Apartment vacation rentals in Coimbra

Tiago's apartment was exactly as he described in his listing. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend his place without reservation. We had a bit of difficulty with the check-in process but that was my mistake. I didn't read Tiago's extensive instructions before checking in. So, READ the helpful instructions BEFORE your arrival. He took time to ensure that his guests know how to access the apartment; the least I could have done was to read what he wrote. Tiago's apartment is located in a great part of Coimbra. The building is very quiet at night. Coimbra, like most cities in Portugal, is a very safe city. Park your car in the free parking space Tiago provides, which is located just across the street from the apartment, and take BOLT/UBER to all locations in Coimbra. It's quite affordable. One day we had a bit of trouble with the internet connection but Tiago (and his wife, Adriana) were right on top of the issue and resolved it for us quickly. We highly recommend Tiago's place!

Excellent apartment, better than it looks in the photos and description. Super clean apartment, very welcoming, well decorated, quiet and with everything we needed, we feel at home! We're just sorry we didn't stay longer. Hosts were super quick to respond and only provided useful information. The apartment building is completely restored and very beautiful. The site is spectacular, in the center of the historic center of Coimbra. In 5 to 10 minutes walking we were in the main historical sites of Coimbra. We recommend and will be back!

André and Hélio’s place is such a great location! It’s close to restaurants, shopping and the university. It’s decorated nicely and has a beautiful view.! You can hear beautiful street music if you open the balcony doors.

Beautiful space with lots of natural light. Amazing view from the master bedroom. Best shower!! Nice neighbourhood. We appreciated having a washer as this was our mid-trip stay. Highly recommend.

Ana's place is so cozy, clean and comfortable we almost did not want to leave! She is an attentive host and it shows in small details and little extras that were added to the accommodation. We arrived way later than planned and late at night but she stayed online and proactively asked us about the checkin. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful and is less than 15 mins drive to Coimbra. We would stay with Ana again when we are in the area.

Cute little cottage. Location was awesome, 2 minutes from the beach but also not directly on the beach so it was nice and quiet. Cleanliness was good. Parking is possible right outside the door in a huge parking lot. But it may also be full in the high season. He was very empty with us. In September, there were a lot of bars, etc. Which was a bit unfortunate but also understandable. Beach was very clean and completely empty. For the essentials there are two small supermarkets. But we drove to Tocha for shopping. We had little contact with Catia. But when we wrote, she responded within a minute. Overall, we felt comfortable and will certainly come back ;)

Pedro's place is located in the heart of Coimbra with walkable access to everything you want to see and do. Because of its location in the historic center, taxis had to drop off at about 300 mts from the apartment. This is only an issue if you have heavy suitcases because you have to drag them going up the street snd when you leave down. Also the building does not have a lift. Again this is only an issue if you have to carry heavy luggage upstairs. In our case we were in a third and thanks to Pedro who helped us to carry them up to the apartment. Besutiful apartment with everything you may need for a short or long stay and Pedro was a very attentive and gracious host. We had a great time in Coimbra and if we go back we will stay in Pedro's place only that this time I will not have heavy suitcases. Thank you Pedro!!! We had a great stay!

We loved our stay in Romeo’s apartment. Perfect location an easy walk to town and everything you need. Plus a lovely view over the river. Romeo was there to greet us and was very accommodating and was always quick to respond. It was so nice that they provided all the essential food you would need for breakfast as well. You won’t regret staying there, if we’re ever in Coimbra again we will definitely be booking Romeo’s!

I had such a great time staying at this place! The location couldn’t be better – just a few minutes walk from the beach, which made it super convenient to pop over for a surf session or a stroll along the shore. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The host was really helpful and easy to communicate with, which made everything run smoothly. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay, and I’d definitely come back!

Loved our stay in the apartment! Beautiful flat with a nice outdoor section in a apartment block close to the beach and all facilities (shops, restaurants, playground, skatepark etc). The apartment was very clean and well maintained. There is parking directly in front of the door. Communication with Joel was easy and he was always accessible and professional. Would come back anytime!

Isabel has taken much consideration when appointing her space. It was well stocked, walking distance to markets and shopping. We would definitely stay again when in Coimbra.

We had a really nice stay here. The views from the pool are incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of trails a short drive away. My partner used the canoe and went out on the lake. The owner lives next door and is very relaxed and friendly. We took our dog and she got on very well with his two dogs. If you have a baby it’s worth asking in advance if you need a cot as we didn’t do this and one wasn’t available. If your baby is very mobile it wouldn’t be very safe on the pool deck as there is a big-ish drop.

Nice apartment very close to the bus and train stations. Next to a great cafe too. Walkable easily to the centre of town. Miguel is a responsive host who is easy to communicate with, and I am grateful for the assistance.

Davis is a wonderful host who met us at the apt and walked us through accessing everything. He recommended several sights was great at answering questions.

Tiago was available when we checked in and immediately provided linens for the pullout (we neglected to inform before checking in). Location great, it was easy for us to maneuver all over town and across the river to restaurants, landmarks and shopping. Location can be a bit noisy so if you have a hard time sleeping, bring ear plugs. Had good pizza from across the street and a delicious dinner down the street with incredible view. Thanks!

Apartment very close to the old town, and with all the comforts of being able to leave the car at the door to unload, and parking 50 meters away (€22). Very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. New and comfortable bed and sofa bed. The air conditioning works perfectly. Kitchen with everything you need and clean. The smoke extractor doesn't work well. It's the only small complaint I have. Good service and communication with the agency. Finding the apartment was difficult, because on the 2nd and 3rd floors there is a first door and then the door of each of the 2 apartments. They didn't explain it to me and it was confusing. It is a highly recommended apartment in every aspect and to be repeated!

A great place to stay close to F/ Foz located in Buarcos. Comfortable beds, super well equipped kitchen and ample space to live. Communication was good and Aida was very proactive to get news or provide whatever needed. I would recommend this apartment for families who want to be close enough to the beach and amenities while being in a quiet neighbourhood.

Ana and her husband were amazing hosts. When we arrived we were greeted like we were family. This is a typical portuguese house with lots of charm. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful garden as it was raining. If we ever go back to Figueira, we will definately stay here again.
