Cottage vacation rentals in Clearview

The place was top notch and host was awesome. His communication was clear, honest and helpful.

This cottage is truly memorable and magical. Easy to access, only 1 hour and 40 mins from downtown Toronto and right off a major highway. Yet, set so far back from the road and behind a stunning forest so it's completely quiet and peaceful. No noise, no neighbours (unless you count the moose we heard calling to each other and the many bunnies). The space inside is open and cozy and perfectly cottagey. The hot tub was glorious and worked very well, and super easy to use. We can't wait to come back in the warmer months so we can explore the massive property while staying warm!

We had a truly relaxing stay at Sarah & Stu’s place, and our little one absolutely loved it too! The cozy fireplace made the space feel extra warm and inviting, and they were kind enough to help us light it, before check-in and during our stay. Although the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t see the sunset, we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed our indoor time. I also got a chance to enjoy unwinding in the hot tub — the perfect way to relax despite the rain. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful and cozy retreat!

Really enjoyed our stay at Kris’s place on Lake Simcoe! Our family of five enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the cold weather, and nice quiet morning walks around the neighborhood. The place was sparkling clean. We felt cozy and right at home. The fireplace on a snowy evening and watching a movie on the big tv was a great memory for us. Not too far from a variety of restaurants. There was construction going on next door but it never bothered us during the hours that we were outside. The only thing that was unexpected was that we had to bring all towels that we would need for showers and hot tub during our stay, which thankfully Kris reminded me of before we travelled. I thought it was advertised that towels were provided. Other than this issue the stay was perfect! Thank you Chris! Highly recommend for someone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful areas. Well equipped and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Short walk to lake and convenience store. One of the very few pet friendly Airbnb in the city and I am sure it is the best too. We will definitely come back next summer! Thanks, Stephen 🩷🥳

The cottage is so beautiful and has so much space. Many outdoor activities to do nearby, but we mostly stayed in, the place is equipped with all the things you need to have the perfect getaway. We loved the hot tub and sauna! The hosts were amazing, always proactive and responsive! Will definitely be back! :)

Place was a great location for an out of town job for our company

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! Definitely would visit again. Thanks Jenny and Bob!

Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

We stayed for an extended weekend out at the cottage. The pictures of the space honestly looked far to good to be true and I expected the space to not look quite as picture perfect. But wow was I wrong. The space is absolutely beautiful. Its the perfect cozy romantic lake cottage that feels right out of a movie. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfy, the living room has so much space... everything you could need for a winter getaway from the city. During our stay, there was a snowstorm in the area. We were unable to drive all the way up to the cottage, as there is a steep hill right before the cottage. However we were able to park right before the hill and it was only a 20/30 second walk to the cabin. Super easy even during a squall. And the cottage is only a 10 min walk max to the general store/bakery/deli/etc... in the town. The town is small but super quaint and cute, everything you want in a little charming laketown. Overall the stay was everything we wanted!

Well, we loved the place. The cottage looks much better than it is in the pictures. We enjoyed inside, surrounding and fire pit. Anthony was very responsive and he let us stayed 1:30 hours extra on the checkout day which was extremely nice. Hoping to visit again in the summer 2025.

We absolutely loved the cottage it was perfect for our week at the beach. The beach itself was just steps away and was absolutely beautiful with calm,clear water and friendly neighbours. There is a strong sense of community in the area. We really loved the outdoor shower which was a family favourite. We will defiantly come back to this cottage again and again if we can.

We absolutely loved the Christmas Era of this lovey place. Highly recommend coming out to play in the snow! The hot tub and fireplace made for a stunning getaway and we deeply enjoyed the game selection. The nearby towns are quaint and friendly. Highly recommend getting away from it al here.

We stayed at this wonderful place for the second time, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The amenities provided are exactly what we’re used to in our own home, which made our stay even more comfortable. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to ensure we had a relaxing time. The hosts have clearly put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment, and we appreciate the attention to detail. We felt completely at ease throughout our stay and look forward to returning again in the future. Highly recommended!

The location is beautiful! The view from the house is a classic Miskoka lake view. The lake is peaceful and large enough to provide lots of places to explore in the rowboat. The house is directly beside an open forest and the forest is easy to walk through, with lots of open space under fairly mature deciduous trees. Another small lake is a short walk away through the forest, and is even more untouched and peaceful. The house was nicely decorated and climate controlled. However, the second and third bedrooms are tight, some of the finishes in the kitchen central areas are fairly worn, and there is evidence of past pets on the fabrics and behind furniture.

Vivian is a great host and very responsive. The description is very accurate and the property has all the amenities. The kitchen is very spacious and the patio is lovely. We spent a great afternoon on the lake thanks to the kayaks and canoe provided by the hosts. They even have kid-size life jackets prepared so our 2-year-old son could join us for the water sports. During our stay, we happened to break a couple of the parts in the fridge by accident. Our communication with Vivian was smooth and she dealt with it very professionally. She was able to find the parts online and bill us via airbnb. Our reimbursement process was smooth and easy as well. We were aware that the water coming from the tap was not recommended for drinking before our arrival. However, we did notice there's some smell of rust coming from the hot water which made our shower less pleasant. Overall we had a great time at Vivian's place and I'd recommend it to anyone who would enjoy a peaceful time by the lake.

Went to James's place for some well deserved R & R and we got it. Lovely location, great swimming, the sun was shining, sand was golden, water was perfect. All the amenities we needed. Great to sit by the fire at night and enjoy the sun set. Loved the outdoor shower.
