Vacation rentals with a sauna in Church-Wellesley, Old Toronto

As usual, we felt right at home in Anthony’s place. I have nothing but praise. This was our third or fourth stay and it is as great as ever. Anthony is a super host and this unit has become our place to stay when in Toronto.

Stayed here for 5 days in January 2025 and had a great experience! The location is secure and we felt safe the entire time. There are countless amazing restaurants within walking distance, and the facilities (gym especially) were outstanding. 10/10 highly recommend!

I was very impressed with everything about this listing. Ahead of time Sophia sent helpful videos on how to access the apartment, which were clear and easy to follow. She checked up on me on arrival to make sure there were no difficulties. The apartment is conveniently located opposite the subway and a vibrant street, yet is quiet and peaceful inside. It is only a short subway journey to the epicentre of Toronto and there are nice restaurants and shops locally too. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and I didn't find myself short of anything while staying there. I will definitely try to stay there again next time I visit Toronto. Strongly recommended.

We absolutely loved our place! This condo had the best location. CN tower is beautiful at night when you look out the balcony. Union Station is right across the street which was very convenient. We also learned to take the PATH that’s connected on the ground floor which meant we didn’t have to step foot outside at all to get around. There’s a nearby grocery store underground—very convenient!!! I loved that they offer a washer and dryer. Snacks were provided when we checked in (yay!). Both the couch and bed were comfortable. We felt at home for sure! Brett and Robyn have been flexible and communicative with us from day one and we really appreciate that. We will miss staying at their place.

The condo is very clean and nice. Check in was smooth. I will definitely come again.

Anne’s condo was the perfect place for our trip. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and was walking distance from the CN tower, Scotiabank Arena and Roger’s Centre! Anne was a lovely host and we would 100% recommend a stay here

Would definitely rent it again if staying downtown. Even in winter the PATH is right across the street. Great grocery store in basement of building. If I lived there I’d never cook!

Our visit was wonderful! Jon was responsive to our questions even before the visit, which helped a lot as we had our kids and grandkids coming. The 18 month old is toddling and we had lots of questions! The house is beautiful—spacious, light, comfortable, all the amenities you could wish for, all in good order and ready for use. The sauna/steam and hot tub facilities make it extra great but even without that it’s a wonderful home. You will sense the welcoming atmosphere right away. Lots of greenery; house and outside is fragrant with lavender and birds chirp in the backyard—just delightful! Jon‘s guidelines were really helpful and included places to eat, locations of parks and interesting stores . Neighborhood was fabulous—small businesses, organic foods, very walkable. I have no critiques—perhaps older renters may want to ask about sleeping and bathroom arrangements—there is no bedroom or bath on the main floor but steps up are manageable. Highest recommendation.

Calvin saved the day! We’d had a previous booking cancel on us at the last minute and he helped us secure his decadent property which was even better for our event. Thank you, Calvin! We needed a big home for our grown family to be together in to marry one of our sons from, and this was perfect! Each had their own space and bathrooms, the movie room, sauna, and steam room made it even more special for everyone. This home was a treat in itself, but it was what it provided our family at this special time, and the hospitality of our hosts that made it so memorable. We are locals and know the area well, yet it felt like we were on a vacation. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property and you won’t find better hosts. Thanks for the memories!

A cute and tastefully decorated place, in a lovely neighborhood. Hannah and Evan were great to communicate with and the house has everything you can ask for and more. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed at Sam’s place during a layover while heading to BC. After a long bus ride, the property proved to be just what was needed to relax before our flight. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was perfect, the laundry machines were an excellent addition. My favorite part was the rain shower since we arrived too late for the spa. We felt very comfortable watching some TV on the flat screen before heading to bed. The towel swans and roses were done up beautifully. We would definitely be giving Sam’a place another visit next time we are in Ontario visiting!

Definitely a paradise retreat, and in such a cute house! Spacious and private backyard oasis with the hot tub and sauna already warm for our immediate use upon arrival ... in wintry December! Night lighting amongst the evergreen gave a magical touch and the custom hourglass timer in the sauna was a creative & fun feature. Attention to details were carried throughout the homey interior with a cozy fireplace and quaint dormer bedrooms. Complementing the 1950's aesthetics were modern furnishings and geometric light fixtures. Will definitely recommend to Out-of-Towners and locals wanting a staycation.

Very comfy, no issues. Plenty of kitchen space, and having 4 showers meant there was no need to fight over bathrooms. The neighbourhood is also very quiet despite being close to a lot of restaurants.

Salah was very helpful and responsive, he was able accommodate our change in plans. The place is spacious, well maintained and all fitted equipments/furniture were really in good shape and top notch. We had a very good experience. Lovely neighborhood and close to square 1 mall and surroundings. The overall experience was worth what we paid for.
