Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

Great family house for 6, parking , accepts 1 dog

This is a delightful holiday house, located in a very peaceful part of Keswick. Private off street parking for two cars. A very pretty garden to relax in , enjoy a bbq or two. The house is so welcoming , lovely front sitting room with smart TV and views up to the fells. Large dining room with sitting for 6, doors lead onto the patio, garden area. A super well equipped kitchen. Upstairs three pretty bedrooms with very comfy beds. A small but perfect bathroom with shower, loo and sink.

Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Completed in July 2020, The Hayloft is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater lake in the Lake District. Bedroom one has a double bed and en suite shower, toilet and basin. Bedroom 2 can be made up as a double bed or two single beds. We can provide an extra small bed in here for a young child up to about age 7.

Had a great stay everything we needed,place very spacious and quiet, but had all what we needed too, a pub and a cafe and shop for essentials if we ran out of things.We felt so relaxed and our dog Barnaby really settled into the cottage he enjoyed his walks around the village, good value for money, thank-you Lorraine we will be back ❤️

The house was perfect for our stay. It met and exceeded our requirements. Nigel answered any queries quickly and fully. The house was, for us in a perfect location. Only 5 minutes walk from the town centre, 15 minutes from the Derwent Water ferry. We stayed at Mona House for 7 days and did not have to use the car once. We visited and climbed several interesting walks. Keswick is a lovely town and contains many attractions including restaurants, museums, galleries and of course Derwent Water and the most stunning countryside. The house was the most well equipped we have ever rented. I suppose the question that needs answering is, "Would we stay again?". Absolutely, in a heart beat

Great location for walking to most places including the shores of coniston water. The accommodation is very spacious and great for families with a large dining room just off the kitchen. There is an EV charging point in the town centre but it only charges at 3 kw so if you need a full charge there is an extra £8-50 charge for 24 hours parking.

Great little place to stay for small families looking for an adventure. Not only was the house well presented, it was clean and tidy and it had a well equip kitchen.The bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were comfortable (super important if you're doing lots of walking!). Location was great, just a 5 minute walk from the town on a nice quiet street. Loads of walking available locally (anything from an hour walk to a 5 hour hike) but we did Helvellyn, old man Coniston and scafell pike while on our visit all of which were withing 40 minutes of the house. All in all, great stay and would recommend to others. Thanks very much!

Charming big house in an incredible location We spent a week-long family vacation in this house and really enjoyed it. The location directly at the lake was amazing. Although it is very remote, we hardly used the car as there are a lot of nice walks you can do from the house. Additionally, there is a jetty just two minutes walking distance from the house where a ferry to Keswick stops. The house is nice and very large. while the kitchen is very cosy, the furniture in the rest of the house is rather basic and not particularly charming or stylish. It's all about the location.

We had a lovely stay at the Old School House. It worked really well for a family get together. There were 6 adults, 3 kids and a dog. All the bedrooms had en-suites which was really useful, there was a huge dining room, with a dining table big enough to seat all of us, and 2 really good sized lounge areas + a smaller one upstairs as well. The village was also a really nice base when visiting the lakes. I really recommend this place.
