Waterfront vacation rentals in Coimbra District

The hotel is located in a beautiful location, the room is clean, it was possible to take a heater. There is a shared kitchen downstairs where you can heat up food and make tea.

The apartment was great for our brief stay. Host was very friendly and flexible with us for our check in. Apartment is in a great location for walking to restaurants as well as the beach.

Great place, everything as advertised, amazing views and sunlight.

Apartment as described , Renata is always attentive giving facilities for everything both for arrival and departure and for the changes sheets, I was in the apartment 2 months and I was really very happy if I go back to Figueira to work I will definitely communicate with Renata.

We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the quiet location right on the beach (where you can walk for miles)! The apartment and amenities are exactly as shown in the photos and in the description. Simone and her family were incredibly nice, available at all times and gave us great recommendations. The check in/check out and even a rebooking was also very flexible and uncomplicated. Thank you for that!! :-)

We stayed at Casa Zen in October/ November and felt at home from the first second! Eric was always available, for concerns or for directions! The view was breathtaking! Rarely seen such a great starry sky and had such a peace and quiet! Absolutely recommended to just switch off and relax. Also 2.3 rainy days were not a problem. With the fireplace, the apartment warms up quickly. Eric also likes to support you if you have no idea of fire like us! There is much to do in the area, Tomar, for example, is worth a visit! However, you definitely need a rental car and have to be reasonably good on your feet! Good supermarkets such as Continente are about 20 minutes by car! An absolute recommendation is fig. de Foz, breathtaking waves, great beach! About 1.5 hours away! We will be happy to come back again in the summer!

We had a lovely time with my family. The essentials for the 2 infants were a plus. We appreciated Angela's responsiveness who didn't hesitate to move when we had a concern. The calm and river nearby is a great plus. We were able to do padel and canoe. Recommended for family time. I will definitely come back.

Sjoerd and Joana's house is all you need to disconnect feeling like home. Sjoerd and Joana have lent us their beautiful house where nothing is missing. The village of Quiaos and its beach is perfect for rest, strolling along the beach and sitting in a chiringuito to watch the sunset. From there we were able to hike to Porto, Aveiro or Coimbra. The communication is perfect by highway. Dinners in the patio listening to the sea in the distance will never be forgotten. Silence, rest, nature, beaches, tourism all gathered in one place. We as a group of 8 people and 4 furry friends had an amazing time at Casa Toupeira, the check-in was flawless and the house was perfect to spend a relaxed couple of days during the New Year’s Eve, our dogs loved the extra outdoor space and that was what really stood out in the first place in the booking process. The cozy rooms with AC heating an fully equiped kitchen were perfect and the to top it of a great hosting experience with Jolanda that always kept being responsive and attentive, will surely recommend and possibly come back for other occasions.

Carlos’ and Helene’s apartment is exquisite. Only 10 mins from Coimbra it is a beautifully restored cottage that is warm and inviting, but the most welcoming component is without doubt the hosts. Helene met us at check-in and in addition to giving us the full rundown on the property and it's surrounds, encouraged us to enjoy the surrounding bounty of fruit and produce, showed us the leisure equipment they offered and walked us through the use of electrical amenities. Next came the best surprise of all. The kitchen. Because our stay exceeded 3 nights our magnificent, thoughtful hosts had stocked the fridge with continental breakfast options and offered us locally produced honey and Olive Oil. It was such a thoughtful and generous act that really touched us. During our time both Carlos and Helene regularly touched base to see if all was ok and on leaving wished us safe travels for the rest of our journey. I can’t recommend it highly enough, do yourself a favour and stay.

One of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at anywhere in the world. Incredible views and so peaceful that you may not want to leave the property. Our family of 5 paddleboarded on the river and spent a lot of time in the huge pool. We walked with the goats and chickens and had several meaningful exchanges with Peter, who is a special guy and has a lot of insight on the area and it's history. There are pre-Roman and Roman era stone structures and ruins scattered around and loads of wildlife. The place itself was charming and very comfortable and had everything we needed for an amazing stay.

The accommodation is even more beautiful than in the photos. We had a great time!

The space was beautifully designed with amazing style and decor, and the large windows offered breathtaking views of the city. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the central location made exploring Coimbra so easy. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, responsive, and accommodating. They provided a pack and play and a booster chair for our son, which made our stay even more convenient. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a stylish, well-equipped, and centrally located place to stay in Coimbra, this is it! Highly recommend!

Excellent! A very nice place to go on vacation. The house is beautiful , with everything we need to spend a few weeks on vacation . The view we have of the Ocean is wonderful. Mr. António is very attentive . I highly recommend it.

It was the second time my in-laws stayed in this peaceful and very welcoming home near the beach, it was a great experience without a doubt.

The host was very friendly, despite a very late check-in, he was waiting for us . We received a welcome basket where he thought of important products for the first day of the stay. We received links with instructions on the Internet, codes, etc. It was amazing how we asked the host to book a table in a restaurant, even though he couldn't get through on the first day, he remembered And the next day he booked us a table for dinner . The neighborhood was beautiful, the view of the ocean, the pool , the peace , the two terraces . I highly recommend this place to everyone. As feedback to new guests, in summary, we can say that it is an excellent option, in the “cost x benefits” ratio! The room is in accordance with the announced photos and amenities. The site is very nice and is located a few meters from Rua Ferreira Borges, that is, new guests should consider the fact that they will be in the heart of the Historic Centre of Coimbra. The set of opportunities to live together and get to know, will make us return to Coimbra and, of course, again we will be staying with our dear Host Elsa. We present our thanks to the Host! Marco's place was excellent. Clean, quiet, comfortable and had a great parking space in a garage within the building. We were able to access the parking before official check-in too which was really nice. The space is just amazing. Great value for the location and easily walkable to all the sites, while still being quiet. LOTS of space and good views. The bed is comfortable. Getting into and out of the parking lots itself is a bit tricky (which is not uncommon in Porto) but the space itself is large and easily fit. And patience and an extra trip around the block was fine to get into the lot - and knowing that drivers seem pretty accustomed to slowing (or stopping) to let people get into building garages. Marcio had lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. It was a very well run place and it has an elevator which was a bonus at the end of our stay with tired feet.
