Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Chittenden County

This was our first trip to Vermont, and all we can say is we will absolutely be back and staying with Lara in the future. She was so attentive to everything, from the non-scented sheets to providing gluten free food options was so nice. We felt welcomed, and loved all of the recommendations she gave for the area. We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully come summer time!

Lara was an amazing and dedicated host. Very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend taking advantage of the sauna. Our favorite part of the stay!

What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!

So this was mine and my husbands first ever Bed and Breakfast experience and let me tell you the bar was set HIGH! Between frequent and easy communication, to allowing early check in for us, to the kind atmosphere and perfect breakfasts- this was by far one of my most favorite trips! Would stay here again and again!

Lara was always around if needed and was so pleasant to communicate with. She made me feel at-home and welcome. She was kind enough to offer recommendations for my time in the area and I look forward to staying with her again!

Mick and Karen were amazing hosts! Our stay was so comfortable - the rooms and common areas were so clean and inviting. The weather was colder when we visited, so we were able to enjoy a fire on the back porch and chat with other visitors. Such a nice touch! The location was great, very close to Sugarbush and not far from surrounding mountains. The food beyond exceeded our expectations, such amazing variety and ingredients (locally sourced), the most gourmet breakfasts I have ever had. Karen was very thorough in accommodating one person in our group with food allergies. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Rose & Anatoly are lovely. Their care and preservation of the inn is evident everywhere. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room had the cutest bathroom, with lots of space and hangers in the bedroom. No shoes at breakfast felt more like a luxury than an imposition, it created a casual and relaxing way to wake up. We had an exceptional time in an exceptional place.

Do yourself a favor and stay with Mick and Karen. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts—you leave their inn feeling like you made 2 new friends. :) We plan to return next time we find ourselves in the Mad River Valley.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Lara ‘s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, the hostess and her son made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. They were both so warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The suite itself was beautiful—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you could ask for. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible amount of local information the hostess provided. She shared great recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants, all of which were spot on. Thanks to her suggestions, I was able to discover some amazing spots I wouldn’t have found on my own. I can’t recommend this place enough! It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you again for such an unforgettable stay!

Mick & Karen have the coziest gem right near the best of what Vermont offers - incredible skiing, tasty restaurants, nature trails and more. But, what made our stay so special was Mick and Karen’s attention to detail, warmth, kindness and INSANELY amazing cooking. The inn itself was beautiful with such unique touches making it even better than we expected. A one of a kind stay that we couldn’t recommend enough.

This place was so lovely! Rose and Anatoly are amazing hosts. The room was cozy, the breakfast was delicious and the location was amazing. I'm already planning my next trip to Vermont so I can stay here again.

Heaven on earth! Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of, as we looked for a romantic getaway. The room was pristine and homey, and we had a full spa experience in the decadent bathroom. Leanne is a formidable chef, and handled our food restrictions with grace. The breakfast was Michelin-star-worthy! And Leanne & David took such good care of us: gave us plenty of privacy but were perfectly available whenever we had a question. They pointed us to great hiking and an excellent bakery. I only wish our stay had been longer. We will definitely return. 10/10 recommend. If you want a luxury getaway, an escape into beauty & elegance, and the comforts of home - this is the place! LOVED our stay!!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had at the Yellow Farmhouse B&B. Leanne and David are the ultimate hosts. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. The space was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom and bathroom were not only spotless and gorgeous, but very comfortable. The location was perfect and our hosts went out of their way to give us recommendations and directions for nearby exploring and dining. We were fortunate enough to experience the fall colors and enjoyed exploring Stowe, Queechy and North Hero. Our 2 breakfasts were among the best we have ever had, Leanne and David go above and beyond with delicious food that is presented in a very special manner. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!
