Owls Cottage @ Brooklands Farm Cottages

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved the Owls, we had an amazing stay. Very easy to find, lovely peaceful location. Beautiful settings and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. The hot tub was amazing, stayed super hot all night, matched with the blackness of night. Luckily we had a clear sky and was amazing to see all the stars. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Ben & Katheryn were very hospitable, even leaving us a bottle of champagne for valentine’s. Very nice touch and was a pleasure to meet you ! I have no doubt we will be back !

Remote Thatch Cottage on Dartmoor with Hot Tub

EliciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
As a family we had the best weekend at Miranda’s home. The whole place was so comfortable, with the kitchen views, hot tub, family rooms, and downstairs wet room a highlight. It was such a good base for lots of walks and pubs but be prepared for the hills!! Everything was perfect and everything we could have expected, we were so happy and ended up having the nicest relaxing weekend. Miranda is a lovely, kind host who always made me feel welcome and that I could have asked anything. 100% recommend to anyone else considering this stay :)

Cramwell Cottage, The Ley Arms

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

‘The Nest’ A beautiful cottage in Devon

TomRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent two nights at The Nest and wished it could be more. Very peaceful and so easy to get to. 20 mins from Lyme Regis meant our days were full of activities and the hot tub was used morning and evening! Well worth a visit; a lovely place.

Higher Lodge, Devon thatched cottage

KellyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absoloute Hidden Gem, 300 year old cottage very homely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and lots of walks especially for our Jack russell Reggie who had an amazing time, cottage is absoloutley as described and exactly as the photos show, shame about the downstairs toilet being blocked but with two ensuites in the bedrooms this wasn't an issue, and Ceri and Daniel were very responsive to the issue, you do need to go careful coming down the stairs,as my husband found out on the first night 🤣 but some very lovely features with an added bonus of a hot tub which we made full use of,hosts very responsive and helpful would highly recommend to friends and family x

West Farleigh Dutch Barn

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Six of us (and Stevie the spaniel 🐶) stayed at Jenny’s place to celebrate a 30th birthday and we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. We were absolutely spoilt with the (unexpected) sunshine and idyllic countryside views and we particularly enjoyed a walk of the surrounding area on the Saturday. The barn itself had everything we needed, and more, and the additional bits of luxury (cinema room, pool table, hot tub) made it all the more special. Jenny was responsive, approachable and allowed early check in which was greatly appreciated. As an extra treat, we hired LeFrog (a local private chef) for one of the evenings which we would 100% recommend to any future guests. Overall, a wonderful stay - and we’ve already spoken about coming back for more celebrations!

Charming Cottage, Sea Views, 1 min walk to Harbour

FrankieRating, 5 starstoday
I have stayed at a lot of Air B&Bs. But none of them come close to this property. If I’m honest, the photos & description do not do it justice. It has EVERYTHING you need. Every detail of this property is perfect, feels like home, so comfy, incredibly clean!! I needed a peaceful break to escape reality and this provided just that & more. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Cottage with a view of Beer village near to beach

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

Quaint Cottage near moors & beaches, dog friendly.

LouRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic few days at Gill’s cottage. It’s absolutely beautiful with everything we needed, so much so that we didn’t want to venture out although we did pop out for a drink at the local pub a minute walk away which is a great pub with very friendly staff. Gill has clearly gone to a lot of trouble to make the cottage a home from home. Gill herself is warm and friendly and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Gill for helping to make our anniversary so special. We can’t wait to come back.x

This cottage is an absolute gem! Really cosy and comfortable, with stunning views across the bay. For us it was the perfect base for meeting up with family in Plymouth. Everything was pristine and as photographed in the details, and communicating with William was a dream.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Chocolate box Cottage in the heart of Devon

LizRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Jasmine Cottage was a wonderful little place to stay. Despite being a very old property the renovations have been tastefully carried out and it retained all the original charm with modern day convenience. I liked that it has its own self contained garden which was perfect for my dog. I especially loved the living room with its cosy wood burner and comfortable sofa. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything that I needed and I enjoyed cooking in it. The cottage was warm throughout my stay even without the wood burner going. There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was always warm. Upstairs both bedrooms were lovely and the room I stayed in had a very comfortable bed and again was warm and cosy. The location is very rural and quiet which was exactly what I was hoping for. I had a wander around the village and visited the very pretty church. People I met were friendly. The purpose of my trip was for complete rest and relaxation and that’s exactly what I got.

Cosy 17th century Grade II listed cottage ,Totnes

MarkRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a great stay with Tim and Lesley. The Cottage is beautiful and well situated close to the towns of Totnes and Paignton and a short drive to Dartmouth and Salcombe. Tim’s local tips on walking and driving routes were particularly useful. The nearest town in Totnes is walkable and has lots of nice bars and restaurants and a great vibe. The Cottage is beautiful, clean and has a great view of the stars of an evening. Would recommend. Thanks again!

Superb Bijou Retreat with Jacuzzi near village pub

PaulaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Detached cottage in a quiet lane near town centre

LauraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Eleanor’s cottage. The location is great, really close to the centre of Totness with quick access to great beaches and stunning countryside. Eleanor has some great recommendations in her welcome folder, particular faves were the independent cinema, Indian restaurant and Man beach. The house is well decorated and furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to visit again

Luxury self-catering getaway in Salcombe

JoyceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Two of us have just returned from a six night stay at Garden Cottage. There was a welcome tray when we arrived which was welcome. The house and garden were peaceful and the gardens were beautiful even in March. You can walk down to North Beach in about 15 minutes and have a lovely cream tea in the Winking Pawn restaurant. You can walk down to Salcombe but it is a steep walk back uphill. Victoria answered our queries straight away. The cottage is a home from home, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot water in the shower. There are lots of National Trust houses to visit within drivable distance. Overbeck’s Garden is one you should not miss. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Cider Barn - Idyllic All-Seasons Holiday Cottage

KayeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The views from Cider Barn are so beautiful. We watched a barn owl hunting over the fields at dusk and dawn and the sound of a tawny owl whit wooing as I was going to sleep was magical! The living room / kitchen / dining is light and open plan and when I was there the sun was streaming in from sunrise to sunset. Loved watching the sunset with the owl hunting! Really enjoyed my stay here. It's an old barn - so the floor boards are a bit creaky but it is a special place.

Wren Cottage, Brixham

NicholasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A cosy cottage, with delightful wonkiness. We made use of the log burner, as it was still chilly in February. A quiet location which was an easy walk into town (with a real kicker of a hill at the end though – I’m glad it wasn’t icy!). David’s Fish & Chips were great as recommended, and Albero’s in town did delicious Italian style seafood. I’d happily stay again.
