Close to SUNY and CCC campuses and UVM/CVPH hospital. Airport is 5 minutes away. Lake Champlain and boat basin are only a 5 minute walk. Lake Placid, Burlington and Montreal are an hour or less away. Plenty of parking for vehicles and anglers with their boats. Lots of local history to explore.

The retreat is an Adirondack Great Camp located in beautiful seclusion while still maintaining a reasonable distance to Burlington, Montreal, Lake Placid and Plattburgh, New York. It is near two mountain lakes as well. The retreat is close to the airport. You’ll love this destination because of the outdoors space ideal for bike riding and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

We all loved staying there. The house is not big but the layout is so practical and well done that it doesn’t matter - the house is one of the cleanest we stayed at, the kitchen is very well equipped, the linens and towels are abundant and very comfortable, the decor is amazing, there are tons of games and Dunja left snacks and water as a welcome… I usually don’t consider rebooking because I like to explore new places but I can definitely consider staying there again and again

This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! This was my second stay at Four Pines and I can promise it won't be my last. Everything about the place—the beautiful setting, the quality of the accommodations, the thoughtful and complete attention to detail, the friendliness of the hosts—was perfection. I found myself getting cranky during my last two days and realized the reason was because I knew I had to leave soon. I have already locked-in my dates for a return stay next year. Superlatives don't tell the tale, however—you need to stay here and experience the magic for yourself! You will not regret it. Four Pines is simply the best, and you will always feel right at home. If I could give it five hundred stars—I would.

This is probably one of the best homes we have stayed at in Airbnb. The pictures do not capture just how wonderful this home and the land it is on. The home is decorated really nicely, very colorful, with lots of nice stain glass. The entire home is very comfortable, including the beds and pillows, and there are many places to sit and relax. There are a lot of kitchen amenities and the home is uncluttered and spotlessly clean. The yard is so nice to spend time in and the hot tub is great. There aren't any pics of it but it is the kind with jets and big enough for 2 adults. My only regret is not staying longer!

My partner and I had a great stay for a few nights and absolutely loved the cabin. It’s even nicer in person than the photos and the private, quiet property was the perfect escape for us and our dog to relax after hiking in the Adirondacks. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking easy, it was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Bruce and his caretaker also were quick to help us if we needed anything. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

the pictures absolutely do not do it justice we were looking out at a beautiful painting from every one of the windows it was more quiet than any other Airbnb we've ever been at truly looking forward to coming back again Adam was a great communicator and cared about everything gave us great advice on where and when to go and was completely flexible have no words to describe how beautiful our stay was it was a great value
