We left. We had a great stay. Here is our review: We had a truly wonderful stay! The home is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with high-quality All-Clad pots and pans, and the bedding was top-notch—super comfortable and clean. We especially loved the breezy deck with its stunning water view—perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The hosts were incredibly responsive. When we mentioned we could use a few more hangers, they had an Amazon delivery on our doorstep the very next day—above and beyond! This place really has it all. Beautiful, quiet, and thoughtfully equipped. We’d return in a heartbeat. ⸻

This was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our time bird watching in the mornings and stargazing at night. It was was like coming home each day after touring historical Goliad and Victoria. Thank you Claire and Wilfred for a great experience! PS: The donkeys greeting us when we got back Saturday night was priceless!

Place is perfect! Super clean, comfortable and well decorated. It felt safe and at home. We booked late since we were driving back from Mexico and my husband got tired. Joe was still very responsive although it was late and a last minute booking. I would stay there again for sure, highly recommend! My kids enjoyed it as well and slept comfortably. I enjoyed a cup of hot summer berry tea in the morning I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thanks for hosting us!!

Stayed here for my son’s birthday trip for his 7th birthday. We all enjoyed the animals. The guardian dogs were super friendly and didn’t mind my kids loving on them. The alpacas were incredible. My son wanted to see alpacas for his birthday. Lyn made it extra special by letting him walk the alpacas both evenings we were there. She also showed him how to make a lead for his stuffed alpaca. She was truly an amazing host!! We felt welcomed and comfortable with her and her son, Andrew. We also went to the state park a few miles up the road. Very beautiful park on Lake Corpus Christi. However, we had no luck with the fish. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

This place was the perfect little getaway to find peace and get a little reset of daily life in the city. It was nice to connect with nature and reconnect with yourself and whomever you go. The yurt had most of your needed amenities (except a microwave) however this is camping so, go prepared. There are a lot of critters roaming around but that's part of the experience. This place is definitely a very nice spot to unwind, peaceful, quiet, private. Highly recommend and appreciate the responsiveness of the host.

Esmeralda was very kind and generous. She took some time to get to know us and even gave us some recommendations before i even had to ask. the house was lovely and stocked with extras for guest such as individually wrapped bars of soap and 2 in 1 packages of shampoo and conditioner and even some basic food items for use like cooking oil, seasonings, pancake mix and syrup, rice and beans along with pots and pans and even a box of stuff for grilling and a smores caddy. she was very thoughtful and checked in with me to make sure everything was to our liking or if we needed anything else. i highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area i know ill be staying here if i visit the area again.

The weekend was so relaxing. A nice little getaway from the city life. Enjoyed fishing on the pond and river. Kids enjoyed being outdoors. Jacuzzi was awesome to be in. We took our movie projector and set it up on the house and watched movies outside by the campfire while the kids made s’mores.

Kathryn’s house is nothing short of magical. It’s surrounded by the most beautiful nature that can instantly soothe your soul. The moment we pulled up and heard the wind chime we knew that this was a special place. Inside, the house is immaculately clean and decorated to perfection. The beds are without a doubt the most comfortable I have ever experienced in an Airbnb. We had dinner at one of the outdoor tables overlooking the field…what a view! Kathryn was the kindest, most amazing host a person could ask for. 5 star experience all around! Thank you!

We loved our stay here! Lots of room in the cabin it’s self for everyone to have their own space. There were 5 of us. Walking the property was very peaceful! My kids and myself LOVED the animals. The cabin had everything we needed. Overall just an excellent experience!!

The place was great, unique, and peaceful! They wrote us a note and a bottle of wine since it was new years. A very nice touch. We don’t drink but the thought was great! Inside was great. It has everything you need more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at so I really appreciated that. My only negative was the lake was so low and that wasn’t in the pics or description which we wanted to fish but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Would recommend to stay here.

Very quiet peaceful country vibe with a beautiful view of Cows.. Host is very friendly and responds very quickly. The home itself is beautiful and my son absolutely enjoyed the loft. This place was pretty neat. perfect space for families to enjoy eachothers company. There is a large deck with tablecand chairs and easy access to the pool. There was beautiful peacocks around tge property and Horses to watch too. The home is tucked into the trees so it felt private. Its less than 10 minutes from. the HEB plus and allot 30 minutes away from Poteet and tge Strawberry festival. We had a wonderful stay, The hosts were friendly and did regular checks on the pool, but never felt like they were intrusive.
