We loved our stay at A Peaceful Place! The cabin was perfect, clean and just like the pictures, and the hot tub was amazing after exploring and enjoying all that eastern Tennessee has to offer. The bed was so comfortable that we slept in late every day of our visit. We definitely plan to stay here again!

My friend and I enjoyed the babbling creek, the quaint cottage, and the chickens that were wandering the property. Ryan, the caretaker, was super responsive on any questions we had and he helped us navigate in through the road closures. Our stay was peaceful and easy, so we'll be back!!

Such a great destination get away! Views are impeccable and directly from the cabin makes it the cherry on top!! Enough outdoor things to do and see in the surrounding. Kids stayed busy with the arcade loft and enjoyed the stay. Our fur babies loved the yard to roam as well. Great trip and cabin.

Second trip here, we drove our minivan & it only scraped the bottom a couple of times on the way up gravel driveway, so, honestly, and vehicle could do the drive if we could! We used loft space as well as lower bedrooms, all comfortable & spacious. It was gloriously warm for February, perfect for reading on the deck, hiking, cold plunging in the creek & hot tub. We love the solitude & especially love that our sweet dog can join us here!!!

Pros: the place was spacious, pristine, and had many convenient features and items you may need. The views are absolutely astounding. Plenty of seating and bathrooms for everyone. The kids LOVED the place. Elevator was super nice to have. Cons: We’ve never stayed in the mountains before so we were unaware with this issue possibly being common but we had some trouble getting up the driveway the first time. It’s VERY steep gravel with a curve so you can’t just gun it up there. We also had some issues with the washer and dishwasher tripping breakers. We couldn’t get the washer to work so we were without that for most of our time there. Also this place is about a 30 min drive from any of the major attractions and like a decent store really, so be prepared for that. However I was able to get a Walmart delivery right to the house which was nice! All in all, a beautiful place. Just make sure you plan trips out accordingly and have a vehicle that’ll get you up the driveway.

We stayed here for the main portion of our anniversary trip. It had beautiful views, was peaceful and quiet, and was the perfect place to stay! Make sure to follow his instructions on how to find it, it can be a little tricky the first time but his instructions were clear and helpful! We’d love to come back in the future!

loved our stay!! Driving up the road to the house took some getting used to, being from Michigan it was definitely a climb 😂 the creek in the back was so beautiful and peaceful. It was such a great time. I felt at home, and slept great, which can be hard at some airbnb's . We really fell in love with the town. We would definitely stay here again. Anita was always quick to respond, and everything was in perfect order.

The place is more beautiful in person than in photos. The views can’t be captured in photos, you have to be there to experience it. The bed and linens are comfortable and the water pressure in the showers is quite impressive! We’ve stayed at other cabins where that was an issue but certainly not here. Perfect size kitchen for a getaway. The hosts are so kind. We even got a little birthday/anniversary when we got there. We will be back !

The place was exactly as it looked in the listing and was quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of outside seating and the provided fire wood for the wood pit was a great bonus. The overlook was particularly nice to feel like you were in the woods but only steps from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This place is cute and cozy the porch is beautiful. We had no problem finding it the check-in was super easy. This place is perfect if you want to be away from all the chaos of Galiberg and peigon forge. We will definitely use this place again.

We loved the cabin!! Sitting in the enclosed porch and listening to the creek water run down the mountain was very relaxing. Max Patch is just down the road and we went and saw the sunrise one morning. Thanks for the hospitality and for sharing your cabin!

Stayed 6 days and had a wonderful stay. Host and co host were very responsive before and during stay. Do not have any complaints at all. Only thing we wished with a stinky toddler that we didn’t have to keep the old trash in the house but is understandable as the bears in the area. Again had a wonderful week stay and would highly recommend felt at home cozy.

My family loved our stay on the farm. We already miss all the animals! The farm cats are a hoot. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The decor was beautiful. The beds were super comfy. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. We hope to be back in the future!
