Places to stay in Childersburg

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! very clean and an enjoyable stay.

Incredible location on Lake Martin. Tucked behind an island that creates a private cove to enjoy while on the dock. It’s the perfect setup for families with kids and adults alike. We enjoyed hours of paddle boarding, swimming and exploring the water out there. The huge back yard was an added bonus. We’ve stayed at airbnbs worldwide and Stacey’s place is by far the most stocked house we’ve ever rented. You feel as if you are staying at a friend’s place. Truly well done on every level with the amenities, decor, and setup. You can feel the pride they have in the place. For those boating it would be hard to find a better location to enjoy the water. Easy and quick access to multiple restaurants and marinas. We spent hours in the general vicinity of the house tubing and skiing. Nice calm open water. Thank you Stacey well done!

I was looking for a place close to the grandview hospital and for that, Clint’s place suited me perfectly. It was a quick 5 mins drive. They had a gym that was perfect. The apt had all the amenities and wake up Birmingham are quite responsive to any questions and ready to help. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We stayed for a month and had enough linen and all the utensils needed for cooking everyday. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place. I only have one recommendation. If the garage fob can be placed along with the apt key in the lockbox it would be easier to just enter the garage with the car once retrieved.

Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable place. Only there 1 night but slept better than most nights at home.

Faye’s place was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend giving her place to stay if you’re in the area.

The treehouse was absolutely perfect. I went in the off season looking for peace and quiet. The location was absolutely ideal - it is private but not isolated, with neighbors nearby but far enough that I felt in my own little world. The house was beyond amazing - it would be so entertaining for a group or a family. So many games and activities! The decor was really fun and the amenities were all top notch. My two pups absolutely loved exploring the beach area near the marina. Definitely would go back!

The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.
