Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chicago

We found Vic to be very responsive and helpful. We had an issue at check in, but Vic was very responsive, even though he was on a trip himself! He made sure that our needs were addressed and even sent us a gift card to his favorite pizza place. Snafus are always going to happen. But Vic's response was top notch. We would definitely stay there again.

This place was great for our family. It was exactly as it showed on the listing. Urania was a great host, she was very responsive. We had no significant issues, and she responded quickly with any questions we had. We would come here again if we come back to the same area.

What a cool house! This was the perfect solution for being away from Indiana for a night with family. The house is HUGE inside, and real charming. Would love to stay again sometime.

Lilly was prompt in her responses and very helpful. The place was well kept and clean. A quick Uber ride to downtown. Our group really enjoyed our stay!!

Craig’s place was perfect for our family to gather over Christmas. Spacious and comfortable. Craig was always prompt responding to our questions. Would definitely consider renting from him again.

The number of railroad crossing in the neighborhood presented a challenge. We discovered taking 144 st. to Halsted is a great route either coming or going to the house.

The photos, as beautiful as they are, do not do this home justice. We were in town for a tennis tournament. Kymi's home was near our tournament site, and we felt safe in her location. However, it was Kymi's attention to not only the comfort of her guests, but also her desire to make the experience as easy as possible to just move in and live that put this home over the top. We have stayed in a number of homes due to our travel with tennis. Kymi's home by far had the most well-equipped and stocked kitchen we have experienced. The home is beautifully decorated, the furnishings and beds are comfortable, and every room is quite clean. Prior to arriving, I had asked Kymi if she would recommend some local restaurants. She quickly responded with a generous list. All communication was quick and clear. We will stay here again if we return to Chicago.

A great airnb plenty of space and great location 5 minutes from state street and more I can’t wait to come back in the summer !

If your Chicago destination is Andersonville-Lakeview-Edgewater, Jim’s place is ideal. We were right down the block from Little Bad Wolf and there’s a Jewel-Osco right there too. Clark St. is great for restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment itself is so cute and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was looking for an Airbnb. I’ve decided to cut back on my Airbnb stays in the future. I had a difficult customer service experience with them on a different rental last month and don’t want to go through something like that if I can avoid it.

Elizabeth is a WONDERFUL host! She is responsive and very accommodating. Her home has everything you can think of for your stay but if you were missing anything Elizabeth will make sure you have it. Her property is in a great location and within walking distance to great restaurants and shops not to mention I-290 and the blue line are a short distance from the apartment. Elizabeth has the best personality and she truly takes pleasure and pride in hosting. Don't hesitate booking this property you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved the home and its aesthetic. The surroundings and neighborhood are wonderful, and the host was very responsive. It was a nice touch to see the Harry Potter and Twilight books in the home—they brought back so many great memories from my childhood. I would definitely recommend this place—it’s perfect for both relaxing and small gatherings.

Very comfortable space; great location; helpful host; well-equipped. Of note, there is no thermostat within the space, but that did not present an issue. Would return without hesitation in the future.

Excellent place to stay for short or long periods.

I’ve have enjoyed multiple five-star l stays around the world but Josh’s home in Lincoln Park takes the cake! It is in an ideal location within walking distance to nature, music venues, fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and pubs/cocktail bars. Not only is it a very well designed and incredibly clean home Josh is everything you could ask for in a host and was there for us above and beyond. When I needed an extra doormat, he was just a text message away to assist and it made my month-plus stay in our first Chicago winter very manageable. You should absolutely stay here, stop the search now, I am so happy I stayed here, and you will be too!!!
