Farmstay vacation rentals in Cologne

Very last minute booked stay to spend a few days in a quiet place and we were greeted very kindly by Birgit. The apartment has many comfortable sleeping options and a great outdoor area. Our children also felt very comfortable. Since we had to work in between, we would have liked only a more reliable wifi.

My husband, my mother (87) and I used the cottage as a starting point for family visits in the area around Ruppichteroth. As a result, we were on the road a lot and could not enjoy this little lovingly prepared gem as much as it would have been worth. A really great cottage restored with a lot of passion, where the only small downside was that due to the age of the cottage we always had to pay attention to our heads at the ceiling and door frame height as well as to the unevenness of the floor - but that's what really makes the charm of the house! Communication with Birgitta was warm and very attentive! Highly recommended.

Beautiful, cozy apartment with beautiful garden and wonderfully quiet location. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 2 babies and had more than enough space. Great starting point for day trips, such as the monkey and bird park or the Panabora (both great excursions!) There was almost everything you could ever need. The children's books, play - and things were great!

Heidi is a very accommodating host. The premises are tiptop clean and small extra sausages make them possible. She is always available for small excursion tips, because she knows her area well.

Amazing place, it has all you need and in a beautiful quiet setting. I’ll probably come again :)

The place was wonderful – clean, cozy and designed with a lot of love. I was particularly enthusiastic about the farm shop and the vending machines, which offer regional products and treats 24/7. Convenient, tasty and unique! I'd love to come back

Even before our arrival, Angi sent us all the relevant information, so we felt very welcome. The place is super nice and quiet, yet there are many excursions nearby. We were particularly impressed by the hiking paradise “Sophienhöhe.” We didn't hear much of the New Year's Eve noise in the house, which was super relaxed for our dogs. During the day they also had a lot to watch, with the "horse TV." The fenced garden is also great! 👍🏻 Thank you for this beautiful place and we hope that it will be lived in with care for a long time!

Super nice apartment, bigger than expected. Everything is nice and clean and complete. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful quiet place, but amenities (supermarket etc.) can all be reached within 10 minutes. Our toddler enjoyed themselves on the farm with the go-kart, trampoline and feeding the animals. We also did the treasure hunt, the forest trails were blubbery and sometimes difficult to pass, for us only extra fun and adventurous. But maybe a smaller scavenger hunt on the grounds of the farm itself is also a nice addition for the little ones or those who have difficulty walking.

Quiet, private place on the lake. The weather did not allow for a swimming pool. Spacious loft for 8 people. But without a car, logistics will be difficult. The owner and staff are very friendly, and quickly solve emerging needs while staying.

I had such a lovely time, the area was quiet and the appartement was awesome! I had some well needed relaxing days, greeted by some happy Alpaca's 😉. Thomas and Claudia were very kind. I will definitely come back another time.

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. :) Even by public transport, Philip's cottage was very easy to reach. In the morning, we had breakfast with the birds singing all around and in the evening we made ourselves comfortable in front of the fireplace. It was a great time and we would have liked to have stayed longer. :)

Our stay at the farm was all around successful ☺️ Carolin and her husband were very nice and we really liked the place. It was exactly as shown in the pictures, spacious, very clean and well equipped. The cows impressed our daughter very much and the highlight was the farm dog who greeted us every morning - super cute. From there we made nice trips to Brüggen and Roermond. We are looking forward to vacationing there again!

Everything worked out beautifully! The place is well maintained, very clean and exactly as described. Benjamin was super friendly even before arrival and the warm welcome immediately made up for our turbulent arrival. Clear recommendation – always happy to come back!

A beautiful location. Belgian border just a few hundred metres away. Lovely landscapes. Wind farms all around. A very relaxing weekend for us.

I spent my first little hiking vacation with my dog Kira at Steffi & Gero's pink sheep. Despite the dog with a muzzle, we were received absolutely sweetly and without prejudice by Steffi. And the neighbors in the village were also very open-minded towards us. The direct and nearby surroundings positively ~blew me away~. We had a wonderful time in the Eifel and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay at Tina and Josch house house . The accommodation is very well located in the heart of the fagnes, with views of nature and horses, it is also very close to the pretty city of Monschau. It is very clean and the wood fire allows for warm evenings. In short, a good time despite the weather not conducive to hiking.

Perfect! Lovely little house with perfect decor and comfort. Even nicer than the pictures. The area is very nice, walks in the forest 5 min from the house. And the hosts are more than adorable, we lost a wallet in the forest and Hilla and her husband went to try to find it with their dogs in the forest! Amazing hosts, thanks again :)

We felt super comfortable with Nils, Caro and family, it is very cozy and lovingly furnished, especially the sitting window sills in the beautiful sun did it for us. The great relaxing swings outside with the beautiful view of the countryside + sunset also contribute to the well-being😍! Highly recommended by us - if you want to relax again, do a little hiking or cycling, watch the chickens or just read in peace, you've come to the right place.🤩 The children also have enough to discover, can move freely, as there is zero traffic and very nice playmates are also there. The place was for my colleagues to work on site for my colleagues. Jörg is a very great host. Fast communication. Was now our 5th or 6th booking with Jörg. A comfortably furnished apartment. There was nothing missing. Thank you very much to everything.
