Lake house vacation rentals in Cleveland

Michael was very responsive to the text message. The house was nice the only thing I did not like was the home being older it was heated by radiators and with a toddler I had to make sure I didn't take my eyes off of her. But once I told her not to touch she didn't touch. The house was clean and all the linen seemed fresh. I wouldn't mind staying here again as it was perfect location for us

We travel often as a homeschooling family. My 9 year old picked Cleveland and Brian’s Airbnb as her birthday trip. Unfortunately, the night before our check in, there were some issues at Brian’s Airbnb with plumbing — but fortunately, he is an incredible host and person and let us know he was moving us to another beautiful location. “Above and beyond” is an understatement. He even sent my daughter donuts for her birthday. Brian was kind, responsive, honest and helpful. We all fell in love with Cleveland and will recommend Brian’s properties to everyone we know. Highly recommend this host!

From the start, Holly was quick and responsive. This little house was perfect for the two of us and our hound. Neighborhood was adorable- perfect to walk the dog. Out the door, down the driveway, to the right- and a little walk later we were at the lakeside! Charming houses the whole route. I was worried about no TV, but we didn't miss it at all! We walked across the street for breakfast at Gus's. Nothing amazing here but it was nice to be able to walk there. We were in town for a game at Cleveland Browns field and the drive into downtown was easy (be aware they close exits). Place was clean and had everything you need. It was thoughtful that she supplied coffee, a few snacks, and treats for the dog. Even had make- up wipes and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. Towels were so soft! Communication was great! Check in instructions were clear , making sure we didn't need anything, & check out instructions were easy. Pics were spot on and descriptions of place were exact.

We stayed at Jessica's place during the solar eclipse and we will be back whenever we come to Cleveland! The house was nice and comfortable. The pool was AMAZING! The deck looks out to a beautiful natural park and lake. I have shy kids, ages 4 and 8, and Jessica was FANTASTIC with them. They LOVED her friendly cats and dog. they say it's their favorite AirBnB ever, and last year we stayed at a literal castle in Italy, so that's saying something.

Stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday. The home is as described and lives up to its dozens of excellent reviews. Spotlessly clean, great linens, comfortable beds, etc etc. Communication was excellent and knowing we were in town for the holiday they even added a leaf to the table for us in advance. We had a great stay and would definitely come again.

Deborah’s place was clean, convenient and very comfortable. Owners were very responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely visit again , if available.

Melissa is an amazing host!!! I was so happy to find her place. Her place is super comfy and relaxing. Too cold to be outside too much but view of the lake is amazing from inside too. Loved being able to hear the sound of the wayes!!! Short and easy drive downtown. This listing will not disappoint!

My husband and I went to Ohio to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was a real treat to stay in a quaint, quiet place on the lake. We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home, very spacious! And the host is very nice and responsive! Totally recommend it!

Trae is wonderful. He was responsive and very helpful. I love the location. It was easy to get downtown to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Art Museum as well as other sites. Trae's place is really close to the Westside Market and The Christmas Story House. There are plenty of grocery stores and excellent restaurants in the neighborhood also.

Had a great stay - perfect location for downtown Clev, parking in back was a huge plus! Jesse was great host quick response the place was clean and felt totally at home ! Will definitely stay again or check out any other places Jesse has. 2 thumbs up … more if I had ‘em… thnx Jesse

The hostess was very gracious and proud of the home. Ample parking space. The hostess was very communicative and timely in responding. All questions were answered promptly. Will stay here again. The home is tastefully decorated, bedrooms clean and spacious, bathrooms very clean. It is a older home so small kitchen space but it did have 3 kitchens.

Charming little place with everything we needed for our trip with me and three girlfriends. Would recommend. John was very proactive and responsive with communication.

Host was VERY quick to respond, the place was exactly what I expected. I actually wish I could’ve met them, they seem like great people. I did meet another guests and he talked very highly of them…. Neighborhood seemed a little run down, I made sure a few times that I locked my truck at night!

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

My husband and I stayed with our daughter, son-in-law, five-year-old grandson, and nine-month-old granddaughter. This home was absolutely heavenly. We loved it so much and did not want to leave. The neighborhood is beautiful, the home is beyond description and is exactly as the pictures show, only even BETTER. Vanessa was so generous to us and gave us many tips and her kids were generous with their toys for our grandchildren. The backyard is beautiful and fun with the trampoline and the tire swing. If we were ever coming back to Ohio, we would definitely book at this lovely Rocky River home again!!

Marissa’s home Definitely beat stay a hotel because we had all the convenience of a hotel with a stay at home feel. I was able to cook at my leisure with the updated kitchen and amenities which was a plus for me.

This house was perfect for our family. A large kitchen and gathering area made our family reunion in the area so enjoyable. The house had all the needed amenities and was located centrally to all that Avon Lake and the surrounding Cleveland area has to offer. I would not hesitate to stay again should the occasion arise.
