Waterfront vacation rentals in Colac Otway Shire

Even though it was a bit hard to get to the place, it was worth our time and drive. We love the wild animals and the beautiful lake there. It is very tranquil and peaceful. The kids had a lot of fun feeding the wild parrots and deer. They even got the chance to groom the horses as well. Rachel and her family were very welcoming and attended to our requests very fast. We are very grateful to have this opportunity to stay at this wonderful place.

Staying at this apartment in Apollo Bay was an absolute delight. The house was beautifully decorated, and it was one of the cleanest and best-maintained Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect—just a short stroll to the local cafes and restaurants, where we enjoyed some of the best coffee and meals of the trip. Despite being so close to everything, the apartment was wonderfully quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind. Julia was also helpful and responsive; would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Apollo Bay.

Great location across to beach and shops. House is set back off the road which was nice. Extra items in the garage like cart and chairs was great!

Great place - Spacious - Comfortable - Light and Bright - Very close to beach We had 3 people but this place would comfortably house 8 (3 bedrooms with 3 double beds. One bedroom also has a trundle bed that would sleep another 2). We enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

We loved our stay at Beach Break cottage, the place is cute as a button and was perfect for the 4 of us. It was amazing to be right there with a view onto the beach and easy walking distance to everything in Apollo Bay. It has everything you need for a break away including some beach items which we enjoyed using. We would love to come back here again sometime!

Staying at Mark and Kate’s place was an absolute dream! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with every thoughtful detail to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The high-tech features added a touch of luxury, and the board games were a delightful treat for the kids. The breathtaking view of Apollo Bay was the cherry on top, creating a serene and magical ambiance. What made it even better was the location—this place is the perfect spot to explore all the beautiful attractions along the Great Ocean Road. Mark and Kate’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel so welcomed. Thank you for such a wonderful experience—we can’t wait to return!

We had a tremendous stay at Louisa's house. It's an extremely comfortable home with a fire when it's cold and the ability to have all the doors and windows open for a cool breeze to flow through the house when it's hot - we had all types of weather during our stay. The view is stunning over the ocean, and the trees and local Koala were a highlight, particularly for my family from OS. The outdoor warm shower is just heaven after a crisp morning swim. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I hope to return soon, as I enjoyed the house and the area so much.
