The Lidl was only a few blocks away. There is a lake just about 1 km up the hill which is great for a walk or run. Beware of the geese. They are a bit feisty. You can easily walk into the "tourist zone". The kitchen is well equipped. As it is an older house there are a few quirks. Pearse walks you through them. On other reviews the height of the shower was noted. That is true. The shower ceiling slants. As I am the average size of a 12 yo (maybe 10), this was not an issue for me. My husband said he sat down and it was not a big deal. The bed was very comfortable. The dishwasher and washing machine worked fine. Nearly everything can be recycled in the bins out front which we appreciate.

We had an incredible stay at Lisaâs charming home in Cork! From the very beginning, Lisa went above & beyondâshe was in regular contact with us before, during, and even after our stay, answering all our questions and helping us feel totally prepared for our long stay coming from the U.S. The house itself is in a great spot on the North side of Cork, within a reasonable and enjoyable walk to the city centre. Itâs an older home with so much character, and itâs also incredibly cozy and welcoming. After weekends away traveling, we actually looked forward to getting back âhomeâ to this spaceâalways a sign of a truly special stay. And the bedâwow. Hands down, it is the most comfortable Airbnb bed Iâve ever slept in. Lisa is a fantastic host, responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Weâre so grateful for the experience & wouldnât hesitate to stay here again! Thank you for making our stay so incredible Lisa! Kate & Yax

Emma, is a great communicator. The apartment was exactly as described. Can be noisy from roads below but this didn't disturb us, probably depends on what you are used to. Located in a main area which isn't to far from the bus station and main shops. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at Emma's again.

Thankyou so much Cormac, your place was spotless, easy to find and very cosy. It was also near a bus stop and shops. Your mom Rose was very helpful and checked us in. She was very kind and flexible to give us a later checkout. We would highly recommend this place to others. Regards
