Villa vacation rentals in Coniston

We booked Simon’s place for our annual family weekend away, where 13 adults and 2 children stayed. The house is absolutely huge with an abundance of space for such a larger party. Simon was great at communicating from start to finish and even let us check in early and check out late because they didn’t have any bookings before or after. The house is really well presented and the views are absolutely stunning from the house. You’re only a short walk to shops and pubs and even though we didn’t go the beach I’m sure it wasn’t too far away at all. I would 100% recommend staying there and we will definitely consider staying next year as well.

We have had the most wonderful Christmas Day at the Lakehouse. The property is absolutely beautiful , it’s clean, homely, warm, spacious, cosy- the list is endless! Paul and Victoria were helpful and responsive. We would absolutely love to go back again. Thank you!

Love the place especially the private jacuzzi all to ourselves! It was great for a short-term getaway and everything’s steps away. Highly recommended

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

We really enjoyed staying at far Nook, ten minute walk to centre of Ambleside. Lovely accommodation, clean and spacious. Good quality, high standards. Upstairs double bed in front of house a bit too hard otherwise rest of beds comfortable. Good showers and bathrooms. Kitchen great social area, kitchen equipment good. Lovely garden area, although we didn’t use it because we explored the fells everyday. My parents loved sitting in the sun room at the front of the house while we were out walking. Great bedroom for them downstairs. My husband used the office space to work in a lot, which was great for him as this isn’t often found in accommodation. Wi-Fi good Really nice lounge area comfortable sofas and chairs and wood burner. Very homely. (Not over keen on furniture in TV room to big, uncomfortable and dowdy, didn’t use this room.) I’d certainly recommend this house. We had a wonderful holiday here and we would love to return and stay at Far Nook again. Thank you!

Beautiful houses imaculate inside and out finished to a very high standard and very homely. The houses are surrounded by beautiful surroundings in a peaceful location. Jerry went out of his way to help us and was the perfect host.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, with a very homely feel. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need was provided. there was 14 of us ( all adults) staying there for one week, we get together at least once a year and hire properties of this size throughout the uk, and we have all agreed that this has been the best one that we have stayed at to date. We were very lucky weather wise and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony taking in the view which is beautiful. We have two chefs in our group and they have said that the kitchen facilities are excellent. The lounge is rather tight for 14 adults, however I suspect that it was larger at some point and has been reduced in size to accommodate the bedroom next door which caters for disabled guests, the size of the lounge did not cause us any discomfort. There are plenty of of board games provided for all ages, incase the weather keeps you indoors. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this house.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was charming and spacious, with clean rooms and a stunning view. Communication was smooth—we arrived late at night and had all the information needed to access the house easily. We also appreciated the thoughtful gestures, like the snacks and wine. Overall, we had a great time and would happily recommend this place to everyone!
