Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Clarendon County

I visited the location for a Veterans Retreat sponsored by Black Veterans Village. Six of us stayed at the house. Accommodation received a rating of "Very Comfortable." While there were a few hiccups during the beginning of our visit, we were satified with the measures taken by the owners to address concerns. Their attentiveness and willingness was impressive. Despite the issues, the group and I left feeling satisfied and would definitely visit again. I am looking forward to our next retreat. Magdaline

Great place with a lake view and a cute little cafe across the street!

Overall it was a great stay. Laura was a wonderful host very responsive and kind. Like others said, it is dated and could definitely use some updates, but it was cozy. Kind of felt like grandma's house. But overall, it was a nice quiet stay close to everything

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving family trip! Mike was very responsive and given the chance, we would certainly be back!

Fabulous house! Jessica is very responsive. Beautiful high ceilings and wood floors. Kitchen stocked unbelievably well with coffee and basic condiments and there was a combo Keurig pod-pot machine as well as a French press and water heater. The three bathrooms were also well stocked and had nightlights. There were extra blankets in each of the three bedrooms and the living room. Beds all had memory foam toppers and sweet smelling soft sheets. We were there Dec 5-7 and there was even a Christmas tree! The nest thermostat was difficult to understand and we had some time of trial and error but once we figured out all its secrets things were good-we were there during temps of 20 degrees at night. 5 of us stayed there while visiting our mom who is in assisted/independent living and she joined us there for our gatherings (no railing on front porch steps only thing missing). We look forward to staying here again when we can use front porch and back screened porch!!

Our stay was very good. Lots of room for my family. The lake location was very peaceful. Michael was very responsive as a host and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe.

Perfect place to stay in Sumter! On a cute street, close enough to everything but quiet for restful stay. If you have little kids, definitely book this house! Tavares has a mini crib, high chair, books, toys, games, kids plate and silverware! Was a great home base for our visit to Sumter. Has a fenced in backyard which was great for our kids to run around. Felt very safe at this location too! Only a few minutes drive historic downtown Sumter and only a 5 minute drive to Swan Lake gardens and playground. We will definitely book again if this house is available the next time we visit Sumter!

Karen's place was lovely and with the most amazing views of Lake Marion. We and our boxer doggy loved staying here. Everything was comfortable and Karen was super helpful and responsive. Thanks Karen for letting us stay at your place and we look forward to being back!

We had a great, relaxing weekend at the house. The kids loved the pool, paddle boards, kayaks and getting to make s’mores on the fire. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Caroline and Stuart were very responsive with any needs.

The location is amazing. The view is worth every penny. The corner unit is private and we basically lived on the porch! We look forward to staying again in the future!

The place was inviting from the landscaping, the sitting areas outside (front and back) to the feeling of “home” once inside. Centrally located to various outings and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to beautiful lake. Terrance responded quickly to each request. Great experience!

This was a great last minute stop on my travels and well worth the price they accommodated me very well. They even helped me set my tent up when I arrived late night

This was our second time staying at this unit and we had a great time. We stayed last summer and we will be coming back every summer for some family fun time! Other than the WiFi not working we had such a great time. It’s a cute and cozy little place. Don’t really need the WiFi anyway! ;)

The place was clean and comfortable. Although the unit itself got quite cold at night, the space heaters kept the bedroom cozy. The bed itself was very comfortable!

Everything is as shown in photos. Host was friendly and accommodating with pets. He allowed my pitbull which was very nice and needed as they get a bad rep. We had an issue with how I booked my stay and he was very curtious and understanding and did not give a hard time about it.
