Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Clinton County

Wow!! These hosts go all out! From the bowl of jelly beans by the door to the bowls of snacks on the counter to the toiletries basket in the bathroom to the selection of scented oils for the mister in the bedroom, it was clear they thought out every detail of what a guest might need! I've never felt so thoroughly welcomed and taken care of! Every room of the house was clutter-free and sparkling clean. Big, beautiful home with airy interior design. Back yard is private with a solid fence. Shiela was lovely, and I also greatly enjoyed the company of a calm dog, a very enthusiastic little floof of a puppy, and a calm friendly cat. Really lovely stay, I highly recommend staying here if you're lucky enough to snag an opening!!

I wish I could rate this home 6 stars. It is beautiful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The two bedrooms are great and very comfortable, and they actually have anything you might need in terms of toiletries. Corey was super responsive and helpful, he quickly answered the few questions that I had. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a small getaway.

We had a great stay at Shannon’s place! It was easy to find and just at like the photos. Cozy and clean and in a beautiful location. Shannon was a great host! Very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Let me start by saying, as beautiful as the pictures were, they didn’t do it justice. The views were second to none. We enjoyed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT on the back porch overlooking the insanely gorgeous water. My girls were on the water ALL day,kayaking and paddle boarding. We brought our boat that we kept at the private dock so we could beepop along the water whenever we wanted!!!! The house literally had everything you could possibly think of as a convenience (spices, cookware, extra refrigeration, amazing parking) We needed and wanted for nothing!!!!!! Hot tub overlooking the lake and Ping pong in the basement was an added bonus for the kids. An absolute oasis in a quiet neighborhood. Kids could ride bikes without the anxiety of cars zipping by. Carrie is a stellar host! I was able to communicate with her and received immediate responses! She even gave us ideas for dining and activities!!!Can’t rave enough about our time at “ Smooth Sailing”. Recommend to anyone and everyone!!!!

This was a great place for my friends and I to spend an extended weekend! Hans was great and always responded to questions/requests quickly. I will say the previous reviews about the water smelling like sulfur are true but we just brought our own water and it was fine. The lake was great and we had beautiful star gazing views from the dock! We would definitely stay here again.

Hans was great ! The house is huge and would be great for a large family or large group of friends. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The location of the house is great and it has a huge yard with a fire pit and another fire pit overlooking the Lake. Sunsets are beautiful from there!

Quiet and restful. Spent some time walking the trails across the street. Had breakfast at the Hungry Bear in Plattsburgh and loved that too.

Always love to stay at the lodge at Point Au Roche! Beautiful lobby with fireplace, full kitchen, stunning surroundings, and comfortable well-appointed rooms are always an attraction. Even though it was getting colder, we enjoyed wine at the fire pit at the back of the house. The Flower room has a lovely gas fireplace and Jacuzzi tub and a private balcony with seating. The lodge is right across the street from stunning Point Au Roche park, where there are a variety of hikes with stunning views of the cliffs and points of Lake Champlain. When we were there, we saw loons and grouse. In season there is a small beach at the park as well. I would definitely recommend staying at the lodge. It’s an experience. Be aware that there is no host on site after weekday hours, although the cleaning staff are responsive and there daily. The kitchen has basics like tea and coffee, but you will need to bring your own food.

We had a fantastic stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. If we needed anything, Jon and Sergio were on it! Everyone was extremely welcoming and willing to help with any questions we needed. The property was perfectly situated on the lake, right near some really nice trails we explored with our dog. I can't imagine how awesome it would be staying here during the summer having the lake steps away! We also got a surprise with a new bathroom that they had just finished renovating. Overall, we would love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone :)

Easily one of our favorite air bnb’s. Super cozy, rustic, quiet yet updated and extremely clean. The hot tub was the cleanest we’ve ever had at an air bnb. Surrounded by quiet woods, close to Wilmington, lake placid, and whiteface. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We’re already looking forward to next year.
