Jenny was an amazing host. Super responsive. The view was stunning. Day or night. I cannot wait to go back! Very clean and comfortable. Very close to some good restaurants. Not too far from Helen. The home was beautiful. Honestly, there was no need to leave, this place had all the amenities.

The house exceeded our expectations! Our family ranged in ages 3 to 87, and the layout of the house was perfect and offered something for everyone. The bedding was terrific and kitchen very well stocked and all the linens/towels we needed. There were wonderful Thanksgiving memories made here thank you for hosting your home for our holiday. I would highly recommend this home for a large group, just beautiful inside and out...

Attention to details was obvious by the cleanliness of the property. Only had time to sleep and shower there due to family reunion schedule in Hayesville. Would have loved to spent every morning there enjoying the magnificent sunrise over the lake and use of the firepit and porches. A gorgeous home!

This house was beyond amazing. We booked during a snow event and they are serious about 4 wheel drive in certain conditions. The views of the lake through snow covered trees were amazing. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Having a fireplace on the porch really is a nice touch. We were also impressed at how cleverly the dog run was laid out, which gives them access to an entire balcony as well as the lawn below it. Plenty of room for our 2 families and we hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake activities.

I stayed at Mary’s while attending a class at John C Campbell folk school. Her place was very close by, and easy to find. It was exactly what I needed….a cozy room to retreat to after a long day of making pottery. She had everything I needed to make coffee in the morning, and even made me some homemade zucchini pineapple bread! The next class that I attend at John C Campbell, I will try and stay with Mary again! Thank you!!!

We loved this cabin for its beautiful location, fun gameroom and overall comfortable space. My teens loved separated bedroom and gameroom space downstairs. It’s certainly a place we would rent again.

The Castle of Joy was everything my family needed. It was secluded, quiet and spacious. Most important it was comfortable. Definitely will return to this location.

This house was an oasis tucked in a beautifully wooded nook :) the view is just as stunning as the photos and even in the winter held so much beauty. Craig was helpful and proactive and we greatly appreciated his communication on our trip. We found the home to be warmly decorated and well stocked with everything we could need. “Perfect Mountain Retreat for Our Group!” Our recent stay at this cabin in Highlands, NC, was absolutely amazing! The property exceeded all our expectations. We were a group of 10 friends. The space was perfect for us. The living areas were spacious enough for all of us to hang out together, yet there were also plenty of cozy nooks for anyone who wanted a bit of quiet time. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals for a large group, and we loved gathering around the dining table to share stories and laughter. The outdoor space was a highlight—gorgeous views, a fantastic deck, awesome hot tub and plenty of seating to soak in the serene mountain atmosphere. The location was ideal, close to charming down downtown Highlands and Cashiers with great restaurants and shops, as well as beautiful hiking trails. The hosts were incredibly responsive and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this cabin and these hosts!

Beautiful house! The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking items we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving! :) In terms of planning your stay there, there are five owner closets in the house, so there is not a good place to hang clothes or store non perishable items. We have a wonderful family vacation there!

This is our family's go-to place when we visit family in Hayesville. Beautiful, quiet area with lots to do just outside of the area. The home is well kept, exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. The living area is open which is great for hanging out with plenty of bed/baths to retreat to. Views from the deck and bedrooms are stunning. Everything is always in working order. Host is wonderful - responsive to questions asked, though we haven't had many during our stays. Whether you're planning a family get together or a quiet getaway, this home will not disappoint.

We had a relaxing stay here! The view was incredible and it was very clean. A great way to start the new year!

The place was amazing, full fall colors, quiet on the mountain top. It was better than the photos. Enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing, sitting in the hot tub relaxing, hanging out of the living room relaxing. The kitchen was very nice, the grill and fire pit had propane which was awesome. We ended up extending two additional nights. Amanda helped with that since I couldn’t get the app to accept requested changes. We really enjoyed our time there, drove up to Bryson City and took the train ride, also incredible and we hit the fall colors perfectly. The Wi-Fi was easy to access, quality was not that great, I have Verizon and used data. Not that unexpected for the location. Amanda was very responsive and helped with every question we had. Great experience and would definitely go back.

Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Feels isolated but is only a few minutes from restaurants and grocery store. The goodie basket they had left for us and the guest book made the place feel very welcoming and personal. We loved it! Great place to stay if you’re looking to get some peace and scenic views.

It was wonderful days with family. We had a great time with the very cozy cabin and it has everything you need to make your stay more pleasant. I recommend them for your next vacation. I will definitely return
