Vacation rentals in Holy Island

Just an hour away from home felt a million miles away. Such a beautiful house in any location. In this location outstanding. Very comfortable with great facilities. But the location was amazing weather wasn’t great so excuse we need to return to use the garden fully. Right beside Crown and Anchor which is a great wee pub and restaurant.

Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. Absolutely lovely lodge in a great location to explore Northumberland. Grandparents staying and a grandchild to amuse for a few days. The pub and site is very friendly. The lodge is very cosy. Has everything you need for a homely stay. Perfectly sited next to the lake. Was visited daily by the swans and geese which the granddaughter loved. The hot tub was amazing to end a busy day visiting tourist spots. Diane the host was easily contactable should we need her, which we didn’t as everything was as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dianne. Look forward to staying again.

All good but I have to comment the bed mattresses were a little too hard for us all.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and spacious and also very private, a home away from home. Carrell was very friendly and greeted us on arrival. She had put a great deal of thought into making sure we had everything we needed even providing us with some groceries so that we didn’t have to go shopping on our first day. We would highly recommend Carrell’s place to anyone visiting the area 😊

A beautifully presented property in stunning Northumberland. The property is close to the heart of Seahouses but set away in private peaceful street only a few mins walk from the centre of town. The property is incredibly clean and much much bigger than the pictures can possibly show. Each room on its own floor feels private and perfect for large family or group wanting to get together but also have some privacy. The Northumberland coastline is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and this property is right in the heart of it.

very nice please , really comfortable in a nice quiet area, has all amenities and is very close to retail park with restaurants etc.. highly recommended
