Vacation rentals in Chowan River

Another wonderful stay for our family at Water Winds. The panoramic view is immersive and tranquil in all weather, and games and toys kept our kids easily entertained despite the cold. Look forward to coming back!

This stay was my first time in an Air B&B. Each and every time I forgot a code or whatever else with which I needed help, Stephen was right there with making a phone call or just showing up in person or answering his door and solving my issues! The Air B&B itself was absolutely pristine; beautiful, comfortable, and cozy… it felt like home.The recently added kitchenette was definitely a welcomed amenity! Instructions were very clear! (My only problem was the TV- I’ve heard of ROKU but know nothing about using it! I finally figured out how to find the guide…. I did miss out on watching college basketball games which I enjoy. I did find the golf tournament by accident but as soon as I tried something else, I lost it and never found it again so I did without sports! TV was mostly for background noise and early morning… I was in Edenton for wedding and all festivities!). The location was phenomenal… I was either within walking distance or within a 5-7 minute drive in any direction!

Donnell is an excellent host, easy to work with, communication was great, home is rural but exactly what we needed.

It is the perfect place to stay for our work trip! There is enough rooms for all of us and a nice kitchen so that we don’t have to eat out all the time. I will say if there was any issues they where on top of it quickly for instance the dryer wasn’t working currently and we let them know and but the next day they had it replaced! That means a lot when you are packing for a long week at work. You can wash your stuff and not have to pack as much.

Great place to stay in Columbia.

Aaron’s place was exactly as advertised. My wife surprised me with a stay at this property for my graduation, and it was perfect. The house was very accommodating for my family and kids, with spacious rooms and exceptional cleanliness. Aaron was a responsive host who promptly answered all our questions. The backyard was an incredible spot to relax in peaceful surroundings. I would definitely stay at this property again!

This is a clean, cozy accommodation with lots of privacy. I loved it and would stay again!

A group of 12 of us, 4 different families, from different parts of the country were in town for my daughter's wedding and our original reservation for a place to stay fell through. Chastin was willing and able to accommodate us last minute. The house was clean and kitchen stocked well with kitchenware. The place was perfect for our gathering. While we were not involved in wedding activites, it was the perfect place for us to hang out and reunite with each other. The property is beautiful, and a perfect place for children to explore and adults to hang out in the various indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The house had more than enough room for all of us. We were thankful that our previous reservation did not work out as we feel that staying at Chastin's place was meant to be. I would book again in a heartbeat if we have another opportunity for family gathering in Virginia Beach.
