Waterfront vacation rentals in Chickamauga Lake

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

Robbie was an excellent host! he even helped with changing out my headlight in my car, which means a lot because i got a ticket for it being out. the place was very comfortable, peaceful as well, had everything my children and i needed for our stay. we really enjoyed our stay, also check in is very flexible, Robbie accepted our short notice request stay with no problems and it was around 11pm when we arrived from traveling all day. i would definitely stay again if we pass by the area again.

Great place to stay! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. So close to everything but you feel like you are also tucked away.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

Rhonda and Clay were kind, nice hosts. Easy access, ease of parking, and great lake view off the balcony. Would definitely go back!

It was beautiful condo and an even better view of the river. Very peaceful! We enjoyed our stay! The host was very responsive. We had a couple little issues the night of check in but they were addressed and fixed right away. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future.

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

Our hosts were great. They were responsive to our inquiries. The house was perfect for our family gathering - comfortable and welcoming, with many spaces to run, play, converse, and reflect. We paricularly enjoyed the upper open deck - mornings, mid day, & evenings. Everything you think you may need is there - from fully appointed kitchen, bedding & towels, games, & space. The home is beautiful and Daniel has a keen eye for decorating and design. The upstairs balcony overlooking the Tennessee River gorge is an especially delightful space. The master bedroom shower was a treat. Daniel couldn’t have been more accommodating.

The home was private and had amazing views! My family and I had our Thanksgiving during our trip and it was perfect. Kaela was very responsive and accomodating. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect place to join up with our son, DIL, infant, and dog, as they evacuated from south Florida! We enjoyed making our meals in the fully stocked kitchen! The house was set up perfectly for our needs, with the master suite on one side of the house, and two bedrooms and full bath on the other. Enjoyed our walks in the beautiful quiet neighborhood!

We had a great stay at Bethany’s place. She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The perfect peaceful location away from the city while still be a quick drive to all the area attractions. Would stay with Bethany again for future visits to the area.

We had a very relaxing stay. Enjoyed the covered porch and views the most. Didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi or fish, we were busy with family events in Sweetwater, Madisonville and Hiwassee River Wedding venue. Would return again and next time just stay put at the lake. Had all the comforts of home.

Location was amazing. Close to downtown Chattanooga and just far enough away where you can relax. Gary communication was fantastic

I rarely write reviews because most places are the same with some inconveniences so I just keep it to myself. Dana did a fantastic job as a host though because she provided all the necessities and more. We had a good amount of towels to use. We didn't have to run out to the groceries store to get more trash bags or toilet papers like other places. I was confused when she didn't have a list of things I had to do to check out so that was a nice surprise. My kids loved looking at the birds and river while they were there so her location was a good spot. Overall, we'd recommend it.

This spot felt sooo quiet and private for how close it was to everything! The area it’s in is perfect if you want to walk everywhere without staying in downtown. Also the Murphy bed was so comfy :) Would definitely stay here again!
