To begin with, Ebony was an amazing host right from the beginning! I had mom immediate family and children stay at her place during my wedding and she was very accommodating. My family really enjoyed the place and I definitely recommend her place to anyone who needs a place to stay :) Thank you so much!

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 3 and under and a dog. We had a great stay! The place is as described and more. Very well stocked with all the essentials for kitchen and otherwise. Lots of space. Clean. Heating and cooling. Thoughtfully decorated. Lots of yard space. Beautiful view of the local mountains. Scott gave us a tour of their farm and our little guy fed the ducks - fun! Right next to Little Qualicum Cheeseworks - fresh dairy awaits. Location is good - farm setting but close to town. Overall great value and would stay again!

Perfect little getaway, short and sweet - place was clean and tidy, easy to navigate and plenty of information and recommendations from the host/co-host. Would recommend and stay again.

We loved our stay here and plan to return! The suite was quaint & charming. The furnishings were tasteful. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved the arrival note, bottle of wine and soaps in the bathroom! The deck is water view and is so inviting. We stayed here for work and will plan to make this a repeat trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was really easy to access. This space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The host was amazing and super responsive with any questions we had. Walks around the resort were lovely, pools were awesome for kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay here over Christmas! The suite has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable! Not a complaint, but be aware you might hear the kids playing as it's not entirely soundproof. It made no difference to us but might be good for others wanting to sleep at odd hours or work from the suite.

We loved Heidi’s place. It is spotlessly clean and the kitchen is fully equipped, including complimentary coffee. Bathroom and bedroom are comfy and clean. Lots of room to get comfy on the living room sectional. Beautiful location by the creek.

Definitely a 10/10. The cottage was immaculate and was equipped with all the amenities needed for our stay. It was cozy, warm, comfortable and quiet. In walking distance to Rathtrevor Beach and the Top Bridge Trail. Also, close to restaurants and stores if needed. We stayed 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend - October 2024

I was spending another few days in this place. actually for the 4th years in a raw, clean, peaceful and great location. Next year I would be there again .. Lovely host!!!! My favourite place ever. Thank you Isabella!!!!!!!!

This is a very charming rustic cabin located in the forest. Quiet, peaceful and very private. Very unique experience

Small cozy unit with a great hot tub! Great for two couples.

The place was easy to find. We were greeted warmly by Dave and made to feel at home. The cottage had a lovely bouquet of fresh home-grown flowers on the table. The view out the window is amazing and verdant. We had a great time touring the island and felt quite at home in the cottage. The kitchenette worked great for all our meal preparations. We also enjoyed quite a few soaks in the claw bathtub.

This was our second stay and we already can’t wait to be back again. It was the perfect space for a group vacation - we liked having the large common area to hang out in. Our host was very attentive and we appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen and bedrooms. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay and near lots of wonderful hikes and restaurants.

We loved our time at the cottage it was clean secluded and surrounded by forest . Everything is easy to find they have a great little disc golf course at the community centre just up the road . Close to everything. If we ever come back to Quadra Island we would come and stay at Big tree cottage again.

The hosts were kind and communicative (despite my anxious dog not making a great first impression!). The hosts provided a fenced in 'back yard' area at the entrance to the suite, which made for many sunny hours lounging in the sun after a walk to the river at the back of the property. The interior of the suite is quite basic and not the most private (I believe their office is on the other side of the door in the living room area and not sound-proofed), and you must be sure to keep your food secured as there are a lot of ants in the suite/kitchen - but what the suite itself lacks is made up for by the sprawling green expanse of the farm and surrounding wildlife. The alpacas were curious and friendly, and my dog enjoyed watching the neighbour's geese down the road. Overall I think my dog enjoyed the property even more than the beaches we visited while in town. Thanks again for the stay! I would visit again just to sit at the river and bask in the forest.

The Tiki Tiny House was a hidden gem on Savary. Quiet and peaceful and a lovely “off-grid” experience. Thorsten was very detailed with instructions on how to use everything that were easy to follow. He was quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely recommend the Tiki Tiny House to anyone looking for a getaway on beautiful Savary Island!
