Cabin vacation rentals in Chinese Peak

We had great time. The cabin was as described. It was clean and cozy and in a convenient location for wineries and Yosemite. The hot tub under the stars at night was a highlight! Thanks for a great stay.

Overall we had a lovely stay. Everything was as described in the listing and it was a great base to explore Yosemite from. It was easy to find, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great! We found a few things the cleaners seemed to have missed, which we communicated to Jessica; she did mention getting the cleaners to come back but we had just been cleaning up ourselves as we discovered them. There was firewood outside, but none dry inside, and no matches, fire starters or kindling. We let Jessica know but need to buy our own matches, etc; a bit troublesome since the fire is the main source of heating for the house. Jessica did let us know the day we checked out about a specific wood pile that was supposed to be drier than the one by the door we used. Once the fire was lit the house was very warm. We'd definitely recommend Jessica's property - it's in a great location and was a really cosy place for a winter holiday.

For our 20 yr anniversary we want take a break from all our hard work. We said peaceful, cabin-esq, fireplace, gorgeous scenery that looks and smells like fall, and a hot tub. Sara And Tony's place delivered that and more on a silver platter. Everything was pristine upon arrival clean , beautiful carpet in bedrooms, comfortable beds, relaxing living room, and all the conveniences you could want. The hot tub was so clean, natural gas plumbed to the grill and fire pit. Plenty of seating around the wrap around porch. We loved that they didn't have a long list of chores, they were prompt with communication. We rolled right into the driveway and opened the door to a little peace of heaven! We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you for thinking of everything, so we didn't have to!

Was an amazing stay and nice spot for what we needed. Is close to the main road so abit of passing traffic but quiet at night.

My wife, 2 dogs, and I loved staying here! There was plenty of space on the property for our dogs to run around. The house was great and cozy! The hot tub was a plus, too! We would definitely recommend this place!

This was a great cabin and was perfect to relax with friends! Location was private, but close to town and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely stay again :)

This is great place to stay. The cabin is well equipped. Really liked the layout and having an upstairs and downstairs bathroom is great.

Such an adorable, cozy cabin! Sara was very responsive before the trip and during with any questions I had. A lot of things seemed newly remodeled/renovated. Smart AC/TV. Beautiful bathroom/decor with nice flooring. Clean bedrooms free of clutter and a lot of space for two families to comfortably stay with their own bathrooms.

Very peaceful cabin experience. Loved the vintage decor. The heater and comfortable bed kept us warm and cozy in the winter weather

NOTHING can BEAT the VIEW! It’s a perfect home for a bigger family. SPACIOUS, SERENE, PRIVATE, CLEAN AND THE VIEW. The hosts are great and very generous with their house. They’ gave their 100% to make us feel right at home. THE GAME ROOM is just perfect for kids and us adults as well. We definitely recommend the house for all the families without a second thought. We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin-it’s stylish and beautifully designed! The view from the patio is stunning, making it the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while soaking in the scenery. The property features two cabins: the main house and a smaller cabin, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen, though compact, is well-equipped and ideal for a couple of people cooking at the same time. There’s no dishwasher, which means washing a lot of dishes if you’re staying with a larger group;) and there’s no grill available. The fireplace in the living room isn’t functional, but there is a working fireplace on the lower level, which we appreciated. The property has two driveways. The lower driveway is gentler and more comfortable, while the upper one is quite steep. If you have a car with low clearance, be prepared - it took us a few hours to park carefully without damaging the cars. For 4WD vehicle, it won’t be an issue. Overall, this cabin is a wonderful getaway spot. Thanks!

Great property, close to Yosemite and Oakhurst is a little town with some nice restaurant options. Great hosts too- very responsive and helpful!

This was a great stay ! Everything was as described and the place was lovely , clean and so welcoming ! We ate at the mountain oaks cafe and the recommended South Gate brewing company - both had great food and service. Wild fig kitchen was a fantastic breakfast place and top of our list for great eats. We spent a lot of time at the Yosemite and it’s an hour and half drive from where we were at. Extra points for the great coffee ❤️ and ensuring we had everything we needed for a lovely stay !

We had a lovely weekend at the Knotty Cabin. It accommodated our party of 7 perfectly. The view from the deck was absolutely amazing. Samantha was quick to answer any and all questions we had. I would definitely stay again.

Quick and Responsive. The fire pit was a beautiful touch, thank you to the host for assisting on turning it on. This is a glamping experience, but I was amazed at the amount of supplies and amenities this cabin was equipped with. Beautiful views. Quiet as well.

Cozy Cottage for Couples! Loved the peaceful vibes and positive energy. Phil greeted and welcomed us with a lovely tour of the grounds. Lisa was super responsive and helpful with recommendations. Oakhurst is a charming town and perfectly situated near Yosemite, Sierra Natl Forest, Bass Lake, and so much more - yet it feels pleasantly secluded, and you can't beat the starry nights seen from the property. The BBQ at Smokehouse41 was great, the Mariposa Coffee Roaster should not be missed - say howdy to "Gerry," Judy's donuts were yum, and the Thrift /Antique stores are full of treasures...enjoy the outdoors, majestic nature, and the nearby towns are full of quirky businesses and historical structures and sites. Cabin was close to town and close to Yosemite. Made a great base camp for hiking the park. It is located in the mountains and looks and feels like a mountain cabin. One piece of advice, READ THE INSTRUCTION EMAIL COMPLETELY. I did not and parked in the wrong spot. GREAT CABIN!

Beautiful cabin! We stayed during Christmas time there was a tree with lights and decor which made our stay so special. There is a lot of space, very clean and over all a warm comfy space. Any questions we had the host responded right away and would also check in to make sure our stay was going good. Will definitely be coming back!

This is an excellent home. It has everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels in the bathroom, lots of extra blankets, board games, toys for kids, and more. It was probably our favorite rental we’ve stayed at. It’s close to town, but on a quiet street and far enough out that it is extremely quiet and peaceful outside. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and it’s not a far drive to the son-parks, lakes, and hiking trails. The host is prompt in the replies to messages and has very easy to follow and reasonable rules for the house. We loved our time here and plan on trying to stay again next time we visit town!

This spot is amazing. Second time we have stayed here. Making lots of great memories with our young kids. So thankful to Bill for sharing his incredible cabin in Shaver. The beds are extremely comfortable. My kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. The cabin really is perfect. Thank you Bill!

This was a great place to stay. The curved A-frame shape and the interior arrangements were truly mind-blowing. The spiral staircase leading upstairs was awesome. The home was very cute and clean. The firefighter-themed décor inside the home was fantastic. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed—and more.
