Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Colac Otway Shire

Incredible! Extremely clean and tidy, fantastic amenities (like a fancy pod machine, auto kettle, surround sound, full set up for tv, a few games, fire pit, tonnes of firewood, extra heaters and fans), the beds and couches extremely comfortable, soooo close to everything on the main street, and beautiful modern, well maintained house. Even saw a few kangaroos out the back in the morning! We were extremely impressed.

We had a fantastic stay at Marshall's place! The house was perfect—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with Marshall was swift and seamless, making the whole experience even better. We especially loved the fire pit, which added a cozy touch to our evenings. Highly recommend staying here—would definitely return!

Comfortable home made for an easy stay. The things that attracted us to this property over others were larger property size (set on one acre) for some space and privacy, two bathrooms including ensuite, child/family friendly, pet friendly, close to the beach, and a quiet location that is still close enough to town to easily access goods and services. Ability for us to arrange a late check out was a big bonus, to be able to get the kids and all their stuff packed up more leisurely and without having to rush off. Once all packed up and cleaned and tidied, we had some lunch and then depared Putty's for home. Thank you Carolyn for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Colleen and David replied to queries in a timely manner (which is always a good thing), and their instructions were very clear. We stayed in the house with our daughter, her partner and child. There was plenty of room inside for quiet activities when the weather turned wintery. The outlook from the sitting area was fantastic - happy to sit there all day. As an added bonus the property had one of less steep driveways in Wye River!

Brigitte's house offers a breathtaking 180-degree view of the great ocean, nestled amidst hills and lush trees for a private retreat. Conveniently located near the main road, it's perfect for both relaxation and exploration. With WiFi available, it's ideal for remote work, making Fridays productive. Highly recommend this serene spot to everyone!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Fiona’s beautiful cottage. The surroundings were breathtaking, and we loved exploring the Deans Marsh area. I highly recommend visiting Elizabeth Lake for a peaceful walk in nature. What I especially appreciated were the thoughtful amenities provided for guests, including the hot tub, which was ready for us upon arrival, the BBQ, and the cosy fireplace where we spent a lovely evening. Thank you, Fiona, for organizing and preparing this wonderful retreat for our family! We can’t wait to return.

Absolutely gorgeous location for a private hideaway with an awesome general store and cafe super close. If you have lots of heavy luggage then maybe make sure you have someone strong to carry up to the entrance up a steep driveway and bunch of steps but well worth the effort.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ply House. It was a last minute booking, and Shane was very communicative and helpful. Although quite close to neighbours, it was quiet and peaceful. I am very particular with cleanliness, and the house was very clean which we were extremely happy with. Walking distance to the beach and shops. My only con would be that there are blinds, although no block out blinds in the bedroom, so getting undressed etc feels a bit strange. The sunlight beams through in the morning which we aren't used to, although some may very well love this. Overall it was a beautiful stay and we would definitely stay again. Thanks Shane!

Pleasant stay at a clean and cosy cabin in a beautiful location. Instructions were clear. Would stay again - lovely seeing the koalas all around the park!

We had an amazing weekend here: The pictures just can’t do it justice, the cabin is gorgeous & so peacefully tucked away in the forest, stocked with all of the essentials. We were greeted by some wild birds that happily took seed from our hands & spent the evening watching the dvds after cooking up a treat. Super close commute down to Lorne but the perfect distance away from the hustle & bustle. Absolutely recommend. ✨

My partner and I had the most beautiful weekend away. It was so peaceful, the perfect place to sit back and relax. Jan was so friendly and made sure to show us all the amenities before leaving us to our own devices. Everything was clean and Jan made sure that there were some extra personal touches in the room to make it feel extra special. We had a fantastic time away and could not recommend this stay enough! Myself and the family loved Lynne’s place! Was like a little home away from home and loved the costal vibe, kids thought it was incredible and couldn’t be more grateful! Had more than we were expecting to be offered literally only needed clothing and food. Also the birthday treats for the kids were gorgeous thank you Lynne we will be back.

Helen's cabin was a perfect place to stay during the great ocean road running festival weekend. Great location a walking distance from Apollo Bay cafes and restaurants. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed.
